Marduke put her hand up as Sephie picked up the rest of Marduke's books that had flown across the table. Sephie looked at the teacher, studying her carefully. To Sephie, she seemed almost....bored. Indifferent, perhaps. Or maybe she just didn't expect much. Either way, she always knew Pure was an unusual professor.

Trista rushed down the halls in her wolf form to make her Defense Against the Dark Arts class in time. She was sure that she was already late, but she had seen students walking in the halls still and decided that it must not be too bad. She morphed back into her human state as she approached the door, and removed her bag of books which had been hanging around her neck as she ran. She slowly walked into the entrance to the room, hoping to not be noticed by many people; especially the professor. Trista glanced around the room to see new and older faces, but as she noticed Sephie and the girls, she drug herself over to the seat behind Persephone and plopped herself down into her seat as she laid her bag down next to her chair seat. Trista glanced up at the teacher who was eyeing the students up, especially the late ones. She glanced over at Marduke who was still panting a little. She must have been in a rush as well Trista thought.

Delila had slipped quietly into the class before it had begun and taken a seat not quite in the back but very close to it. She watched as Marduke rushed in late, and as several students tried to get Professor Chelsea's attention to answer the question. She was interested to see how this year would go, and if the class was amiable and interested, Delila would be sitting at the front in no time. If not, she would migrate towards the back, but not out the door.

Chelsea ignored the new comers just as she had with Marduke. She was convinced they would be told by their class-mates about what she had said about late-comers. Personally, she didn't mind ignoring people every time she came to class. It made teaching quite easy. Getting mad and deducting points from classes was fun too, though, she supposed. Maybe she ought to alter that.
"Alright, Marduke, lets hear it," She snapped, as a couple of hands flew in the air.
After Ginger was quite tired of throwing dark glances at Chelsea, she watched Trista walking in. She'd need to tell her about not coming late again, she told herself mentally. Somehow she wouldn't like it if anyone got into trouble on her sister's behalf. Ginger had not bothered with raising her hand, even though she knew what the stunning spell was and did. Were they going to get the chance to stun Chelsea? The thought made her grin, even though she knew it was just wishful thinking.

"Correct." Chelsea nodded, looking around. " I trust you all practiced it enough last term to actually be able to stun somebody. Today, we are going to try reviving stunned people. Does anybody know the incantation?" This time she looked around more expectantly.

Delila raised her hand and forced herself to speak. "Isn't it ennervate?" She hoped that she had said the right thing, it seemed like getting the wrong answers with the headmistress for a teacher could be disasterous.

Jeez, what's with all the late people? Sephie thought. Professor Pure ignored them, but Sephie was silently afraid that something was boiling up under the professor's calm appearance. Sephie knew the answers to the questions, but she wanted to give the younger students a chance to answer them. Sephie thought about whispering something to Marduke, but decided it would be stupid, since they were sitting right up front and Pure didn't tolerate that kind of thing....
