I'm not to comfortable with yoai and yuri, because I've no experience.

Hey, I'm AnimeOtaku96 [duh,] but you can call me Nick, because that's what people call me on my other account. I'm very familiar with roleplaying, even if I've only been doing it for about a year now. I'm looking for a long-term relationship role-playing partner.
Things that I am great with:
+ Almost any RP. [I'm always willing to try something new.] + I'm [very] okay with romance, just as long as it stays in the RP. However, under no circumstances will I allow romance be the main part of the role play, it's good for the slow spots in the RP, but it should be mostly action if you want to keep me interested. + I enjoy creating story-lines and my own characters. [If you can't make your own characters, I'm out.] + I prefer semi-lit RPs, simply because I can't tolerate 133t speak, and I'm incapable of those incredibly long posts called literate role-playing. + Occasional, minor mistakes in grammar and spelling are okay; no-one is perfect. + PMs vs. Forums... I'm good with either, although I prefer forums. + I'll be happy with a 1-2 paragraph post. But when I say a paragraph, I'm talking 5-7 sentences. The occasional one-liner is alright. + I can role-play as either gender, although I prefer to RP as a guy. + Detailed description of the characters. + Anything PG13, but if it's rated "M" for blood and gore, I'm fine with it.
Things that won't work for me:
- RPs without a plot or story-line. - Cybering [this is an absolute, even if I didn't have a girl-friend, I wouldn't be a part of that kind of role-playing. Sex is okay, just time-skip.] - I don't particularly like doing RPs about anime, but that's only because people aren't creative about their characters; they just take whoever from the show. [Example: "I am Naruto!" or "I call LeLouche Lamprouge!!!"] - Starting in a role-play that is already 50+ pages long. [I just don't know how to intergrate with the other RPCs after that point.
Things I will do [indifferent]:
* Yuri or Hetro role-plays * OoC about things other than the role-play. [I'd rather not, but I'll probably be the first to start with "((So, how was your day?))" * Starting from the begining of a RP or within the first 1-20 pages. * HUGE Role-Plays, and I'm talking 20+ role-players and numerous RPC/NPCs. * Swearing. We all do it sometimes, just please try to keep it to a minimum and in the speech of the character, I don't like seeing, "Joey picks up a ******** hammer and throws it at Marcus' head."

Hello Everyone! Okay I'm very new to Gaia and very new to RPing. However, don't be intimidated by that inexperience. I am very creative and have written several stories of my own and created many characters. I love creating plots and characters (especially with complex personalities and history). I have an interest in doing hetero or girlwgirl RPing. I would mostly prefer fantasy romance and action stories (with lots of twists and fun stuff teehee). I would appreciate minimal oneliners and at least post accouple times a week. If interested just PM me and we can start working on a plot and such (as well as getting to know each others interests with roleplaying a bit more). So yea let me know! heart

Hi! I've only ever been in one rp online and it hasn't been very fun, I would like to find some one who knows what they're doing and will help me along, I'll roleplay just about anything but I prefer original roleplays and yaoi makes me giggle teehee.
I am a semi-lite roleplayer, I might give one liners but I try not too. My spelling might be off, but other wise I try to stick with one tense and tend to use grammar. Feel free to pm me at anytime, if I'm not on I'm either reading, eating or sleeping and will probably check soon.

I write a paragraph+ per reply and would greatly appreciate the same.
I understand one liners every now and then, but every other line never gets the story moving.
Love long term partners, unless we can bring a short one to a real end.

Hiya! I'm Karin~ (most of my characters will be Karin - what can I say? I'm original. Or not.) I'd like to think I'm at least semi-literate?
I'm totally new to role playing in gaia, so if you could help me learn, then I'll love you forever!
I like:
-Humans
-Real-life scenarios
-Other races (as long as I clearly know what they are and what they do.)
-Paragraphs (at least one, because I'd have no idea how to respond if it were less!)
-Either PM's or a thread
-Different and new things (I've pretty much only role played in high school, harry potter, and naruto genres. So... I'm not all too picky. I'm up for pretty much anything, so just suggest it and we'll probably do that!)
I dislike:
-Nekos (I like humans with cat-like appearances, anthromorphs, etcetera... But... just not the name 'neko'. It's Japanese, and I'm pretty sure I speak English.)
-Mature content (I'm alright with hugging/kissing and such... but be aware that I am quite amateur at it.)
-Godmodding

So, I'm sort of looking for a new partner. I have one permanent partner that I post with all the time, but I'm looking for something new as well. I know my partner too well, and while that is helpful when posting, I would like someone I don't know, someone to give me a different perspective of things. I'm not looking for a one time partner, but a long term one. However, I am quite strict and picky as to who I am willing to RP with.
Here are few of my requirements:
Must Be Open to New Ideas
I love new ideas, and I have ton of them. However, some of them aren't always great. I expect you to participate in forming them, and to come up with some of your own. I bore easily, so I need new ideas a lot.
Get to Know Each Other
I feel I RP better with someone I get along with. I'm not asking you to call me or invite me to your house parties. I would just like to know things about you that make you, well, you. I want to get to know you as yourself, and not just as an RPer. Of course, you will be expected to do the same. I will answer almost any questions you have about me.
Literacy
No one is perfect, and we all makes mistakes. I will not hound you about minor misspellings. However, I expect at least three to four well written paragraphs. Quality is not always quantity, but you cannot expect to get anything good out of a few measly sentences. I will give you what I ask, never less, but sometimes more.
That's pretty much it for requirements. I will do almost anything as a plot. The only fanfic I will ever do is Anita Blake, but I never do canon. I do group and private. I will post in a thread, PMs, or even on another site.

