Mouse silently snored beneath a leaf, getting in a days worth of sleep to keep her tiny body energized and ready for her lovely lady, Lilliana. She silently dreamed of delicious cheese and frolicking through beautiful flowers that called out her name in wanting. At the end of the field of flowers stood Lilliana, her hands out waiting for Mouse to hop in them. Lilliana! Mouse shouted in joy as she scurried through the field to reach her lady. Mouse! Help me... Lilliana shouted with a smile on her face, contradicting the words that flowed past her lips.
Mouse furrowed her tiny eyebrows in wonder as she walked up to Lilliana and questioned, What's wrong Lilliana?
I need you...
Mouse awoke from her dream with a jump, knocking her head into the stem of the leaf that hung above her. "That dream," she mused aloud as she rubbed the spot on her head that had hit the leaf. "She's calling out to me." Mouse quickly gathered her things and slung them over her shoulder before scurrying through the brush towards her lady.
"Don't fret Lilliana! I'll be there soon!" Mouse shouted, hoping that everything would be alright when she reached her dear friend.

Hare met Mouse just before they came to the Lady's chambers. He nodded at the little girl, a faint smile making its way across his face despite his anger. It was almost impossible to avoid smiling when looking at Mouse. He did not, however, say anything; this was serious buisness, and they both knew it. Knocking lightly on the door, Hare called out, "My Lady?" and then opened it a crack to make sure that she wasn't passed out on the floor. It had happened more than once.

'Twas brilig, and the slithy toves, Did gyre and gimble in the wabe. All mimsy were the borogroves, And the mome raths outgrabe Cheshire smirked. "Of course cat's chase rabbits, the main reason is because rabbit's are such lousy predators...hopping about, eating greens." She said, explaining why. "No wonder you have yet to succeed..." She teased, watching him as he circled around her. It was suprisingly predatorial for a rabbit. "When you are upside down, the world is all topsy turvy...like usual I suppose." Cheshire raised an eyebrow. She would never think such a thing, sure, she was mad, but she wasn't crazy. "Water the trees, now you are being absurd, I would never suggest such a thing, the trees take care of themselves just fine without my help." For she loved the trees, and they are where she spent most of her time, high above others, keeping an eye out for an opportunity to cause trouble. Where she spent her time watching over both kingdoms, watching to see all that was going on, and how things changed. "Poor villagers, I guess it serves them right not to assume things..." She said with a shrug, for it really didn't matter to her. Cheshire turned her head to the side as he yawned, as she had mere minutes ago. "Poor Rabbit, getting tired..." She said before kissing his outturned cheek. `Well, then,' the Cat went on, `you see, a dog growls when it's angry, and wags its tail when it's pleased. Now I growl when I'm pleased, and wag my tail when I'm angry. Therefore I'm mad.'"

I'm late, I'm late, For a very important date. The White Rabbit White enjoyed the feel of her soft lips brushing across his cheek. "Well, I suppose I got what I really came for, eh?" He sat down, leaning against the treetrunk as his eyelids grew heavier. "Rabbits? Lousy predators? Ha, I'll have to show you different some day, Miss Cheshire. Hunting those blasted carrots is actually quite difficult, if you must know. And as for whether or not I'll succeed," he gazed up at her fondly. "Well that's up to you, isn't it?" Tossing his sword beside him, he pulled his knees to his chest and sighed heavily. "Yes, woe is I, running around, cutting down houses. Sometimes my hands get tired with all the chopping," he chuckled, "And then I have to use my feet. Awfully convenient, aren't they? Feet, I mean? If we wouldn't get anywhere without them!" Laughing softly at his little pun, White turned his attention back to Cheshire. "You know, I wouldn't mind if a certain little kitty got tired and decided to snuggle up against me," he smiled. "It wouldn't be a terribly awful experience, you know." His eyes drooped, as his elegant chin fell to his chest. "Really... quite... silly of me to think," he chuckled, "Us watering plants... what a notion..." His eyes finally shut, as his breathing grew softer and more rhythmic, the evening sun casting shadows across his face. No time to say "Hello". Goodbye. I'm late, I'm late, I'm late.

