The Brave LittleToaster! Wait That Isn't Right... How About The Big Bad *woof* Heh Never Mind ... Aaron settled back as another boy appeared and seemed to take an interest in the girl. At least he could grab her if she fell in. He put his wand away and looked back at Kassie smiling. "No worries... But careful on the wording you use... How about my little doggy issue..." He suggested softly. He laughed softly then spoke again. "I'm a little unsure about it... I don't want to get registered... I'd have to admit too much... I just want to go back to the good old Aaron... Youngest son of a muggle family... My parents can't handle this dog thing... My wizard brother laughs at me every day for my foolishness and my witch sister is helping me to get back to normal... The muggles of the family are staying in the dark as much as possible..." Aaron sighed, this was all too much.
Aaron shook his head after the moment of silence and her question. "No... I think I'll remain out here... I'll go for a run... Perhaps through the Forbidden Forest... " He looked toward the forest in longing. The dog's instincts were still running strong in his veins. He needed a release. An escape. He looked back to Kassie. Maybe he shouldn't have dragged her into this. She was two years younger than him. He ran a hand through his hair. "A run..." He muttered under his breath.

 • ĶáŜŝÃňĐŗΆ ♥ κΑÿŁěĚ ♥ ĶñÎģĦτ • Kassie smiled softly. "Little doggy issue. Gotcha." She winked at him and layed back in the grass again. The sky grew darker with each passing minute. The sun was nearly gone but it was still bright outside. The shadows of the trees and castle grew bigger. Kassie listened intently as Aaron spoke of his family. So he was Muggle-born. That wasn't easily assumed. Kassie actually knew that Aaron had a brother and a sister. They had been at Hogwarts when Kassie was in her younger years, and them too were in Gryffindor. "Just give your parents some time. They will come around. It took my dad a while, but he is now okay with the rest of our family being witches and wizards. My younger sister will be coming to Hogwarts next year." Kassie's smile was weakening. She felt bad for Aaron. He had this problem and his parents weren't even supportive of it.
"So do you want to go up to the Tower?" She asked again going back to a sitting position. Moments later she frowned. She watched as his eyes wandered to the Forest. "Ok then. Be careful. There are lots of dangerous creatures in the forest. I will see you back in the tower...maybe." Kassie stood up, wondering if she should hug him or something. But all she did was give him a shy wave and shuffle off to the castle. "Bye Aaron..." She whispered when she was a few feet from him. She was starting to feel the information she received today heavy on her mind. Kassie could tell that Aaron felt bad about bringing her into this. She sighed as she entered the castle heading up to Gryffindor tower.

The Brave LittleToaster! Wait That Isn't Right... How About The Big Bad *woof* Heh Never Mind ... Aaron smiled at Kassie. She was optimistic. It was good for her. Aaron knew his issues wouldn't be resolved so easily. Being a wizard was one thing. Turning into a dog was another thing entirely. He wouldn't be here when her sister started. The sad parts of this being his last year. His last chance to learn what he needed to know.
Aaron shook his head and laughed softly as Kassie again tried to get him to return with her. It was unfortunate that his instincts were pulling so hard. He would have liked to get to know her better. He sighed and watched her go. "See you around, Kassie..." He whispered. He really wanted to go after her. She was suddenly extremely special to him. He would protect her and adventure with her, if she would just stay with him.

Αɳɑʂʈɑʂɩɑ {♥} Lɵɾɛʈʈɑ {♥} RɵwɳʈɾɛɛXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX "The sophisticate with a wild side"Anastasia tucked a strand of her blonde hair behind her ear, contorting her face, making her lips into a sideways pout. That was her thinking face, according to her sister. She wasn't very good at nicknames, and whatever she would be able to muster up would probably sound really stupid. "How about Fam? Or Fammy?" Yeah...stupid. Just walk away now. Maybe then he won't laugh at you. She continued to stay in her spot, however, by some off chance that he would actually find her nicknames to be good or funny. She gave him a nervous, awkward laugh. Her eyes returned to their normal hazel appearance, as they always did when she was nervous or feeling vulnerable.

Famine watched intently as Anastasia tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, and contort her face into something the redhead found extremely amusing. He had never seen that facial expression before, that was certain. Not only that, but it wasn't something he expected from the blonde girl. Much better than the blank stare she seemed to have most of the time, at least. Then she said the nicknames she had come up for him, and his grin grew a bit bigger. Sure, they weren't the best, but they were better than what other people had come up with for him. He clapped his hands, although he managed to keep it a bit more hushed than he usually would. "Those are pretty fawesome, 'Tasia." he said cheerfully, noticing the awkward laugh she gave.
There was a small, and what he believed to be awkward, moment of silence, before his eyes grew wide and he tilted his head. "Your eyes changed!" His voice sound excited, and he was putting everything he had in not flailing his arms. The only thing that would do would be the make a fool of himself, and hit Anastasia in the face. "Are you a metamorphmagus?" He didn't wait for an answer, as he was sure she was. After all, she hadn't drank a potion in the short time the redhead hadn't been facing her. "That's so cool!"
Resisting the urge to flail his arms was becoming quite an issue, and he was starting to fidget around in his seat.

