Nia's eyes glinted but she made no comment on the king's response about her denial. Jeez, her have romantic feelings for Abrafo? That stinkin' lion who went off after anything that hinted of female lion? 'Well...maybe Abra's not that bad.' She thought grudgingly before looking back to Thona.
"If I could...I'd want to connect them to me." Nia blinked. Of course she knew about nannies, but she never really thought about one taking her own cubs. Though it would be handy...she wasn't one to sit out on a hunt after all.
"I mean...would you claim them openly, sire? Since I understand that you don't want her to know about anything like this." Nia's claws dug into the dirt as she flexed her paws again. Raising cubs wouldn't be so bad...would it? If they did drive her crazy she could always find a nanny too.
Plus, it wasn't as if she had Ab- Nia shook her head with a growl. How could she even allow his existence to affect her decision? Actually she should go along with this just to get back at that lion! No telling if he had his own spawn after all. She knew he wouldn't dare bring them back with him. Abrafo a father? The thought made the leopard laugh bitterly on the inside before she looked back to Thona with a small grin. "Your offer...since I know it's not a jest-" She paused and nearly sighed before gaining courage, "I might just be interested after all."

"I'd claim them as my own around others, but not her. Everyone understands her delicate being, and won't say a word to her about it." He said with a nod. "Though, You will have to stay with the rest of the Nanny's until they are old enough to be trained. That means, you'll have to do two jobs at once." He told her with a shrug. "But if that's what you wish, I can't deny you the rights to see the cubs."
"Excellent" He spoke with a smile. Oh how he loved when they agreed with his offers. He really did. He didn't show it well though. Just a easy smile upon his spotted evil face. Oh, the planning. The pride did need new cubs anyways, as there weren't many anymore. "Well decide on a day to do this later, I'm sure you'll understand." He spoke.

"I see." Nia shrugged off the small grimace that nearly came at the word nannys. But it would be worth it so she could watch her cubs. Under Nia's watch they would learn to fight and to hunt as young cubs even. "Two jobs? That'll be easy." She grinned at Thona before looking back over towards her den with Abra.
"I understand perfectly." Nia looked back to him and with a nod turned. "I need to get back before that lion does. Til then sire." Her tail flicked as she gracefully leaped down and softly blended in with the darkness of the night.
Nia was going to have her first litter of cubs and they wouldn't be Abra's.

Thona didn't see how this conversation could go on more. It was over, at least on his side. He nodded and told her a time and a day when to meet up later. He grinned at her and then turned around to do his patrols around the pride. Mostly just to get away so he could laugh without her hearing him. Oh! He loved tricking females. He didn't look back towards her. The one thing that didn't occur to him was that this could be his first fully pure bred leopard babies.
