Tezza, having managed to get herself into a sitting position by then laughed " I never thought of trying it that way." You were probably less likely to fall and hurt yourself and Tezza knew a lot about falling even with the natural balance she seemed to have

The braided girl looked thoughtful for a moment before shaking her head" No thanks." Nah, she had her own way of climbing and now that she'd reached the first low branch it was easy..well sort of to reach for another, to find something akin to footholds in the bark. Fierce independence made Tezza want to stick to the ways she was used to doing things even if there might be an easier option. " It's cool to know though for if you had to climb something without branches." Maybe a telephone poll or something like that.

Tezza peered over her should and her ribbon bound wings for a moment then shook her head " Nope, they're pretty small and my beds really comfy" The fingered the end of a braid for a second " It can sometimes on really flat spots on the group though." Though it was more discomfort than any real pain though. The girl spread her wings as far as the ribbon binding them would allow " I can't use them to fly though becuase the ribbon doesn't come out." It shifted enough to let to her clean them but it never came out and the wings themselves didn't appear to grow larger with her.

" Why did you headbutt him?" Why headbutt anyone, heads were pretty easily hurt as far as Tezza knew, then you got concussions and internal bleeding in your head and you died.

Tezza supposed having a hard head would be reason to use it in such a manner since you didn't have to worry about getting hurt, although clearly that hadn't been the case for Jordan. " I see." The braided girl was rather glad Wren wasn't a pesky little brother, at least not yet anyways.

" I don't know what I am" Tezza admitted " but I'm good at climbing" To demonstrate this she stood on the branch and reached towards the next highest one. The girl wished she were a bit taller but at least she wasn't nearly as short as the dwarf girl, then most climbing would be impossible.

Regardless of height though she always found a way, this time shifting near to to the trunk of the trees and scaling up it's rough bark, making for excellent hand and foot holds, till she got herself onto the next big sturdy branch. As far as she was concerned Tezza was born to climb be it trees, mountain hiking trails or the fire ladder on the buildings of the CDL grounds.

The urge to struggle to get higher drove the independent child forward more than anything else in the world. on the other hand the rush of exhilaration she got from a successful one drove away any problems she ever felt she was facing, whether or not that was a good thing.

" What are dwarfs good at?" she asked peering down at the brunette.

For a second Tezza had imagined trains growing beards then shook her head at such a silly thought. It sounded like Dwarves were good at a lot of things and Jordan was probably going be really neat when she grew up if she learned to do all that stuff. " Does your Ma teach you any of it yet?"

" Yep" Tezza nodded " I learned how to climb and stuff by myself becuase she doesn't like that sort of thing but she taught me to read and write." Equally important as far as she was concerned since she used both sets of skills rather frequently. Swinging her legs a little the purple haired girl turned her head for a moment so she could peer through the branches and look at her mother. " She's really cool and has earrings that jingle" It was a weird thing to say perhaps but it was one of the things Tezza thought really stood out about the angel woman who was raising her.

An Axe! Seriously? Ok well that was pretty cool Tezza had to admit, she might have any use for such a weapon but to be trusted with one , even a child version was a pretty big deal. Jordan was clearly very mature for her age, she'd already shown herself to be rather smart. " Do you look forward to fighting?" Who would she even fight to begin with?
