Um, i'll have to disagree with that for now. Before they start to make an anime for kaito kid, i think the author should finish Detective Conan and even write a little more in the MAgic Kaito series. It is good but it needs more stuff to make an anime.

I agree with what you guys say about more manga and finishing DC before even thinking of making Kaito Kid as an anime. But it would be great though.

That would be Aoko Nakamori, right? Come to think of it...She really does look something like Ran. Then....Anyone ever noticed that Shinichi could take Kaito's place, or vice versa? They look almost the same (Except for Kaito's messy hair).

Phht. My friend is cosplaying Kaito KID. And I will be Saguru Hakuba in the inverness coat! BUWAAAH~ Bishie chasing bishie~!
The manga needs more meat to be an anime. At that, it wouldn't make a good anime. It is better left as if and instead added to Detective Conan. They already added a lot of his important heists as well as quite a few new in the DC world.

kaito kid is the bomb!!! ive noticed that theres a lot of similarities between detective conan characters. like how everyone is child hood friends, like kogoro and eri (sp?) and the kudos, i dont really know how to spell their names either, and ran and shinichi, heiji and kazuha, kaito and aoko, its so weird. o yea, one time, when i was watching the first time we meet kaito kid in detective conan, and he descends upon the roof, i felt a hand on my shoulder, but no one was around, so i jumped off my chair and fell on the floor in fear, then i started laughing, cuz of my stupid reaction. i thought it was nothing, but it happened to my friend too, so we think that episode is haunted lol

According to wikipedia, there is an anime (and at the very least there's several specials including "the secret birth of the Kaito Kid")
