He arrived in Solus, distressed with what he saw, yet somehow pleased. If two demons killed each other, it would mean less trouble to the angels, and less to wory about. But on the other hand, it meant destruction for the area around them. Especially those two. The first and Second in the Legion. A dangerous confrontation.

Lilliana breathed slowly as they flew through the air. It had been months since she had been home. Hopefully her parents weren't too worried. But she was basically an adult in human years now, so they should know that she's old enough to take care of herself. And besides, she had Anthony with her, one of the most trusted Elders, so she would always be safe. She looked around the clouds, smiling lightly. "Wow, it's been so long... I've missed this place." She told him in a voice just above a whisper, smiling lightly up at him. She had noticed that he had not let go of her hand yet, which caused her to blush in return. Although she did not see his blush, she noticed that the heat of his body had spiked. "Thank you for taking me home, Anthony." She told him with a cute giggle, not caring if he saw her blush at that moment. She usually blushed when anyone did such nice things to her, including now.

Anthony sighed, loving the 'home, sweet home' feeling. He then listened to all she said, appreciating the thanks and then hearing the exceedingly cute giggle. "Y-your w-welcome," he replied, his tongue tying it self up. He continued to blush, slightly darker now. He landed himself on the streets in the clouds, her beside him. Then he noticed he hadn't let go of her hand and released her hand quickly, "I-I'm sorry... ummm, just wanted to m-make sure I didn't l-lose you," he said, rubbing the back of his head, obviously lying, trying to cover up his embarassment. His smile was a very nervous one.

Lilliana smiled to him before they landed. Once he released her hand, she took it into her other hand, rubbing it gently. She glanced up to him with her indigo-colored eyes, playing her hand before her lips in a coy fashion. "Well, I appreciate that Anthony. Thank you. I would hate to get lost again." She told him with yet another precious giggle of hers. She had gotten lost when she was younger, lost for 2 days in the clouds. It was Anthony that had found her while on partol. But that was when she was a young angel, inexperienced and naive. But she stuck to him like glue, finding him as one of her closest and most trusted friends. As her blush faded lightly, she noticed that his grew darker. Tilting her head in a curious fashion, she wondered what could have possibly happened to cause him to continue to blush. "Wow, this place is beautiful." She whispered, noticing how the sunlight hit the clouds just right.

Anthony heard her giggle again, producing the deeper shade of blush in him. He was feeling his speeding heartbeat so strongly, he thought it might pop out. He recalled back to the day he helped her back home though... before he'd been an Elder. Anthony heard her words and couldn't seem to stop his lips or mouth from taking the initiative. "It-...it doesn't compare to you," he said, out of control of his mouth. He was red from embarassment. He wasn't lying this time but... thinking and saying were two totally different things.

Lilliana quickly looked to Anthony as she heard him spoke. "Excuse me?" She questioned, not really knowing his intentions behind such a comment. But after a few seconds of thinking, her eyes widened and she gasped. "Oh my Lord," She whispered as she quickly did the sign of the cross, hoping that she didn't use the Lord's name in vain. She would have never done it on purpose anyway. "I-I mean... well, um..." Now she couldn't think. She blushed as deeply as him as she adverted her eyes away from him own, placing a hand against her heated cheek, not knowing what to say or do at that moment. "A-Anthony... y-you shouldn't think of me in such a way. I'm not beautiful. I'm only an Archangel and you're an Elder. And you're my most trusted friend.. I... we could never..." She began, more flustered now than she had ever been. She then glanced up at him, her innocent indigo eyes shining in the Heaven's lightly. "Well, um... but, could we?" She asked before she looked away, mentally beating herself for even suggesting such a thing to an Elder, the highest holy symbol in Heaven. "I mean.... s-sorry Anthony, I shouldn't have... I shouldn't have said anything..."

Something about her being flustered too, showing him that he wasn't alone, clicked up his confidence levels. Anthony's stance straightened, his confidence returned. "Liliana," he whispered, his hand gently going to her cheek, his pinky under her jaw. He gently tried to push her to look in his eyes. He wanted to look in her eyes as he said this. "We could. I just... Do you wish to further in this as well? I wouldn't want to push you into it... But, I'd love to have the chance to date an angel like yourself," he replied encouragingly. His eyes looking deeply, but softly into hers. "And trust me, I'm not supposed to lie. Check my eyes for any sign of lying, I dare you. You are beautiful," he complimented again, more confident this time.

