She eyed him warily as he lay down in front of her. She appreciated the thought behind it though it did not comfort her much. She loosened up a little against her instincts, but not by too much. She would not be taken a fool now.
This talk of family was not at all what she wanted to hear, but she feared he would follow her relentlessly if she tried to leave now. She wondered how long he would go on about this pack that she cared nothing about; these people she would never meet and could care less about. Though she was starting to wonder what it was like there, how they would treat her, welcome her...
Now she knew it was time to leave.

Zuberi could see her thoughts in her eyes, not exactly but when she got to the decision to leave he saw it clear as day. He got ready to stand but then feared that would frighten her. "I can see you would like to leave, I wont stop you... you have given me a chance." he said quietly looking up at her a polite smile on his face.
He hoped that she wouldn't leave, he had kind of grown to like her a bit, she was quiet but he could tell there was more behind her, he wanted to get to know her... mind you it was rare that Zuberi didn't fall in love.

Kipopo shifted uncertainly. She wanted to leave but was unsure how to make it not awkward for the boy. "I... appreciate that."
She went to leave and then remembered the reason she had stopped in the first place. Suddenly her mouth went dry again so she headed around the watering hole to the back side, putting distance between herself and Zuberi for safety.

Zuberi watched the female dog move away from him. She obviously wanted her distance, it was hard for him to understand why she was so against making friends. He having lived the sheltered life he had, didn't understand that she may have been hurt.
Deciding to give her her space he turned to get ready to leave, before leaving though he looked back her way, "I am going now, I hope I see you again though." he nodded his head and then turned before running full speed towards his home.
((I was wondering if you were interested in a fling with the two wild dogs.... ))
