Void Dragoon There's also the entire village (And possible population of Gilneas?) of Humans turned Worgen by Arugal who are still plenty intelligent.
And Shimmer, I think you're mixing up Race and Class. confused Fixed in my post. But i really cant think of another class for worgen other than 'worgen'. I mean... they're WORGEN. They're like druids with one form. They can't cast magic while in Worgen form, they aren't intelligent enough. They can't really DO anything but slash at stuff, without using weapons. As for goblins, I've never seen them depicted as anything but either merchants, marksmen or engineers. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I have never in the game or any of the books seen magic-wielding goblins.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I have never in the game or any of the books seen magic-wielding goblins. I don't think you're giving the Worgen enough credit. >_> I'm sure they're not all mindless savages who can't cast magic or know which end of the sword to hold. And don't concentrate on one group (The ones summoned with the staff of elune), since for all we know there are different ones, or something happened to those or the ones in Silverpine, etc.
And I can't be bothered to find an example because it's so late, but I'm 95% sure there are goblin spellcasters, albeit somewhat rare.
Of course it could turn out neither of them are a new race, but I would say don't count them out entirely just because you or I can't see how they'd fit into the game. Blizzard's crafty like that, remember. s**t, remember Eredar? Oh, I mean Draenei. ;x

IDK about new races...these two seem the most likely however. To me it would seem like these two should be neutral races that have to choose which side to be on. I would also like to see Naga, but I doubt that will happen lolz

Yume wo mite Namida shite Kizutsuite mo . . . Wasn't that dismissed awhile ago? Something about the Chinese finding a race of panda people offensive or some-such.

While yes, the chances of Pandaren being playable at the moment is rather slim, especially compared to other choices, the whole "CHINA PANDA DEBACLE" thing was over the drawings of Pandaren wearing very Japanese clothing. Other than that, there is no law or rule or even cultural disgust over pandas in video games. That is more the rumor than anything.

Actually, in SFK the worgen do cast magic. They're only buffs sometimes, but they can do it. And they're pretty annoying, I might add. But SFK is still one of my favorite leveling up instances. heart
As for goblin spellcasters, I'm pretty sure I saw one in wizard-like clothing, but I don't remember where. I think in Shatt. Maybe he was just a vendor who sells reagents and stuff. I really don't remember. XD
Murloc as a playable race = win

. . . Genjitsu ha gamushara ni kurushi Maybe if they have a whole race that offends them they will Boycott Blizz and stop farming gold (OH NOEZ!!! =X) Also a quick Edit: I would love to be able to play Murlocs XD

xX Starry Delight Xx http://www.wow.com/2009/07/17/new-halloween-masks-point-to-a-new-playable-race/Discuss... Do you think that these new mask are pointing out to a new playable race for the next expansion? I think there might be a chance that these races will be in the next expansion since on WMV (WoW Model Viewer) you're allowed to put player armor on the Goblins and they have a lot of player emotes. The worgen even has some emotes in the files such as "/wave" or "/roar". There's also a chance of Blizz making a female worgen model somewhere in the future. If Blizz makes these two races playable, horde will have Goblins (they first fought with the Horde during the Second war) and the alliance will have the worgen. (since the people of Gilneas used to be humans). They also might be even balancing out the factions again. Like in BC, they gave the horde pallies (Blood Elves) and gave Alliance shamans. (Dreanei) Pretty much, the Horde will have Goblins so they'll have a short race, and the Alliance will have Worgens so they'll have a beast-like race like the Tauren. Pretty much, that sums this whole thing up... i dont think so the green guys look like goblins and the wolf not to sure about but other then that to hell with new races i want air combat ( noobs that mount and run piss me off ), add some sea combat, let thescourge raid city's, new class, flying in all part of arz and outland, etc theres just more that needs to be added then just new races.
