Kelebek pokes her head out of the water. Oh. They'd carried her off on land, and she'd been chasing an anchored pirate ship. Sigh. This was just like her. Awkwardly she swims back toward the island, just in time to hear the humanoid insect's announcement. She could still help!
Kelebek picks a direction and charges! She manages to only trip a few times due to her excitement, nervousness, and land legs.

Dae whimpered when she saw where she had ended up. The beach was back... Eyeing it warily, she backed away back into the brush slowly. When she was sure the waves couldn't see her, she turned and ran.
Well, hobbled fast, considering her miserable condition.

Carter left the celebration quietly, looking left and right before settling on a direction to go in. He was still new to the island so he wasn't sure how much he could help, being unfamiliiar with all of the locations, but the more ground that was covered the better right?
He looked down to the floor as he walked, both because he was a little clumsy and because he was looking for any signs of a clue. Dropped jewlery, foot steps, broken twigs or something of the sort. His pace was brisk, despite the occasional stumble. He hoped no harm came to the poor Hula girl...

(( entering for the lulz, since I am not after prizes ... and I am judging, so it'd be unfair. I just want to play. razz ))
Setting her drink on the table, already slightly tipsy, but still coherent, the pink fae Dizzy decided to do her part to help the innocent hula girl from becoming a pirate. Cuz that's what pirates did right? Sort of like vampires ... take innocent victims to become one of them?
Okay so she didn't really believe that, she was just convincing herself so she wouldn't worry herself sick over this girl.
"Alright, I wonder where they went." Dizzy started heading out towards the edge of the festivities to look for footprints.

The wild pink and blue demon had been watching things from the trees. She'd seen the handsome pirate-things steal the annoying dancing thing that was wearing plants and was more than intrigued. She liked the look (and smell) of those grungy pirates and wanted to follow them to see what they were gonna do the with the dancy girl.
Maybe they were gonna cook her over a big hole like the annoying bug things did to the pig in the center of that party?
Dagen was excited and wanted to see!

Saffron had only recently discovered the party and apparently just in time to watch things descend into chaos. Wonderful.
Still, he couldn't just stand by and watch when an innocent might be hurt. That poor girl.
He surveyed the area, tracking some of the remaining pirates, while trying to determine where the others had gone. Then, tucking his wings close to his back, he set out in the direction he thought he'd last seen the pirates with the girl.

Carter stumbled along, singing silly songs about anything he saw. He heard laughter and chatter and he hurried along. " AHA!" he said, though his face fell when he realized that everyone was staring at him...and this..was not the pirates hide out...it was the luau...
Everyone's staring lingered for a moment before they went back to what ever they were doing. Carter sighed and went towards the beach to wash off. All of that for nothing, just to end up back at the starting line...He needed more drinks...A LOT more drinks....

Amadorine tugged on Seth's staff as the child's hooved feet moved quickly. "C'mooooon daddy! We can't let them get away! You're so slow!" She then turned and started tugging him with both hands, moving herself backwards to pull him more.
Seth was being dragged along, that was for certain, but what for? Because his adopted daughter had seen the pirates and wanted their autographs of all things. AUTOGRAPHS, could you believe it?! Sighing heavily, he reached down and picked the faun up, who began to squirm instantly. "Ama, listen to me, darling. These pirates are not to be taken lightly. I'll get their autographs for you, but you have to promise me that you'll stay hidden when we find them, ok sweety?"
Amadorine's ears drooped. "Ok...... But we go where I say we go, ok? And I say we go THAT way!" She grinned and pointed off into a direction.

Stacia hadn't the slightest idea where to start. Her heart was racing and everyone around her seemed to be in a panic. In the same breath, however, there were still people celebrating. It all seemed quite absurd to Stacia. Who could continue a celebration when someone just went missing?
Stacia spotted the faes and could see they were looking for people to help search. Stacia wasn't pressed for time so she approached the faes.
"I want to help."

Stacia's went wide. So this was the laughing she heard? The beach?
Stacia found herself a drink and swallowed the drink quickly without even thinking. Perhaps if her senses were knocked around a bit then her choices would end up working out.
Stacia had been sitting for about ten minutes after her drink. As she stood, the rush of booze hit her and she wobbled. Yes, this was definitely a wise choice.
Off she went again, staggering and smelling like cheap rum.

Well, no one could accuse her of not trying. She considered that since she was already drunk that she'd go back and enjoy herself on the beach. Perhaps one of the others would come back with more success and a bit more sober.
Stacia sank into her spot with her nice little beverage. She had officially given up, there was one last search group. She stood, leaning against a relatively attractive man he supported her and helped her walk.
She wasn't sure where they were going, but she wasn't complaining at all.

Carter lingered at the luau for some time, even taking a rest. He washed off all he gook and mud that he fell into in the marsh and sighed. He felt like he could still try and find the hula girl, so with being all clean and rested he set out on a new path.

She had great timing, Ru decided, the best in all the world. Either she was a bad luck charm for the island, or her luck returned in the negative. She had gone to the island to check on her adopted children and see if she could find any of her old friends, like Ala. What happens one might ask if they hadn't been paying attention or got lost on her winding train of 'thought', the party gets crashed right as she arrived!
No way she could stand by and let a fae be kidnapped like that, no telling what those grubby pirates might do to her! Setting off on her own, not even actively making her self known, she forsaked the party for the fae. Heavens help her if the fae is like Mory, hells spare her if Morena knew she referred to her as Mory.
