Zephyr grinned. "We are a rather bizarre but wondrous family, aren't we? A race home sounds like a good idea to me, Vinny," he said as he turned to bolt and get airborne, the mud sucking at his pale hooves. "What does the winner get," he called down as he waited for them to get airborne, out of courtesy.

Vinesh was puzzled. The race was to prove his brothers' advice that clean feathers made for better flight - what better reward could there be besides being right?