Mouse scurried past March Hare to view Lily staring at herself in the magic mirror. "Lilly? Are you okay?" she questioned as she stood at her feet and looked up at her with wide eyes. "Hare and I heard your call for us. I hope we got here in enough time," Mouse stated as she tried to make a conclusion of how she was feeling out of the look in her sad visage.
If anything bad were to ever happen to her dear lady, Mouse would be devastated and her heart with break, so Mouse always did anything in her power possible to help Lilly with her problems, sticking with her through thick and thin. It was lucky that she had March Hare with her doing the same as well, for she knew that the dilemmas that Lilliana was put through was sometimes too much for little Mouse to handle.
No matter how hard it is this time, I will help her with all of my power, Mouse mused with determined yet concerned features.

"I knew you would, where would I be without you two", her voice was faint and her speech broken. Lily used the corner post of her bed so she could inch down and offer her hand to Mouse to climb on. Sadly Lily stumbled and crumpled to the ground. Against Hare's wishes she was casting her great spells every night, not wanting to waste a moment with inactivity! It was killing her really, and she knew she couldn't keep up with it much longer before she put herself into a coma. She had until the next full moon to summon more humans before she would collapse permanently. Lily could rest and her power would always come back, but the more exhausted she was the longer it took for her body to reabsorb the magic that was so much like air to the mysterious woman. Sitting on the floor Lily allowed Mouse to crawl up onto her shoulder, with the small mouse girl beside her she looked up to face the furious stare of her oldest friend. "Don't scream please...", she begged.
"I just need your brew, I'll be fine..", She said breathlessly. Lilliana was laboring to keep conscious, if she passed out Hare would lock her up away from her tools and refuse to let her cast her spells until she was full recovered again. "I have news..I..have reached someone..I don't know who..but the human will be here soon..I must make sure..they get here..safely", Lily wanted to cry, the urge to sleep was so strong but she couldn't afford to. There was so much more to do, rooms to prepare, weapons to create, assurance to deliver to the few beings of Wonderland who came to her for safety and hope. Lilliana had become the savior of those creatures who cried for a somewhat more peaceful though still highly disturbing and needlessly complicated home world. Lil was trembling greatly, and still fighting dizziness and nausea, she'd gone and done it this time.

'Twas brilig, and the slithy toves, Did gyre and gimble in the wabe. All mimsy were the borogroves, And the mome raths outgrabe Cheshire paused, listening to all that he said. It was obvious the kiss wasn't going to keep him awake. She already knew that, for once you have pillaged and burned a village, your body tends to demand sleep. Cheshire flipped herself over and dropped gracefully to the ground, landing on her feet like usual. "I suppose I could keep you company for awhile." Cheshire stated as she walked over to where he was resting against the tree. For a few moments she considered changing back into a cat, but decided against it for the time being. She sat down next to White and rested her head on his shoulder. She was going to talk for awhile, reply to his statements, even if he was asleep, and she would do so quietly. "Yes, you will have to show me one day how bothersome it is to chase after those carrots." She commented with a small smile, taking one of his tired hands in hers and rubbing it to relax the muscles.. "And, yes, I do suppose it is up to me whether or not you succeed, but only in one quest...." . For she couldn't help him with anything the Queen of Hearts demanded of him, it was against her nature to help either side, only to cause trouble for both. Never would she intentionally help one side. "Feet? They are quite useful, especially when you can have four at times, even better if they have claws..." Cheshire noted, for she loved her feet when in cat form, for she always had a weapon then, and could climb to great heights. "It was quite silly for you to say such a thing, there is no where near enough of us to even consider taking away the watering priveledge away from the trees and place it upon ourselves, we would never finish!.." She said, allowing herself a small laugh as she took his other hand and worked on it. "Sweet dreams..." Cheshire muttered in his ear as she brushed away the stray strands of hair away from his face. She, once again, laid her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes. `Well, then,' the Cat went on, `you see, a dog growls when it's angry, and wags its tail when it's pleased. Now I growl when I'm pleased, and wag my tail when I'm angry. Therefore I'm mad.'"

Hare trailed in, making an effort to keep his expression neutral as he prepared a proper dose of the potion. "I'm not going to scream," he replied quietly. It wasn't as though yelling did any good, anyway. She wouldn't listen. Couldn't she understand that all the humans in the other world would be useless if they lost her? Moving to stand beside her, he held out the cup for her to drink, averting his eyes as he did so; it was hard to keep his composure intact when she was like this. "I will take care of the human," he continued, "You need to sleep."

