"But why only two of us.... what was wrong with us that she didn't want us too?" This was a question that often plauged Mashaka.... what was wrong with him. When his sister mentioned his step mother he shivered, he shared his sisters feeling about his fathers mate. All she did was still their fathers attention away from them, and now she had cubs of her own, that werent his fathers babies... and he spent time helping her with them... the whole thing made Mashaka sick.

"She was young father say's...maybe she couldn't care for more the two." She said softly leaning into him. "THough Father was foolish brining all us home only to find her with more cubs." She said letting out a small growl

Mashaka giggled, he was happy he had finally given someone a chance to get in. Perhaps Kana was the friend he always needed in this family. "Do you know what, I think when we get older we should leave together... we will go and find Mama together." he said picking up his sister affectionate name for their mother. Mashaka was still reserved about his mother, he still held a sense of abandoment, that was something he would probably have until he got the real story.

She nodded quickly smiling. "I'd like that Mashaka I hope she remmeber's us." she said shivereing a ltitle moving closer into him.

"I hope so too." he said queitly, He rolled so that his sister could move closer into his side, and then he drapped one of his paws over her, and placed his head on the back of her neck. He would keep her warm tonight. He let out a little yawn. "Also you do belong here, you belong with me... we will always be brother and sister." he said quietly... it was odd for him to have such a touchy moment but her knew that his sister was different from the rest of the family... but the same as him.
