Ormeteth's eyes closed almost lazily at the reward of sorts, more pleased that His had done so well through all of this. The rider had notably relaxed now that they'd arrived at their destination, and considered his job to be done. The thanks was only accepted with a curt nod, and then he turned to go.
He would be halfway down the hall before he realized the little brown dragon... definitely wasn't following him.
...What?
She might get lost in here, and that would be your fault! The dragon's voice cheerfully flitted through his mind, and G'ran didn't bother to swallow his snarl of disgust.
The dragon in the meantime would be trotting after Ichta's heels, tugging on his rider's mind to make sure he'd follow. He had to help out, too! They had to see this through till the end!

Okay, the library definitely wasn't big enough for her to get lost in, but having the little 'friend' in there with her was definitely a little experience as Ichta, obviously a little more oriented with the placement of books, headed off towards the back shelves.
Or rather, the seats that were placed for the sake of easy-reading. Oh ho ho! She definitely knew where to look for whatever it was she had left laying around. But lo and behold! It seemed that what she was looking for was indeed where she'd been looking for it -- camouflaged amongst it's own. It wasn't a very spectacular looking book, looking as though someone had to fix it several times in the past as well as remade the cover (As it had been patched together).
In fact, it was probably a pretty old book.
But after flipping a few pages of the very..personalized book she sighed, though for no given reason, and actually seemed to smile (OMG!) with relief.

She is happy, now! She is holding something. The brown reported almost instantly to His, who had just began to awkwardly slouch into the library. He tilted his head inquisitively at the girl in question, almost as though patiently asking if that was all. We should help her back, so she does not get lost again!
G'ran grit his teeth and said nothing as he wound his way through the room, quickly spotting both dragon and girl. "...Find it?" He grunted, eyes flicking over whatever it was before they went back to the door. It was no interest to him what she'd been searching for, and though he'd tolerated this strange afternoon up till now, his patience was wearing thin.
Ask her!
"...You need to get back?" Insert more grinding of his teeth, and words so growled it was lucky they were even understandable.

Something about the voice he'd asked it in actually made her grimace a bit, the edges of her lips tightening as she reached up to pull her shirt collar back up over her chin. He.... made it sound a bit like a chore to make such an offer.
Which earned him the 'tiny voice of frightened whipped puppy-girls' in her moment of awkward anxiety.
"You don't have to.... it's not fair for you to do so much for me when I can't return a favor......."
Awww, had he frightened her? Either way, she sat herself into one of the reading chairs to stare... more at his feet (and Ormeteth) than at G'ran. "But thank you, G'ran. I do appreciate the help." Well yes, she'd thanked him once for his assistance already, but she was all to willing to give more of it.
"Besides... if I'm away long enough, I'm sure Canthry will find me...... so I don't mind....."
I CAN WAIT, AWKWARD AWKWARD.

"Canthry?"
His normally slow responses were replaced by the thundering boom of surprise, shaggy brows hitching until they were in danger of slipping under his hair. "...You know Canthry?" Shards and Shells, now he was reluctant to leave her here.
I remember her! Ormeteth said cheerfully. She made you not talk and you got annoyed when I wanted her food!
"M'not going to leave you sittin' by yourself for shards know how long." He finally growled with frustration, rubbing at the back of his head. "...The barracks?" He finally offered, figuring that would be a good place to start. And he at least knew how to get there this time. They were right next to the girls', and the fact that Canthry somehow tied into all this made the situation even more awkward.
It was hard to forget the not-man that had accidentally roomed with him and 'Rari, even if it had only been for a day or so...

His sudden surprise caused her to jump a bit, her frown much more defined with it. W-what was wrong with Canthry?
"i-I room with her...." she answered awkwardly, pondering if the girl she'd been rooming with was some sort of disaster zone she hadn't known about -- at least going from the way he'd asked the question. Meeeeeeeeh?
"Is that okay?"
However, the growl of 'U HAS NO CHOICE' caused her to stiffen up awkwardly and shift a bit. W-well, if he was offering, she didn't mind imposing.. she guessed. Though his frustration sort of concerned her -- in a different way than would be expected initially.
Oh dear.
"Y-yes. If it's not asking too much."

Roommates. He grunted a little at that, but wouldn't dare offer up where he knew Canthry from. Roommates as well--and the thought still mortified him to this day. "S'fine. ...Met her after I Impressed."
The big man started to move again, clearly more certain of where he was going this time. Ormeteth spun in a quick circle before he peered brightly up at Ichta with an encouraging sort of dragon-smile. It consisted of him dropping open his jaw, looking rather silly with all his tiny teeth before he darted after His.
Now you know where you can find them both! That is lucky, Mine!
Lucky. That wasn't the word he was thinking of, but the man didn't grumble about it for once. The fact that Ormeteth had picked up on it... well, he was starting to think there would, unfortunately, be many more visits.

