Aidan watched Hikari feeling himself unable to ignore the swish of her hips… the male tugged off his jacket and shifted mildly uncomfortable. It was one of those situations where tight leather pants were not a very good thing. When they neared the door he grunted and leaned on the door frame. He would have her later, he knew that… and yet he wanted nothing more than to pick her up and drag her back to their room, to their bed. He was mildly jealous that she had dressed up just for Kieran, but quickly smashed it with how selfish it sounded… his brother was in pain, he deserved some cheering up. Aidan could share… just this one time.
He swatted her skirt as he opened the door and smiled brilliantly for his brother. “Your one lucky a**, she’s a hot one.”

Hikari giggled and pushed down her shirt...her undies didn't really hide much, but that was nothing new to begin with. She peeked her head into the room grinning. "Hey Kieran." she said, not quite ready to reveal the skimpy little outfit to him, she wanted to really make an entrance. Something that would really put a smile on his face...how could she do it though?
She notice Kieran was asleep. She frowned a little and thought for a moment. This could be a good way to make her entrance to tell the truth. She stuck out her tongue and bit down on it lightly. She snuck into the room and stepped forward to Kieran, poor thing, he really did need the cheering up and that fact that Aidan had agreed on her doing this sure was something to behold.
She leaned over in front of Kieran, putting her hands on her knees. "Kieran.." she cooed smiling at him.

Kieran opened his eyes slowly, to come face to face with…. Boobs. He looked up and then made the connection with the face of the female. She was one… she was one of those at the bar that night. His eyes slowly widened and he shoved as far away from her as possible, whimpering lightly. He closed his eyes tight and tried to forget what he remembered of that night, and what had happened afterword. The male ached from moving so fast but it was worth it to be away from the girl that he hardly knew.
Aidan’s eyes widened, realizing what had happened. He quickly walked over to talk to his brother in hope that it would help him understand. “Kieran this is Hikari, she’s my girlfriend, I do hope you understand we are only trying to cheer you up… We completely forgot…” He sighed audibly as his brother whimpered louder and stepped back with his hands in the air. “Fine, fine.”

Hikari's smile quickly turned to a look of dismay and sadness. She had also forgotten the events that had led up to her and Aidan finding Kieran. She stepped back and hid behind Aidan. "Sorry Kieran..." she sighed. This was her fault, she'd insisted on this and all she had done was upset Kieran, not what she had planned for.
"Sorry Aidan." she said and slunk out of the room. She wanted to try, she should have tried to impose on Kieran like that. And now he was stressed out, and worked up when he needed to be resting and staying calm. So much for that. Ishtar would have killed her for what she had just done.
"You idiot, dolt..." she cursed herself under her breath, slapping the palm of her hand to her forehead.

Aidan strode after Hikari and quickly caught up. “Oh shut the hell up, it was my fault, I’m his brother and I know him better than anyone. I should have seen this coming. I love you and that’s all that freaking matters right now, he will get over it.” The male stood in front of the female and tipped her chin up to look him in the eyes. “I never want to hear you talk like that about yourself again, you understand me?” Lightly he pressed his lips to hers, not waiting for an agreement or argument. He pulled back, looked her in the eyes and spun around, going back to their room.
The males mood was shot, hearing his love put herself down, so he sat at his makeshift desk with a serious look on his face, deciding to make a list of all those in his territory and their role. He had no clue whether or not his brother would remain in his territory or not, but he put him down anyway, only moving to look up if Hikari was to come into the room.

Hikari watched him walk away, biting her own lip. This day just not on either of their sides was it? She ran her fingers through her bangs and stared at their calico colors for a moment before slipping into the room. It was impossible to mask her footsteps with the stiletto boots but she tried her best, heels echoing on the floor anyways. She settled herself behind Aidan, wrapping her arms around his shoulders, whispering in his ear.
"Hey Tiger, how about 'take-out' a little later, I hear the new shipments are due to come in tonight." she purred, hoping that maybe getting him out of the old store would do him some good, he could use a light-hearted adventure to lift his mood. She kissed his cheek and lifted her weight off his shoulder and swung around to sit on his lap, pushing his attention away from his list.
Her green eyes boring into his green and gold flecked eyes. "What do ya say?" she asked in a purr.