Famine let a few of his own little giggles bubble out when hers did. It was just something he couldn't help, laughing when others laughed. Usually he had no idea what was so funny, or why they were laughing in the first place. It never kept him from stopping until they did though, much to some peoples annoyance. He covered his mouth as she cleared her though, stifling a small giggle before being able to maintain himself. His head tilted again, and his eyes widened a bit when her eyes changed back to the dark blue colour they had been before. It made him look a bit like an owl, but he didn't mind. "Of course I think so! If I were one, I'd be changing my appearance and stuff all the time!" By now, his hands were clasped together to keep him from flailing. Hitting someone in the face was a horrible conversation killer, he knew that as well as anyone. "But, uh, not meaning to pry, why aren't you able to use them as much?" He bit his lip, but there was still a bit of a grin on his face.

The look on Famines face softened a bit when he noticed how Anastasia was fidgeting, and how it had happened right after prying about why she didn't use her powers that often. Well then, best not to dig deeper into that subject. He waited a beat after she finished explaining why, nodding his head to show that he had, in fact, been listening. "Well, if I were you, I'd just do it where she can't see you. Like, in a locked room or something. Rebel!" At the end of his statement, he made one hand into a fist and punched the air, a goofy smile on his face. Again, it softened, and his hand fell back into his lap. "Unless of course, she has cameras or something watching you all the time. Then it's just kinda creepy." he said, his voice quieter than it usually was. He wasn't entirely worried that he had said the wrong thing, more so that he would have offended the girl, and she would get up and leave in disgust. Then, well, he'd be alone again.
[[Ah, don't worry about it. c: Life happens.]]

Smart Ass Flirt At Your Service (( ********... I must have hit preview instead of submit yesterday... I really thought I had replied... I'm sorry.... ))
Sam grinned as she curled a finger at him, wanting him to follow her. A shiver went down his spin as his mind wandered to places it shouldn't have been. But he couldn't stop it either. And he did so enjoy it. Especially as he followed after her, he got a great view of the sway of her hips. He moved up closer to her. "You shouldn't tease me..." He whispered to her as they walked side by side. He grinned at her and took a bite from his roll. He had already almost finished it off in just two bites.
Sam looked to where they were going. The Black Lake. He stuffed the rest of his first roll in his mouth, chewing it quickly as they walked. He knew some of the animals within the lake liked bread. He'd found that out the hard way his 2nd year. He ate half of the second one and threw what was left as far as he could into the Black Lake. Something swallowed them. He sighed and looked to Morgan. She was moving on. A little ways away from the lake was a willow tree. She sat down under it. He followed her and sat next to her, with his back against the tree. He propped up one knee and opened his arms to her. "Come closer to me... If we look like lovers, we're less likely for people to come wandering too close..." He said grinning.

____________ мσяgαи ∂αℓ¢α ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Morgan grinned. "You are more of a tease than I." She wasn't the one that flirted with anything that moved. She tossed the roll she had taken from the table back and forth between her hands as they walked. Once on the grounds, the pair headed in the direction of the lake. Morgan often lurked about on the grounds. The large willow rooted on the lake side had quickly become her favorite spot. Its branches were good for shade and for climbing. As they approached it, she watched Sam out of the corner of her eye. She hoped whatever had snatched up the bread wouldn't come looking for seconds.
Morgan patted the trunk of the willow once under it. She dropped to the ground gracefully. Sam followed suit. When he opened his arms for her to snuggle into, she smirked. He did have a point, but she wasn't about to go cuddling him in broad daylight. He would have to settle for her sharing the trunk of the tree and just leaning against his side, which is what she skootched over to do. "This is all you get. ...for now." She took his arm and pulled it over her shoulders. Typical date pose. But this was also something of a Q and A session, wasn't it? Morgan plucked a piece of grass and twirled it between her fingers. "So. What is it you want to know."