OoooOooh. So he knew her roommate from a previous meeting -- that was actually a little more... yeah, it actually put her a little more at ease, sighing lightly and even offering Ormeteth a little smile-coo back for the little draconic...goofy-look.
Awww, look at him being all darling!
No really, Ormeteth was being the cutest little dragon she'd ever met! (Brownie points, he was earning them...) However, she did continue to maintain her little distance behind both G'ran and Ormeteth, holding tightly onto the book she'd practically panicked herself into tears over finding. However... ... .....
She didn't really strike up small-talk either. No 'Lol lol, I thought she was a man the first time I met her' or anything of that persuasion. Just.... trailing along behind him....however:
"If you ever want me to return the favor..." she started quietly.. "I... can sew...and you can ask me to... if......if you want."
IT'S OKAY I MADE THAT OFFER, RIGHT?

Ormeteth was quite happy to try and croon back at the girl, occasionally stopping to circle back so he could trot by Ichta's side before slithering up to His again. See? He did have good ideas, whether his rider wanted to admit to them or not!
G'ran was quite content not to look at their passenger of sorts. The barracks were coming up soon, and then she'd be safely back in her room. Ormeteth couldn't say anything to drag him back then, though he was getting the feeling that the dragonet was starting to become quite hungry.
Favor? He paused at that, eyes sliding to their corners so he could squint at the girl without having to actually turn his head. Sewing... The trousers Ormeteth had cut with his teeth came to mine. Normally, he wouldn't ask--but he had few clothing here... Pride struggled with necessity, and eventually, with a faint heave of his shoulders, he glanced over at her.
"...Got some trousers with tears. ...Think you can fix them?"

Well, as long as Ormeteth seemed at ease around her, she'd just try to not get nervous about G'ran's silence. After all, he was kind of.. big an intimidating when the brown wasn't 'ruining his image' in a sense. Alas, it seemed after a minute or so the big man finally (and obviously to Ichta's surprise) gave her an answer.
Having expected him to just stay silent, Ichta jumped a bit at the sound of his voice -- though as gruffly as he spoke, there was something almost pleasant about hearing him speak. Perhaps it was just hearing someone else talk so it wouldn't be entirely silent.
"Trousers.... I could probably fix them in a relatively short amount of time..." she answered back -- well, as long as they weren't made of some unfaranthly stiff or thick material that was difficult to sew through - her mother hadn't exactly sent her off with the best of the best, but she had enough to fix most things.
Fix, not make.

He eyed her sideways for a moment as she stated that yes, she could likely fix his tattered clothing--and quickly too. There was a soft grunt to that, acknowledging her words, and G'ran was temporarily satisfied. "Hold on." Came the not-order, and he took a quick turn down one of the hallways that would lead to his weyr.
Ormeteth, however, would stay with Ichta, peering up at her with an affectionate croon. I told you I was very sorry when I ripped those, but since you were so nice, she will fix them for you! Making friends is good for you, Mine!
Yeah, yeah, yeah. G'ran muttered to himself the whole way back, the trousers crumpled within one massive fist as he returned to where he'd abandoned dragon and girl. "..." Wordlessly, he offered the pants to her. Only the one leg was truly torn, as Ormeteth hadn't exactly savaged him. He seemed to be waiting for some sort of acceptance or rejection on her part, watching her face for the first time with a deadpan sort of expression.

It was as good as an order for her, Ichta automatically stopping when she was bid to. She probably would have stood there all day if she'd been told to -- not happily, but she would have out of fear of upsetting someone not-her. It seemed she wasn't standing alone, however, as the brown dragon of the man had decided to linger at her side.
Though she was more than happy to return that affectionate little croon right back at him. Awww, he was so friendly! In fact, she even snuck in another affectionate scritching along Ormeteth's eye ridges.
However, she automatically retracted her hands when G'ran returned, looking to him as silently as he made his 'offering' for her to look over -- but only once she'd pulled her collar up over her chin again. All she really needed to see was the damage in the leg of the trousers, looking down at Ormeteth once she saw the damage and frowning (in that 'oops' sort of way) before nodding.
"I have what I need with me to fix something like this." She confirmed for him. It wasn't a 'simple' tear, but it was definitely within her capabilities to fix such a thing. "I can do it."

Whirling eyes would lid themselves with pleasure at those nice, small fingers getting at the itchy spots, and he huffed a contented breath before straightening cheerfully at the sight of His. Oh. The upbeat dragon actually had the sense to look somewhat abashed at the look Ichta gave him. and his faceted eyes slowed just a bit. He hadn't meant to! Though with the way His had yelled, one would have thought he'd been bitten...
G'ran would study her for several moments before he finally nodded, satisfied with the answer she gave. And even if she couldn't, well. It was only a pair of pants. "...Barracks are right down there." He gestured with a jerk of his chin, stood awkwardly for a moment, and then turned to head back to his own Weyr.
Ormeteth lingered to brush himself against her legs for a moment with a happy chirp of sorts, peering up at her brightly before he dashed after his. I like her. Will we see her again, Mine?
G'ran only grunted in response, but the dragon knew that was as close to a 'yes' as His ever gave.
