Media: I have cousins that are flaming red-heads with green eyes that are entirely ethnically Jewish without a drop of Irish blood in them. I have another little cousin that has the biggest blue eyes you've ever seen that go well with his blondish hair. There's no one definition of what defines somebody as "looking Jewish" or not, and moreover, it's not looking Jewish that defines you as being Jewish- it's practicing Judaism. Don't let anybody ever tell you otherwise. Oh I know heart But stereotypes have such a negative impact on .. everything.

You see, if Jews really were planning on taking over the world by controlling the federal reserve, the media and banking, I wouldn't be dirt poor. Sometimes, when everything turns to s**t and it looks like my family might be homeless again, I cheer myself up by reading antisemitic conspiracy theories. Go figure.

Dr. Mengele and Dr. Goebbles would agree with your theory that Jews have a "look", Lumanny. I don't really agree with them on many things. After all, do you look like this lovely man? All Jewish stereotypes apply to Ashkenazim, who are pictured as having black, curly hair, green or brown eyes and a large nose every time. If you go down the root of Nazi propaganda, which remains to this day a factor in the way people picture Jews, we are also short and fat from greed. We have expensive clothing, greasy, ugly faces, and may or may not have horns. sweatdrop

I dunno if all stereotypes necessarily apply to the Ashkenazi...didn't you see Don't Mess with the Zohan? Maybe you didn't, it was kind of terrible. I still love Sandler though.
Greasy and short you may be, I've never met more charming men in my life than the ones that were Jewish. xd

These weird, seperate people who lived among the Christians were mistrusted, partially because they didn't worship Christ. Natural naivety plus the religious climate they lived in made them liken Jews to witches or demons. Hence they endowned us with horns! Next time you see an old Christian image of Satan, look at his face. Which stereotype does he fit?

In art as well, Moses was often iconically shown with "Horns of Light," which in his case, weren't supposed to be a bad thing. Got a bit perverted, though.
