Tamba almost gasped at the female's question.
"Heavens no! We're not some kind of dictatorship, where our pride members must be guarded or herded, but like any pride that is thriving and growing, we have important things that must be protected, like the youngsters for instance. They would know how to react to every stranger who passes by."
He then turned to the male again.
"Well, what more would you like to know?" he smiled.

Ekundu smiled. "I didn't mean anything by those words." She padded over and sat next to the lion. "Well, who looks after the young ones? I'm sure I know it's females, but still, I'd like to know more about the ranks in the prides. Are there medicinal healers, and are there 'nanny' figures, if I may call them that?"
She eyed Bl'Arza, smiling, that heart warming and even heart melting smile she gave. She turned her head towards the ocean. "I think we finally might have found a place to call home.." She let the words escape her mouth, her paws kneading the ground. She turned to the other lion, and awaited his reply.

Bl'arza nodded. "Yeah, ranks would be wonderful to hear about." From what he'd heard, Bl'arza was feeling his heart attach to the pride already. It seemed so safe, and Ekundu seemed excited.
His heart skipped as she smiled and he returned it happily. After all that had happened, he'd be glad to see her with a place she could stay. He'd stay by her side for as long as he could, as well, and he hoped that was a very, very long time.