Smart Ass Flirt At Your Service Sam grinned down at her as she moved his arm around her. He locked his fingers around hers so she couldn't pull them away from him. He rested his other arm on top of his knee. "I like the 'for now' part... I can't wait for later..." He said, giving her hand in his a little squeeze. He leaned back on the tree, looking towards the day time sky. He heard her pluck at the grass, ripping it from the ground but didn't look down to see what she was doing. She had to be doing it with her free hand. He rubbed his thumb over the smooth skin of her skin as he thought about it.
After a few moments of silence, Sam sighed. "I suppose let's start with what you are... You said last night that you were half vampire... I didn't know vampires could have children... How is it possible then?" He asked, still staring at the sky. He was already thinking of his next few questions, but perhaps she would answer them as she answered this first one. Maybe. He was willing to wait and see.

____________ мσяgαи ∂αℓ¢α ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Morgan felt Sam shift next to her as he got into a more comfortable position. She smirked as he spoke. "Later" was a very general term. Very aware that his hand was locked with hers, the redhead noticed his warmth. It wasn't the same as the other night when everything seemed heightened, but it was still notable. Despite that, an involuntary shiver traveled down her spine as Sam ran his thumb across her hand. There was a light breeze blowing and Morgan let herself think that was the reason for her shudder. That same breeze took the grass from her free hand as Sam spoke. She thought for a moment on how best to explain. "Female vampires can not have children. But if a male vampire can find a human woman..." Her sentence trailed off, wondering how much information about her family she could share. "All the men of my fathers side are vampires. They would take a wife long enough to produce an heir. My grandparents were the first pair to remain together. After Father was born, my grandfather turned my grandmother." Morgan paused, giving Sam time to take everything in. "My father was raised human, as my brother and I are being raised. But my grandfather needed to keep him properly in the bloodline, so to speak. So he turned him when he was of age. He met my mother shortly after." Morgan's father was always resentful of being forced into such a life. He wouldn't do that to his children, Morgan knew. She shrugged a bit. "They fell in love and got married despite it all. I am not sure if a vampire could produce children with a Muggle. But witch-vampire offspring have always been a part of the magical world." Though reception of them varied... The redhead knew that several part-vampires had made succesful careers for themselves in the public eye. She looked to Sam, waiting to see if he was satisfied with the answer.

Smart Ass Flirt At Your Service A breeze moved across them. Sam enjoyed it for a moment. But he felt Morgan shiver. He looked down to her and wrapped his arm back down across her upper chest so he wouldn't get slapped and be accused of trying to grope her. He wasn't. He thought she was cold and wanted to make it better for her. He let his arm rest lightly against her, but didn't let go of her fingers either.
Sam listened to her story carefully. There was a lot more to it than what it sounded like. He nodded to show he understood. "I'm glad their letting you grow up human... I like you being here..." He said, leaning into her a bit. But her last comment about half vampires being a part of the wizarding world for a long time, was lost to him. He half laughed and leaned back against the tree again, a bit back from her. "Sorry... I spend most of my time outside of Hogwarts in the Muggle world... I suppose I don't pay enough attention... But my step-father would have a heart attack if he heard I was cuddle up next to a half witch / half vampire... He can barely accept I'm a wizard... That is why I don't think much of magic away from Hogwarts..." He said softly. He shook his head. He didn't want her to start asking questions of him. It would do them no good. "So tell me... How much do you need blood? How much do you enjoy it? And do you like certain bloods more than others?" He asked. He wanted to know if he was special, or if he had just been the only one bleeding that set her off.

____________ мσяgαи ∂αℓ¢α ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Morgan tensed for a moment when Sam moved. Only after he seemed settled again did she relax. He didn't seem to have any ulterior motive in the way he rested his arm on her. When he commented on being glad she was being raised the way she was, the redhead replied with a content sounding "Mmm." She still wasn't sure if his intentions were serious or if he just enjoyed having someone to flirt with. And it worried her to think about how things might change after he got the answers he wanted.
She listened as he spoke about his own life. Her lips curled into a small smile when he mentioned his step-father. Likewise, her brother would certainly not like to hear that she was fostering a relationship with a wizard. He of course, would prefer she be single for life. Or at least choose a vampire. Before Morgan had a chance to comment on what Sam had said, he was off asking questions again. It was inevitable that he would bring up the subject of blood. Her tongue ran over her lips subconsciously as she thought.
"I... I don't need blood. It is nice to have though." She tried to find a way to compare it to "normal" food. "Consider it a very special treat. I enjoy it, yes. And it does depend on the blood...." Here she blushed a bit, thinking back to how she had acted in the forest. "You... affect me... differently. I have been around spilled blood before and it did not tempt me. It has never happened before... I do not know why it..." And she was off muttering to herself in half sentences. The most obvious answer that she could think of was that she was attracted to Sam as a whole. Hence, desire for his blood. It seemed too simple. She shook her head to clear it.
