that is a common misconception about sidekicks. i don't use mine for texting i use it somewhat like boombox and a camera and for aim sometimes.

well aren't they good for texting? i mean we know it can do all the other stuff, like which cell phones these days can't do those functions
and I already bought a Blackberry storm, no need to get a new cell phone yet

i'm just saying just cause it has a convenient keyboard doesn't mean its good for texting i mean whenever i text i always make at least one mistake and have to do it over.

Dude, Sidekicks were made for you to use their keyboard. For emailing, texting and instant messages. If it wasn't for that then why would the design include the keyboard as such an essential part of the phone instead of just having the regular dials with letters?
Oh, and the keyboard is definitely not too small. If you make mistakes on it, it's probably because you make mistakes typing anyways.
I mean, if you're complaining about the sidekick keyboard, I can only imagine how you must feel about the G1 keyboard. xp
