...Yeeees, that shifting was very nice. R'than felt Garith feel mildly jealous; it was about time a mature green rose so that he could fly her. Humans had it rather easy on this score.

"Good," R'than said after a moment or two, ignoring his dragon twisting his head around to smile at Uuni, "I found it got a lot easier really quite swiftly, hopefully you will find the same. It is frightening at first, but I think most folk quite soon come to see that flying is one of the most exciting, enjoyable experiences Pern has to offer us. Hold tight again, getting ready to land now. He's going to come in slowly, so there shouldn't be too much of a bump."

Garith was as good as he had promise, he had shed almost all speed by the time they reached the ledge, and he was almost able to simply step onto the ledge rather than thumping down. Giving another soft rumble, the brown tucked his wings away. "Please tell Uuni that I hope she found the flight comfortable," he added to his rider as he crouched to allow his passengers to dismount.

R'than nodded; "Garith says that he hopes the fly up here was alright for you," he passed on. "I hope so too," he added with a smile as he stepped down onto the ledge, and extended a hand to help Uuni back onto solid ground.

Uuni's smile in turn was a bit amused. What was that little speech? Had he made a little one like that when she'd first gotten here? It sounded almost practiced.

In lieu of the landing, she had not the mind to ask. But even that wasn't as bad as she'd expected it to be. It was certainly as good as could have been managed under the circumstances.

"It was lovely, thank you," she answered knowing both dragon and rider could understand her.

He certainly was practiced with this whole dismounting thing. It showed such wonderful promise, and she took his hand with one of those characteristic hinting smiles of hers.

Now her heart was beating for quite a different reason, and no, it wasn't one of those stupid girly crush reasons. The idea made her gag.

"So, show me around, brownrider," she encouraged with a wink and let her fingers slide on his as she finally let go of his hand.

R'than gave her a small smile in return and stepped inside the weyr. "Of course, with pleasure." Thankfully Z'ven wasn't in, and his belongings weren't scattered all over the place either for once; most fortuitous indeed. "This is it," he said, indicating the cavern with a sweeping gesture of one arm. "Small as weyrs go, but much nicer than what you must be putting up with. I only have to share with the one person and, ah, he seems not to be around just now. I expect he is off bathing his dragon, she can be very demanding of his time. He probably won't return for a good few candlemarks at least." Provided he was asked not to in any case. "Garith?"

"I shall speak to Tiarenth," the brown replied with a mental nod, "in fact I shall go to the lake and see if they are there. Call me if you need anything, Mine." After giving a nod of his head to Uuni, Garith spread his wings once more and stepped off the ledge.

This. . . was better than she expected. Her eyes scanned the area as she stepped a little farther inside. It took a little while for her eyes to adjust.

And yes it was nicer than what she had to deal with. It was clean, it had a fairly expansive place to sleep, and. . . yep, it was just the two of them. Funny that she knew Z'ven. She'd had breakfast with him not too long ago.

When the dragon left, her mood shifted.

Not too dramatically, but enough. Where her movements had been subtle before, now they were fairly obvious when she shifted to a slightly more submissive stance and looked back at him.

"Have you put that bed to use in a while?" she asked with a slightly growing smirk. Bunt? Yes. It was so much easier than playing all of those stupid games.

R'than chuckled and raised his eyebrows. "Other than for sleeping in? Not for a few sevendays, as I say I've been rather too busy with my duties to fit in much... recreation. Now however, it seems I have some time to do whatever I wish." A very very small part of R'than that was very very crass substituted 'whatever' for 'whoever' and snickered. The rest of R'than disapproved of such a phrasing, but agreed with the basic sentiment.

"It's really quite comfortable," R'than went on after only a moment's pause, "would you care to try it out?" Everybody needed to unwind somehow after all, and Exercise was one of the best ways to get rid of stress that existed.

Uuni watched him and waited. He could have his little witty speeches as long as the end result was the same.

"Really?" she added, playing the game and walking the distance to go behind him. She stood on her toes to look over his shoulder and put her arms over his shoulders to lightly hoist herself to a better view.

"I'd love to," she answered against the curve of his ear and took the flesh into her mouth to tug gently. "You're going to have to show me the most comfortable spot, though."

Her following laughter was light and breathy, but hardly gave out much in the way of sound. This would be a wonderful wrap to one of her best dinners here in a long while most certainly.

And hell, if Z'ven showed up a little earlier than anticipated, who was she to complain? They always said two was better than one, right?
