English is my best subject. Math isn't my best. I don't like school, but it's something to do.

Calculus sounds scary. o___o My teacher always had to tell me to calm down whenever I got a B or a low A in math class.

My mother always used to tell me that the A stood for "alright" and the B stood for"blew it". Grades were important in my family, to say the least!

Wow, my family was pretty low stress in comparison. As long as I had a B average no one really cared.

As long as I had at least a 4.0, my parents didn't freak out. Although I thought my mom would die the time I got a D!

I decided summer school was one of the worst experiences of my scholastic career. I had classes in algebra, computers, and history during two separate summers. For algebra , I was stuck in a room with no air conditioning and a teacher who wouldn't stop saying, "Mmmkay" (and no, it wasn't Mr. Mackey). We ended up sweating like pigs, but the teacher didn't want to leave the door open for air flow... In computers, we had AC, but the teacher always thought it was too cold, so she let the hot summer air in... I couldn't win... For history, I was comfortable, but I stopped giving a rat's butt because, well, I honestly don't remember anything from that class other than being required to make up my own history for a project.
I always hated summer break because it made me lazy and gave me an excuse to stay up late. Now I'm an adult (okay, only physically) and I can't break the habit. DX
