I thought this might've been about band nerds hating band, but I was wrong! People who hate you for being in it are lowlifes that usually aren't doing anything with their lives, or jerks. Band people are supposed to be nice people and smart as well, so they're jealous of your position. They know you've got a talent, a gift that they don't.
