Thona let her paw hit him. For he didn't care if he got her, pain wasn't something he totally felt until the next day or two. He let out another laugh as he landed on the ground a few feet in front of her. "Making this harder on yourself, I see." He laughed again. He lunged at her from the side this time. Claws still with in his paws. He didn't have to use them to hurt her. Which was probably the best part. Though he did want to leave some sort of mark on her. Maybe on her hurt paw. He grinned, and swiped at it with one claw out.

With her wrist hurting, the hit that she struck did little more then scratch the surface and bloody her claws. Tsubame didn't know what unnerved her more, that her strike landed or that he just laughed at her half harted attack. She kept backing up and using her injured paw with claws out, trying to get the leopard to keep his distance, and this time if one of her swipes strike she promised herself that she would dig in regardless of the pain.
He lunged in from the side and she scrambled to get out of the way, swiping with her claws. It was in one of the swipes she was using to keep him at a distance that the leopard's swipe connected. If the male's claw had been retracted like the rest of them he would have just batted her paw away but it was that one claw that made the difference. It scraped across the tender pad's of the bottom of her paw, adding another dimension to her already in pain paw and wrist.
She yowled in pain and anger and despise her wish to trounce this leopard Tsu turned and tried to flee. Trying to run with just three points of balance just wouldn't work for her, she tried it the night before just walking, so with her teeth gritted she used all four legs and ran to the best of her pain filled ability. Her run had a odd limping gate to it since she tried to keep her right paw off the ground for the longest time possible, even with doing this Tsu could feel the dirt and stone being ground into the open cut on the pad of her paw.
Her only hope to get away is her speed but it was hampered with her injures. Tsubame feared that if the leopard caught up to her death would be the best thing she could ask for.

Thona was bored. Very bored of this female already. After hurting her, marking her with his mark, he had lost interest. He had made her run, and he started to chase after her, but only half assed. He slowed after a few moments and just watched her run. He didn't even notice he was slightly bleeding, nothing to leave too much of a scar. Nothing his furr couldn't hide when it was healed.
Thona had a satisfied smile upon his face as he stood there, watching the female run in pain. Oh, that was grand. He loved reminding those happy creatures that not everything in life was good. After she was too far to make out any detail, he turned and moved back towards his pride. A smug evil look upon his face.