I'm late, I'm late, For a very important date. The White Rabbit As his eyes closed heavy in sleep, White continued to mumble about his carrots. "Mmm, I'll get you someday, blasted carrots... You can't hop away from me forever..." Suddenly awake, White blinked his eyes a few times to get used to the darkness. Long gone to bed, the sun had grown tired of shining over the forest. As the moon sent down her gentle streams of light, White turned to find Cheshire sleeping quietly on his shoulder, her delicate eyelashes flickering occasionally, as she breathed quietly.
"My dear Miss Cheshire," he chuckled quietly, taking care not to disturb her rest, "Methinks the rabbit has finally caught the cat." Putting an arm around her small shoulders, he lightly stroked her deep purple hair, snuggling a bit closer to her body. "You know, my dear Miss Cheshire, sometimes I envy you, with your freedom and mischief. I never knew that life, unfortunately, and I probably never will." Gazing sadly upwards, the Rabbit let out a sigh, his breath forming into a cloud in the cold night air. "Mm, it's getting chilly," he breathed, hugging Cheshire tighter to his warm body. "Wouldn't want Miss Cheshire to catch a chill now, would I?"
Continuing his admiring of her face, White stroked the side of her face with a single finger, watching as she twitched her nose in her sleep. Chuckling to himself, White sighed again and bent his head down to lightly kiss her cheek. "There. Now you can't say that I'm rude, that I never pay back favors, eh? I'm glad I have you, Miss Cheshire. Life in the Court gets lonely sometimes, you know? It's awfully quiet all the time, except when the Queen has her rants..." He wrinkled his nose slightly. "You know, I really enjoy these little moments of ours, Miss Cheshire. I've always wanted to tell you that, but I suppose you'd just laugh me off, and bound away happily, never giving a further thought? That's why I never told you my feelings, Miss Cheshire." I'm afraid that you would just turn me down without a second thought.
"Look at me," White chuckled. "Sitting here rambling the night away like a fool. But it's alright, because you're here with me, Miss Cheshire." With another lazy yawn, White laid his head over hers, and soon dozed off into peaceful sleep. "You're here with me, Miss Cheshire..." No time to say "Hello". Goodbye. I'm late, I'm late, I'm late.

'Twas brilig, and the slithy toves, Did gyre and gimble in the wabe. All mimsy were the borogroves, And the mome raths outgrabe Cheshire slept on, dreaming of rabbits, trees, and creating mischief. After a few hours, she woke up, refreshed, to see the moonlight illuminating the forest. Being a cat, she was predominately nocturnal, and preferred the night to day. She was also fully rested, having had a 'cat' nap. Cheshire noticed that White was resting his head atop hers. "To flee, or to stay." She pondered to herself. For she was a free spirit, not likely to stay in one spot. Then again, she didn't want to disturb his sleep. "My dear White Rabbit, I am faced with dilemma." Cheshire stated quietly as she took his hand in hers. "I don't know if I should leave or stay, for in being a cat, I am always curious and must find out what is going on, no matter how dangerous.." She explained to his sleeping form. She pulled his hand to her mouth and she kissed it gently. . "Yet, I want to stay here with you, as I am curious as to what is between us exactly. I tend to cause mischief wherever I roam, but never is it to hurt you, when I flee, I follow my sense of curiosity." She grinned up at the moon, smile matching its shine . "Or is it more my sense of mischief..I do not know.." She sighed as her mind was being made up. "It seems as if, for once, I'll stay a bit longer than expected, but only just." She concluded, staying awake to watch the moon travel across the night sky.. `Well, then,' the Cat went on, `you see, a dog growls when it's angry, and wags its tail when it's pleased. Now I growl when I'm pleased, and wag my tail when I'm angry. Therefore I'm mad.'"

