To start a whole game, it´s a big no... to train new pokémon, that´s different... now that I assume you defeat the elite four... Try to find items and pokemon with natures you may want in another pokémons... get a wider inventory, that will definetly help later on

felinoel Oh, see I thought I would have to start over with new pokemon, but someone else told me I wouldn't... As long as your Pokemon aren't level 100, you should be good as far as retraining them. But whether or not they're worthy of being retrained is another matter, which is what I believe Serge is hinting at (the right nature, favorable IVs, ect).

They aren't level hundred yet, they are around seventy, but there is no way I lucked out and got the right natures. Favorable IVs? >.> Sigh, what is this? I thought IVs were like EVs...

IVs, or Individual Values, are stats a pokemon is born with. It is a random number ranging from 0-31. Each stat gets one. These cannot be alternated once the pokemon is hatched/caught, so you just have to be lucky to get good IVs.
EVs, or Effort Values, are obtained by defeating certain pokemon. Each pokemon gets a total of 510, with each stat maxing at 255 EVs.
I think I told you all this already. neutral

Keep in mind though, IVs are hidden stats and without checking them through an IV Battle, you won't be able to know what IVs a certain Pokemon has. Sure, the characteristic (Hates to Lose, Somewhat Vain, etc) gives you a general idea of your highest IV stat, but overall, they can only be check through IV Battles + IV Calculator.

Lv 100s can be reEV trained all you need to do is give them anti-EV berries then just EV train again. The stats should stay the same, other than HP, when you are done training move the Pokémon into the box and that will reset the stats to the new EVs.

I'm pretty sure that with Pokerus, as long a the Pokemon is put back in your box before the clock rolls to midnight, you should be fine.

The stats should stay the same, other than HP, when you are done training move the Pokémon into the box and that will reset the stats to the new EVs. Wrong. EVs in D/P are connected with experience points and if you cannot gain experience, you cannot re-EV train. I've tried retraining level 100 Pokemon in the past and have learned this fact from personal trial and error. Hollow Revolution Doesn't Pokerus max all stats on the infected pokemon and then drop them down to zero? i have a shiny mew with inactive Pokerus and i walked around with it a bit. idk how long i had it in my team but it doesnt seem that the virus became active again, im pretty sure i had it out for more than 3 days cuz i was tryin to lvl it up >.< Pokerus doesn't max anything out. It just allows you to gain Effort Values at a faster rate. Fox Demon Shippo I'm pretty sure that with Pokerus, as long a the Pokemon is put back in your box before the clock rolls to midnight, you should be fine. Pokerus can heal at any given time, keeping it in the box does in fact keep Pokerus active but being back by midnight isn't a guaranteed sure beat.
