Wow, persistant cats. How do you prevent the cats from getting to it the rest of the time then?

My cat used to open the tank lid to drink from it, but she never was interested in the fish.
Even when we had a pond she used to lounge around it but never tried to catch the fish. Thank fully she did try catching the small herron that got too interested.

I'd love to be able to put fish tanks in cat territory. But mine would have even the heaviest tank on the floor in seconds. I think they work as a team when they destroy the house.

Vanilla eXee: Hmm, I heard of training cats with a waterspray bottle.
I just used the tap on the nose ^^

Shanna66: I'm not too fond of rats...
I still have a bitescar. It got me pretty sick too since I didn't think it serious as it was a pet rat and never told my parents on time.

If you two (and anyone else) want to continue talking about cats, I made a thread.

In other news; update on page 1

I have a little 5 gallon biorb that my goldfish is in.
He's really small, but if he outgrows it he's got a home in our pond. I really like them. I have the round one in black in our living room.

im really in love with all the new tanks you posted! gouramis and bettas all around blaugh i cant pic a favorite out of all those tanks, though i think the garden one is pretty awsome and something i would love to look into getting, maybe just keep some snails in it. after all, you cant have a garden without snails right?

I wouldn't wait too long with transferring him.
A small tank can stunt the growth of a large fish, unless you do very frequent water changes. And goldfish are schooling fish. They like company.

@Shanna66: Well I wouldn't put a gourami or betta in the zero edge, they are much too likely to jump ^^;

My garden (balcony pot) doesn't have snails, it has worms ^^
I think salamanders or frogs may also be nice for the garden one, it's a perfect solution for the island they need. Or fidler crabs!