I'm late, I'm late, For a very important date. The White Rabbit Yawning luxuriously, White opened his eyes to see Cheshire still beside him, and his hand in hers. "You stayed," he whispered fondly, looking down on her face. "I must be dreaming, no, not even in my wildest dreams did I imagine you staying by my side," he whispered hoarsely, caught in his surprise. Quickly getting up, White dusted his robe off and took out his watch. "Good heavens!" He exclaimed, running a hand nervously through his hair. "I guess that nap took longer than I thought it did..." Squatting down by Cheshire once again, he took her hand gently in his and pressed it to his lips briefly. "How cruel time flies when it sees us together, eh Miss Cheshire?" Eyes smiling, he grabbed his sword and tucked it under his belt. "Thank you for staying with me. It truly means a lot to me, even though it may not for you," he chuckled sheepishly. Mustn't think too far ahead of myself, eh Rabbit? She probably just thought I was an interesting thing to play around with... "Anyways, I must be off to the next town! I'm already falling behind schedule!" With that, he winked a farewell, and made off through the woods, singing that same little song. "I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date..." No time to say "Hello". Goodbye. I'm late, I'm late, I'm late.

((Note: Although Allison is definitely not Alice, she does look eerily like her. Which is why she chose the costume in the first place.)) Allison was quite confused. She felt almost as though she was... floating. In fact, it looked like she was floating. The problem was that the things she was floating past were so utterly impossible that she just couldn't believe that any of it was real. And people did not float. It was a physical impossibility. So is hearing a voice coming from inside your vanity mirror... Pushing a stray strand of blond hair out of the way and slipping it behind her ear, she nodded vaguely. That was right; she'd heard the voice, a lady's voice, and leaned toward her mirror to hear better and... I fell through. Yet another physical impossibility, but there was no doubt that she remembered precisely that. Well, she was coming up on the ground, now; maybe she would be able to sort things out when she touched down.
Her skirt of her dress settled around her legs as her feet gently found their way onto a carpet of leaves. Big, guilelessly blue eyes looked around with something between wonderment and absolute astonishment, because the plants around her... Well, a good number of them seemed physically impossible as well. After another second, it occurred to her that she was completely alone in the center of a forrest that was filled with strange and possibly poisonous plants. "...Oh, dear," she said in a very small, quiet voice.

I'm late, I'm late, For a very important date. The White Rabbit Damn it all, White thought, rushing through the forest while being mindful of his robe. "I'm going to be late again," he muttered to himself. "I hope those damn soldiers have the common sense to start without me, or else we're never going to finish off the next town in time..." The Queen had sent him on missions throughout the land, edging closer and closer to the Pale Court, putting down rebellion wherever he found it. He'd managed to eliminate most of the towns, leaving a trail of blood and charred ruins behind him, but all of it was on a tightly timed schedule, and he was late. Again. "I'm late, I'm late," he sang, as he wandered into a clearing. "Oh?" A girl appeared before him, curiously similar to the Alice that had come ages ago. I don't have time for this... I'm going to be terribly late, White Rabbit thought sadly. Upon glancing at his watch again, White shook his head sadly. "Oh my ears and whiskers, how late it's getting!" Rushing past the girl, he quickly disappeared into the undergrowth, humming again to himself that same tune. "No time to say "Hello", goodbye, I'm late, I'm late..." No time to say "Hello". Goodbye. I'm late, I'm late, I'm late.

'Twas brilig, and the slithy toves, Did gyre and gimble in the wabe. All mimsy were the borogroves, And the mome raths outgrabe Cheshire gave White her trademark grin and waited for him to turn to leave before changing back into her cat form. Sneakily and silently she followed him through the forest, smiling at his song. She froze when she saw the Alice look alike. By the time she noticed White left, she climbed up in the nearest tree and began singing her song. " 'Twas brilig, and the slithy toves, Did gyre and gimble in the wabe.." She grinned her smile and continued on with her verse. "All mimsy were the borogroves, And the mome raths outgrabe." She paused and watched the girl curiously. "Lose something my dear?." Cheshire asked idly, inspecting her claws." You know, you look awfully familiar, but I suppose you will be hearing enough of that in the near future." She noted, streching, then laying down on the branch. "May I ask, what brings you to Wonderland?.." She turned her head to the side and examined the girl, same blond hair, bright blue eyes. Why, even her clothes looked the same.. `Well, then,' the Cat went on, `you see, a dog growls when it's angry, and wags its tail when it's pleased. Now I growl when I'm pleased, and wag my tail when I'm angry. Therefore I'm mad.'"