Adian closed his eyes and sighed inwardly, damn females, always so moody. “… If you want to.” He mumbled barely looking at her through half closed lids. He could easily put a guard on Kieran, but the idea of leaving his brother even if it was for a moment made him nervous, but even he almighty Aidan needed a break once in a while.
This was all so confusing, love, death, hell even the idea of it being confusing was confusing. What the hell did he think was going to happen? Nothing really lasts till happily ever after and yet he had this childish notation that if he admitted to his feelings everything would be ok, but now it was just confusing! If she thought badly of herself what was it to him!? Why did it make him upset, like she was talking of him or something. The male banged his fist on the desk frustrated, not sure who exactly he was mad at. After a bit of clenching his fists he looked up at her, keeping his sullen expression.
“…sorry… suppose sometimes thoughts are worse than actually talking.”

Hikari pouted at him a little, this wasn't healthy for him at all. "Aidan, this isn't good for you to keep holing yourself up in here. I know it's hard for you to really leave and feel okay with it, you hate leaving because you feel like you're doing something wrong. But you need some fresh air baby." she said playing with his hair a little.
Hikari startled when he slammed his fist on the desk giving a soft hiss in her surprise. She sighed getting off his lap. "Come on Love, lets get out of here for a little bit. Help clear your mind even if it's just for a little while. You need it Baby." she urged softly, tugging at his arm a little. "I'll go get changed and we can go have a nice dinner OUT of this store." she said letting go and leaving him to get dressed, like it or not she was going to get him out into some fresh air for the night. He needed it, and so did she.

Aidan nodded quietly, running a hand though his hair and watching her saunter off, not that she had much choice being in five inch stilettos. Someone else could look after Kieran for a while… but what if his brother asked for him? He would feel horrible to hear that knowing that this was entirely his fault. Hikari had to be right, being kept up inside for the past god knows how long was unhealthy… he shouldn’t be confined, that’s why he rose up in the power levels, living under someone, being contained was his worst fear.
“I suppose I could put Oliver and Mir on duty.” The male stood and stretched, pulling on the muscles that had been too tense for too long. Wincing inwardly Aidan stood and went to the makeshift closet in the room. Pulling out a tank top he covered his body and looked out a small window close to the ceiling… the sun was just dying on the horizon… perhaps it would allow him to adjust his eyes better, knowing that he felt better… nothing was worse than a serious migraine on a day you didn’t want to do anything.

Hikari trotted back Pulling at the straps of a bright green tanktop that clung to her shape just passed her small bob of a tail. Largely baggy black pants adorned with chains clinking with ever step and a pair of hightops, bright purple in color the rubber soles doodled over with markers a hundred times over and faded again. She pulled up her hair into a loose messy look bun and smiled at Aidan. "Does this look okay?" she asked wrinkling her nose. She liked the outfit, it was just her sort of thing, she couldn't always wear skirt and dresses.
She turned herself in a small circle so Aidan could see the entire outfit. Her green eye peeked out smiling at Aidan under her calico bangs. "So what should we put on the menu tonight? Toro, Inari Rolls, Tempura shrimp?" she asked grinning. All of them sounded so good, choosing was the hard part, unless they tried to eat a little of everything. She looked out the window to the setting sun. "Full moon just passed you know, the moon is Waning, but it should still be really pretty tonight."