Continuing to advert her eyes away from him, Lilliana let out a breath, interlacing her fingers as she held her hands close to her heart. But with the sudden touch of his hand on her cheek, her face was turned to look up at him. Since there was such a height difference it was difficult to really do such, but she continued to manage. Her eyes were glossed over with pre-tears, causing them to shine beautifully as he spoke. "A-Anthony," She whispered as she stared upwards at him, but she quickly stopped so she wouldn't be tempted to interrupt him in any way, shape or form. But once he was finished, her blush returned, creating a gentle heat that radiated off of her face. Her mind immediately went back to Aros, which caused her soul to sadden ever so slightly. After all that, could she really just move on, just like that? No, she couldn't. But Anthony had never failed to be there for her, not for a moment. Such times confused Lilliana to points where she had never gone to before, lost within her on conscience. With her hand still placed against her chest, closing her eyes as she asked God a silent prayer to give her strength for any task she was given, and to decide her own fate. "I know you're not lying, Anthony. You would never lie to me, that's not like you for an instant." She told in him a voice just above a whisper as her lips curved upward into an innocent smile. "If you're asking if our relationship could blossom into a romance, then the answer is yes, it most ceertainly can. But, when asking myself the same question, I hesitated. You see, I'm not sure if I'm ready to take such a step from a fallen angel to an Elder. It makes me feel... dishonest and vile." She told him as she stared into his dark eyes with her own indigo ones, speaking each word with great feeling. "I hold such a strong bond with you and even stonger feelings of admiration towards you Anthony. I'm just... scared. I don't want to be left alone again. I don't want to be hurt again." She told him before she released her hands and placed one on top of his hand that was currently on her cheek. "Do you promise to never hurt me Anthony?" She asked him, smiling as innocently as an unstained angel should, giggling under her breath as an equally innocent human child, emphasizing her clean demeanor.

Anthony, listening to every word as she spoke it, felt a sting at the 'I'm not sure if I'm ready to take such a step'. Thinking she was going to say not right now, period. Which stung a bit since he'd just given it all he had. Then he heard why. He heard her fear and question. He hated the fact she had to ask, a rage towards Aros inside of him bubbling for a moment. He then refocused on her, brought back by that adorable giggle. He looked her deep in the eyes, seeing the pain she had. "I promise to never hurt you. I will defend you with all this Elder can offer. I will try my best to be your guardian and hero," he replied, every word dripping with emotion and honesty. He knew he wasn't perfect, but he could give it his all, and he would... for her.

Lilliana could help but smile as the glossiness of her eyes soon turned to real tears, forming in the corners of her eyes before they streaked down her rosy cheeks. She gripped onto the hand that was placed upon one such cheek as a tear hit his hand. "Thank you Anthony." She breathed as she beamed up at him with such admiration before she removed his hand from her cheek. As she moved it up to her lips, she kissed his hand ever so delicately, as if she were holding a butterfly's wing. "And I promise to do my best for you as well, so you won't have a great need to protect me all the time. I promise to not be a burden on you, my Elder." She confessed to him with a genuine smile, another set of tears escaping from her indigo eyes.

Anthony frowned at her. "Lilliana... You are a gift," he whispered as his face inched closer to hers, his eyes glancing at her lips and then back to her eyes. "You are never a burden," he added softly, about two inches from her face. His hand moved from her lips to her cheeks, brushing away the tears warmly. His hands then gently slid around her waist, holding her gently in his strong arms. His wings spreading to wrap around them. Now, in a cove of ice... his lips inched closer to hers. An inch away now.

Lilliana watched as he leaned in closer to her. She knew exactly what was going to happen. She was going to kiss an Elder. But not just any Elder, it was Anthony. Her Anthony. The Anthony she had grown up with and had been to a figurative hell and back with. As she watched his eyes, which were so full of love and warmth, she felt her lips curve upwards in yet another innocent smile. But this smile was also coupled with a rosy blush that took the place of tears on her cheeks, mainly because he wiped them away. "Anthony, thank you." She whispered again, not caring how many time she told him as long as she meant it ever single time. Moving her hands to his chest, she rose up onto the tips of her toes, to close the gap between their heights as well as their lips. Once hers touched his own, she closed her eyes, gripping onto his robes tightly, mainly just to keep balance as she continued to kiss him. His lips were so warm and inviting, like a miracle from God itself. It was so beautiful. It also seemed like Heaven agreed, the light piercing the ice that Anthony used to surround them as a crystal, creating a mystical feel along wiht a rainbow of colors and effects.

Anthony smiled softly before feeling her lips press against his, her hands grabbing onto his robe. His arms wrapped around her, holding her close, pressing her against him. Her lips were so soft, so gentle. He felt like he was kissing a pair of warm, delicate rose petals, which was not a bad thing. He noticed the light show his wings were creating on accident, but only for a brief second. His focus was her. She was all the beauty he needed. His heart pumped slightly faster as a thought came to his mind but he immediately struck it down. Not that fast... Not unless she wishes to lead it that way anyway, he thought to himself. His tongue begging for the kiss to deepen in passion.

Lilliana blushed as the kiss continued. She never thought that it would have escalated to this degree so quickly. She had only kissed Aros this way, since he was her first kiss. And this one was just as magical as the first time she ever did kiss a man. But as his toungue begged for entrance into the sweet cavern that laid beyond her lips, she blushed harder but abided to his silent request. Her lips parted slowly as she felt her grip upon his robe tightened for a moment before she released slowly. Still on her tip-toes, she moved her arms up to his shoulders, barely reaching a slender palm to his neck, stroking it with her thumb. Her other hand just laid upon his heart, listening to the quick beating that practically matched her own in ever regard.

((He wasn't going to. It's what he tried to stop himself from hinting at all... but okay. Works with me.)) Anthony felt her lips part and blushed as he parted his and let his tongue slip from his mouth and into hers. His tongue was graceful and thin as it slid past her lips and into her mouth. He felt her hand go to his neck, rubbing it gently. His skin prickled to her soft touch. He loved her touch on his skin. His hands rubbed her back gently, still over her clothes.
