Glitch's frowned. After a moment, he shrugged. "Well, I am a fool. Runs in the family. I got my dad's brains." He blinked, having forgotten what he was going to say. Then he remembered and added, "And, you totally deserved to be knocked down. You were being rude."

"Perhaps that's because your line isn't nearly as important as my father's. Or maybe he's simple." She tried to stand up in the mud pit, but failed and fell back down. She pounded her hooves in the mud again and let out a frustrated growl.

Glitch glared at her. "Murtaugh is the smartest guy I know. And my parents may not be gods, but they're better because they're just normal people who stood up for what they believed. That makes them mighty. Furthermore, you're the simple one because you can't see that you aren't any different from me. We're both fools in the mud."

Glitch rolled his eyes. "Destined for greatness? No one knows what their destiny is. You're still a fool for not realizing that." Glitch didn't know what to make of this. For once, it seemed like he was the smart one. It was odd.

"Mock you? No, this would be mocking you." Glitch sat up straighter, his nose high in the air, and said in a high voice, "You there, peasant, come get me out of this mud hole. And while you're at it, carry me home, you fool. I am Princess of the Wind and will be treated as such." Glitch resumed his normal posture and voice. "Murtaugh had to explain mocking to me once, so I know what I'm talking about."