Aidan watched her with his arms folded tightly across his chest. “You look lovely as always, I prefer a bit of leg, but you can’t always go out like that. As to what to eat… it’s your idea… you decide.” The Siberian stuck out his chin defiantly, daring her to argue. He was not one to decide things as simple as dinner or a outfit… he did better with people coming at him with bats and sudden choices… not ones as insignificant about where or what one should eat. Shamefully he thought to himself that it was always lovely outside, no matter if there was a moon or not. In all actuality he preferred the night to day, it made him feel safer even though his brother had tried, and failed at his own murder in the twinkle of the stars. Really after that night the moon made him feel eerily jittery whatever that meant. The Siberian brushed his now long-ish hair from his face, and prayed. ‘Please, please. Don’t make me ruin this and make it extremely awkward for both of us?’

Hikari smiled, "Yeah, can't get everything little thing we want now can we?" she laughed. She make a face looking up at hr bangs, stuck in though. "Well, I say we'll see when we get out to the market." she said with a shrug that more rather her pushing her shoulder forward, trying to make herself look cute. Not that she needed to try as far as she was concerned.
She grabbed Aidan's arm and turned around holding it over her shoulder and lead him out of the room and out of the of store into the warm night. She could already hear the trucks arriving with the fresh meats and wares, the men yelling back and forth and the load clangs of their dollies that took the crates of their delivery on and off the trucks. The beginning of the month, always had the best stuff. "We'll have to bring some stuff back with up, stuck up a little on the things that can sit for a while without needing to be cold." she said thinking out loud, she was always one to think ahead, or at least try to.

Aidan grunted and followed her lead. She deserved a bit of indulgence, the female ran the things he wouldn’t touch with such accuracy she should be paid. Would he have thought about restocking… the answer was more then likely not until he had tried to find food and came to a blank cabinet. The male chewed on his bottom lip and thought about how everything would turn out… would Kieran be truly sane once more? Or would a stranger take over the body of a brother he once didn’t even have to communicate with to understand.
“So am I going to have a war on my hands about you leaving that territory for mine?” trying his best to make conversation he noted that he was far to wrapped up in his work, perhaps it was his getaway from real life, perhaps he just was the type of guy that had to be working… who really knew. Without knowing it he was rubbing little circles on Hikari’s hand aimlessly… a recent habit… along with the lip biting. To think, even Kieran had a hand on that, with his nervous running his hand through his hair and giving a lop sided smile… gods he missed his brother.

Hikari laughed a little, giving Aidan's hand a squeeze. "Oh goodness no! More than likely Ammy and Siam will be our allies for life." she smiled feeling Aidan's finger rubbing those small circles on her hand. The poor guy, she knew he needed a break from being so stuck inside, from worrying about his brother. "Babe, seriously, I think Kieran will be okay. He just needs time to heal is all. It's not easy to get over things like what happened." she said pouting at Aidan a little.
"Tonight is a night to enjoy life and be happy. Come on, I'll even play a game with you when we get back." she giggled leading him fully out of the old bookstore. The night air was cool and muggy, crickets chirped all around from the bushes, hidden away singing their seductive melody of the night.
"See it's so pretty out here tonight, even the stars are out!" she said pointing up at the sky and the full moon rising overhead. "It's the perfect night to be out." she purred pressing her hip against him and then pulling him towards the loading docks of the trucks spewing out their masses of supplies.

Aidan grunted and looked up at the sky, the stars had never really fascinated him, they were beautiful, but they never changed. He never really understood how people called them mysterious, all they really did was twinkle. Aidan was in one of those moods… where nothing was beautiful and everything was disgusting. The air felt to heavy to him and the crickets were giving him a headache, perhaps from being inside for so long, but he followed his persistent Hikari loyally.
The humans didn’t even notice the two cats wandering around their trucks almost aimlessly, cats were far too common in the area for them to care much. Sometimes one of the older guys would slip them some food, but that was only every so often. “I’ll do whatever makes you happy, but don’t expect me to enjoy it.” He sighed heavily and glared about him, at the idiotic humans and their banging and horrid noises that disturb everyone’s sleeping. Aidan was tired… and felt old to the bone.