Ok since I am having another slow day here on Gaia, and I don't exactly feel like doing a few of the things I need to actually do, I will make a post here.
Characters
For starters I have not done many one on one RPs, but I am open to start more. I am also game for pretty much any type of RP, if it is a fandom you will try to do some convincing, and if it is over something I have not done before I will let you know that I need some details. Along with that Canons I believe are a no-go for me. You can do them if you want, but if you ask me then you will be promptly ignored until you actually pique my interest.
Plot
I am usually very creative. Though I have been going through some very rough spots in life and I have been overextending my brain to come up with new things. So if possible come up with the plot, but if there is a few details left I can help iron them out. All I am asking for is a skeleton to work off of.
Length
I have not been known to do anything longer than a few sentences, except for my first posts into an RP when I am introducing my character. This is only because I have not put that much thought in afterwards, which is something I need to start working on. So if you are willing to be patient and help me if you would like more I can certainly learn.
Time
I am usually on from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday CST. I am in college so expect there to be times in there when Gaia will say I am on, but I might not reply. I only have Gaia up so I can check things every now and then while I work. Also I might be on past five sometimes, it just depends right now on when I have to leave for home. And also I have no Internet while I am at home, so that means no weekend Gaia visits or any staying up till midnight making replies.
Grammar
Now then this will be short. No text talk please, you can do that in OOC. I rarely use it except for brb. I please request that you can decently spell, I am quite adept at figuring out what people mean usually and I am sure I misspell a few words. Be sure to use capatilazition, puncation, and for any talking use quotes. With thoughts use either italics or bold. I am not too keen on bold, but I have seen it done and I am sure a few people think it is easier. I will be using italics for thoughts. Back to OOC, we can do this in another thread, PM, use (( )), [[ ]], {{ }}, or anything else. Just please differentiate it from the IC.
Now I believe that wraps everything up, but if anything else comes to mind I will be sure to edit this post.undefined

Hello, i am currently searching for a one on one roleplaying partner.
I am fine with fourms, but prefer Pms.
I am on at least once a day for a few hours.
The following is a list of things i will do:
More or less any fantasy, historical, school(As long as it's entertaining.) and others, but those will probably require some convincing.
Here is a list of things i won't do: Anything beyond light romance, and i prefer to keep Rp's in pre-established worlds, but will try it.
I am fairly literate, and will write a minimum of three sentences unless sick or very tired.
I would prefer if there were no L337 speak, it's simply annoying.
Punctuation spelling and grammar are always good, but make sure you don't have a nothing post, like: "Tim smiled some at his friends remark, while continuing to eat and drink." All that says is: "Tim smiled" if you are delving into a thought process, that's fine.
If you are planning on having an OC: Oc's are very acceptable, but it would be advised to not make it a self insert. For every OC you bring in, I may bring in one of equal plot relevance.

Hello all, you may call me Akira or Akane. I go by both. As you can see, I'm interested in role playing (have been for years). So here are some rules I go by:
Rules:
-NO MARY/GARY SUES
-I do not require you to use pictures. I don't really like how the picture posting thing on Gaia is. But if you insist, I might need help finding a picture that will show up.
-If we are doing an original rp, I don't mind out crushes being each other's OCs. But if we do start and rp with any anime, game, etc, it'll be different. I only do Cannon/OC for each of our characters.
Example: Say we do Full Metal Alchemist, it would be Who ever I pick as my crush/My OC and Who ever you pick as your crush/Your OC. I will not do it where one of us only plays a cannon character and only one of us is the OC. I also don't really like doing Cannon/Cannon.
-I rp one-on-one in PMs, but if it has to be a thread, you'll have to make it for us.
-Please use good spelling and grammar. I know that it won't be perfect and that's okay. But use comas and periods and such.
-If I don't reply right away, I might be trying to think of ideas or might be busy. Normally if I haven't replied in at least two hours, then I haven't gotten it or I have a lot of rps to reply to.
-Don't play my character for me (it has happened before). Don't say where they are or what they are doing because you don't really know.
-I do third person, paragraph rps. I don't do script.
-I don't really mind if it's only a few lines. But if I send you a long reply and you don't send me much back, then I'll most likely get ticked a little bit. NO ONE LINERS!
-I don't mind doing AU with stuff either, so tell me if you want something like that.
-I see this a lot when people offer one-on-one rps. They decide that in everything they let you pick from that their going to get to play the uke in it. That's not the same with me.
Example: Say we do master/slave. I'll play either role depending on which the person who messages me wants to play and what role I'm being made to play to much. Like if in every rp I'm playing the master, I'll decide that I want to be the slave in some too.
