Well, she just about answered all of his questions about the issue. Without even knowing he had had them. It certainly made it easier to agree to, she was having trouble teleporting, didn't want to fly and was trying to be social. All perfectly acceptable reasons. Uhai could understand the value in being social, sometimes a predator needed a partner (or many) to succeed. It was a principle he was willing to apply to his life, perhaps a reason he should get out and be a bit more social himself. But that wasn't necessary now.
"Well, I'd be happy to walk with you," he said brightly, happy having realized a whole other reason to be social and easy-going, "Lead the way."

She bobbed her head and continued in the direction of home, she sort of wanted Mtima'safi to be there, to meet him right away and see what was wrong with him...even if he himself did not know. Was she right to meddle with his memory? What if he had absolutely no desire to remember his own past?
"Do you ever appear as a mortal?" she asked, making small talk. She wondered about why gods would do this, her mother had done this, it just seemed...weird.."I don't all together see a reason for it?"

When she indicated the direction, he started off in that direction. He stopped worrying about the value of being social and the slight awkwardness in the situation and went with being conversational when she started some small talk.
"A mortal?" he repeated but quickly shook his head, "Nah I don't see any use for it, either. You'd be more intimidating as a god, right? Good for keeping others off your back. Why would you do it? Why d'you ask?"

"I don't know, it was something I was thinking of," she gave the lion equivalent of a shrug and continued walking. She hadn't thought it was that odd of a question.
"What if you didn't want to seem intimating? Couldn't you glamor yourself as a zebra to hunt?" she mused out loud, "Sorry, my brain just brought it up. I don't like to appear as a mortal, I like my wings."
Dalila slowed her pace, had she asked something weird? She looked away from him toward the direction of home.

"Hmmmmm," Uhai thought about the very interesting question Dalila posed. Could he make himself look like a zebra? It would be a good way to get close to a group of zebras. He had never tried something like that, he had found he had other ways to do things but he had never tried something so.. obvious.
"Maybe, I don't know, I never tried," he said finally, sounding like he very much would like to try it now.

"It would ruin the actual hunting process, perhaps it isn't such a good idea."
Dalila looked off into the distance speaking of bad ideas, she decided perhaps she should not be meddling in his memories. She wished sometimes she didn't remember some of the past. If it was meant to be, it was meant to be.
"Umm.." She couldn't think of anything else to say so fell silent.
"You know..I think this is far enough, I think I can see my mom" she lied, she couldn't see the yellow goddess, "...t-thank you for walking me this far," tilted her head toward a shape in the distance.
She'd babbled and asked enough questions, at least she had something to talk to Mtima about.

"Still worth a try," Uhai said with a shrug and a toothy grin. He did so enjoy the chase and the challenge, but if he could cheat anyway, why not test another method? It struck him that perhaps it was something Pala might be able to do but not him, which only really annoyed him and made it want to try it more. He wasn't paying enough attention to their surroundings and stumbled when indicated that this was far enough. He looked around for some sign of Dal's mother but wasn't too concerned when he couldn't see anything. If she could tell, that was good enough for him. He wasn't her guardian.
"No problem," he responded brightly, "Thanks for the idea."
Maybe he could go off and test it, now. He flashed his fangs cheerily one more time and turned to go and see what he could make of the looking more like a preybeast. It could be fun!

"Good luck hunting, Uhai..not that you need any," She spoke cheerfully and trotted in the direction her 'mother' was staying. She wanted to speak to Mtima, to go to the god's haven, and to ask her mother what to do in this situation. She wanted Uhai to remember, but was so terrified that he would not be able to. If anyone could help it was Mtima, that's what mom's are for. Now..the issues was..did she have a right to restore his memories?
"I hope he wants to remember me," she thought and hurried her pace into some tall grasses.
