Matsuya shrugged. "I dont know. Ive been thinking alot about that myself to be honest. I try and model myself after him and all I can come up with is water. But I dont know. I dont have any kind of special bloodline or clan." He looked at the graves. "I just dont know. I mean im good at swordsmanship, we've proved that. I could learn water jutsu. What do you think?"

"Yes you are good at swordsmanship and yes I could very well train you to be a great Water user...but it's your choice, you have to decide what kind of shinobi you'd like to be, and you can't be like Him...because you're a completely different person!" Blade told him trying to make the boy realize that no matter what, he's already surpassed Zabusa in character. It was his job to help him surpass Him in power.

Matsuya smiled, trying to hide it. "You keep saying that even though you know I disagree. I understand your point though. My main elements are water and lightning, so I guess water it is then."

"Alright then...lets go to the park then..." Blade said as he looked back at Ayame. "Hey Ayame I'll catch you later," he said as he headed for the park.

Hirose wanted to follow them himself, but couldn't. It was unhealthy to spy on people all the time, so after lingering by Riun's grave for a tad longer he went back to the beach.

Matsuya walked into the graveyard. He walked to the tow graves and sat between them, as usual. "Im sorry guys. Im a disgrace of a ninja. I couldnt even make it further than I did." He undid the belt for his katanas. He put them down on the larger grave. "Im going to make things right though. Im going to destroy those who stand in my way." He clenched his fists. "Im going to destroy Ame and Konoha. Im going to ask permission from Zane for something special." His eyes reverted to the ones of hate. "I will make them pay."

Zane arrived at the graveyard...knowing full well that Matsuya would be here from what Blade's told him about him. "Hey Matsuya!" Zane exclaimed as he reached him, the temperature around the place going cold as snow began to fall upon the graveyard...Zane's own little tribute to Haku, knowing it would ease Matsuya even a little.

"You're not a disgrace...besides, if anything I'm a disgrace for not training you TO pass. So if anything...the blame resides on me. Which means that I'm doubling your training from now on so you better get ready for it. Now what's the favor?" Zane asked him

Matsuya looked down at the ground. "I need you to make me a chunin under your command. And if a war does break out, I want to lead a strike team into the enemy village. If you think Im ready...."

"I agree that you can lead a strike team into an enemy village, you have the makings of a great leader. But to the chuunin request, you're going to have to give me some time, there are still some things that I want to teach before that, and I still have to test you for it, and for that, I want time to prepare you, but don't worry...soon you will be ready," Zane explained to him as he took out a special scroll from his pocket. He tossed it at Matsuya and pointed at it. "That holds the secret technique that goes with Stage 5 of the Mist swordstyle. Though you achived the stage, you never perfected the technique. By coating a layer of chakra over the blade, you can increase the length and wind. Also...it's invisible to the regular eye, won't work on my sharingan mind you, but to others, they won't see it, so you can use that as a pretty good advantage," Zane explained to him. "Learn that, I have to go with Luo but I'll be back soon," Zane told him as he exited the graveyard in a burst of mist.

Chakra Edge Description: By coating a layer of chakra over the blade of a sword, the user can increase the width and length of the blade. The actual extension is chakra, and so is invisible to the eye. The Chakra Edge can only go a maximum of one foot above the length of the blade and half a foot over the width of the blade.

Matsuya nodded. "Okay..." He knew that Zane wasnt around to hear him anymore, but he didnt care. He opened the scroll, reading it. He reached for his katanas. He took one out of its sheath and stood up.
(1/10) Matsuya walked over to a nearby tree. If the teqnique was invisible to the eyes, he would have to find something to practice on. He held the blade in front of him, focusing. He swung the katana horizantally through the air. Nothing happened, other than a normal swing of the blade.
(2/10) Matsuya focused again. He conceintraited his chakra into the blade. He swung it again. This time tere was a small scratch on the tree. He looked at it. His katana was to far away to make a scratch on the tree. It must of been the chakra edge. He sighed, it wasnt good enough.
(3/10) Matsuya focused his chakra into the katana again. He closed his eyes, conceintraiting on the tree and the katana only. He swung again. A small cut formed on the tree. He ran his hand over it. It was slightly deeper and wider that the last one.
(4/10) Matsuya sighed. He had to get this right. Zane had said there was more he wanted to teach him. Matsuya got back into postiton, his blade in front of him and his feet securly on the ground. He let out a long breath. He swung the katana again. A cut emerged in the bark of the tree. It was slightly bigger than the last.
(5/10) Matsuya focued again. He closed his eyes. He imagined the blade as an extension of himself. He snapped open his eyes and swung the katana. He watched as a cut formed on the tree again. The cuts were growing ever larger as he continued.
(6/10) Matsuya planted his feet on the ground again. He looked at the tree. There were cuts all over it now. He wiped the sweat from his forhead. He closed his eyes again, focusing on what he had to do. He swept the katana through the air again. A cut emerged on the tree. It was the largest cut yet.
(7/10) He sighed. He could extend the edge, but not as far as he'd like. Matsuya planted his feet on the ground again. He took a long breath. He squng the katana through the air, never touching the tree. A large cut emerged on the bark. He ran his hand over this one. It was deeper, wider. But still not good enough.
(8/10) Matsuya walked back to the postition he was swinging from. He focused his chakra into the blade again. He took a swing. A cut appeard in the tree. It took a chunk out of the trunk. (lol rhymes) It was half a foot deep and a quarter of an inch wide.
(9/10) Matsuya wiped his brow again. He held out the blade in front of him, channeling his chakra into it. He closed his eyes and swung the katana. When he opened his eyes, half of the tree was cut through and the cut was pretty wide too. He sighed. "One more time. Ill cut that tree in half."
(10/10) Matsuya stood back, allowing room for the final blow. He took a deep breath and swung the katana. The center of the tree, where he had been slashing, burst into splinters. He laughed. He had done it. He walked back to the graves and picked up his other katana. He fastened the belt around him again. He smiled at the graves. "I might have a chance yet." He walked away.
