Shaking her head at the soutaichou, Mikoto answered.
"Iie, it's not my doing, nor is it Shin's for that matter," she answered. "This is no ordinary storm that's coming. It carries a chaotic aura. I just hope that whatever it is doesn't throw Soul Society into another state of panic."

"It isn't a storm at all, if you pardon my interruption." Aoi interjected in her usual quiet tones. "Even an odd storm would give my zanpakutou energy... Susanoo has gained nothing from this. I assume that he likes it less than I do." she finished, golden eyes serious and somewhat frustrated. She didn't like this storm, it didn't giver her any vibe but one of dark, and forboding. She crossed her arms across her chest, golden eyes focused on the darkening sky.

"Of course this isn't my doing, I wouldn't do anything to make you unhappy, Hibiki taichou." Shin replied to his taichou with a deep bow. "Though, as I was telling Ryuzaki-san, there are many natural phenomenon that could have caused this." Ryuzaki was about to speak up at this, but Shin kept going. "However, as Aoi taichou as mentioned, there are many things about this that makes it seem like anything but a storm."

Nodding slowly, Seto sighed softly and stretched his arms over his head. "Well, if that's the case then perhaps we should send in a scouting party to gather data...best to be prepared for it before it actually reaches us here than risk being unable to do anything when it's too late."
As he finished his sentance he sighed softly before continuing, "Not that I don't think we can handle it...but still...being ready for it couldn't hut."

The Soutaichou looked to the storm again, searching for an answer. "For the time being, do not raise alarm to this matter; we do not want unnecessary panic..However, it would be best to keep an eye on it." Kira hoped that he was just overreacting in response to all that had happened recently, but was still skeptical. Regardless, he kept his cool so that the situation remained under control.

Looking back to the soutaichou, Mikoto nodded.
I guess I'll have to see what happens in order to know how to battle it, the scientist thought keeping herself from looking too worried.
"Ah! Kira-san," she said to him. "There's something I need to ask you about. Could you come with me, please?"

Aoi glanced at Kira. "Soutaicho-sama... I understand your wishes not to raise alarm... But I would like to see what is going on over there. I would be willing to investigate, if you'll allow me, Soutaicho-sama." she said, her golden eyes still serious. She personally wanted to investigate this, for reasons including protecting the Seireitei if this turned out to be a problem, to satisfy her curiosity as to what this really was, because it was no storm. She also wanted to disprove that it was, with a storm-based zanpakutou she found it somewhat insulting to her person that people would call such a dark, forboding thing a storm.

Kira went to follow Mikoto, but stopped when Aoi addressed him. He thought for a few moments, considering the young taichou's proposal. "Going on where, exactly, Nakano-taichou?"

Her golden eyes stared at him levelly. "Going on over in the direction that that is coming from." she nodded at the dark clouds. "Nothing good is happening over in that direction, I can feel it. I would like to investigate, if you'd allow me." she said, her voice in its usual monotone. She glanced back up at the clouds, frowning.

Yoshimitsu steeped up "i would like to go with her as well if that's ok? it wouldn't be smart for anyone to go over there alone right now." he looked up to the sky. "that and i want to get a closer look myself." he said his eyes no longer as care free as they were.

"I really do not believe that will be necessary Soutaichou-kun." Said a voice unheard before in the Soul Society.
"Kira-taichou! Behind you!" Ryuzaki yelled as he quickly pulled out his zanpakuto
Behind the Soutaichou was a tall, slim red haired man who seemingly appeared out of no where. "It is nice to see that my little storm distracted you enough to allow me easy access to your world."

Yoshimitsu jumped in front of kira, the extra chain now out and laying on the ground ready. "so your the one who gave me this damed feeling in the pit of my stomach" he said looking at the man wondering what he was.

Aoi merely turned her head, staring at the man. She didn't look surprised, or even seem to care who or what he was. "You realise that invading, and then going to an area densely populated with Captain-class Shinigami is a death wish on your part, correct?" she said, staring at him with that unnerving look she gave people she was annoyed with, that almost scary cold look with an unspoken threat in her golden eyes.

"Lay a hand on my Prince and you will definitely suffer," a female demon said as she appeared behind the other.
Golden eyes looked around at the array of people. She sneered at them all.
Mikoto stepped forward, her hand already gripping Girochin's hilt. She was half fascinated due to the unknown creatures, but half on edge that she didn't know a thing about them.
"Ah-ah, I wouldn't do that, Red," Psiren tisked. "Hostile movements lead to hostile actions~"

Kira's eyes widened at the unfamiliar voice behind him. 'H-how did he get behind me?! I didn't even sense his reiatsu..' Jumping away quickly, the Soutaichou put a hand on his zanpakuto, facing the newcomer. He didn't want to draw Wabisuke just yet- the red-haired man hadn't made a motion for attack."Who are you? And more importantly, what business do you have here?" Kira's tone speaking that he didn't want any nonsense.
