biggrin Yes, I cant imagine myself doing anything else with my life. I've been playing flute for six years now and since then picked up a few other instruments along the way lol. I'm sure you do have some creative talent, you just might not have tapped into it yet. Hopefully you'll discover yours soon, i wont lie it takes some experimenting to find something you truly love to do lol

Well, I love writing fanfiction, and I do get positive reviews on the ones I have written so far! So that is good, and I tried playing and instrument (trumpet in middle school) but lost interest after three years =/

So you've got a talent for writing, prehaps one day you'll branch out and write whole novels of your own creation. It takes time and hard work but with practice im sure you could do it biggrin How old are you?

I am currently 18 (as of May this year =D) and I would like to write my own stories. It could be fun, but as of currently I don't have a original idea sweatdrop

I'm 17 as of may this year ^.^ I think writing your own story must be like going on an adventure with the characters. Very exciting but it is hard thinking of where to begin sometimes...

The start is usually the hard part, but I sometimes find a good ending hard to grasp. Mainly because if you mess up and upset your readers they may no longer read anything else you have.

Yeah, it is the fate of a successful author. But that isn't what I want, I want to be a happy person...so my stories end the way I feel happiest with. I learned that from Hideaki Anno (Writer of Evangelion).

Good for you biggrin thats the way i would go about it if i could even get to an ending lol i tried writing once but i couldnt get past a prologue (i kept going back and changing everything xD)

Lol, When I first started writing I didn't bother with a prologue...I sort have started the story thrusted right into the middle of some deep stuff XD XD

Yea, my prologue was kind of a flashback to a memory and then it went straight into the first action scene in the first chapter but... Im my own worst critic lol nothing was ever good enough so i just made it better but then that changed the whole plot xD the domino effect. I gave up, but then again i was in middle school... lol

Well my first was in freshman year of high school. it was horrible, even now when people read it they say they love the story, but the first chapter is ungodly short and seems thrown together. I just used other peoples criticism to help better myself and my story.

After last years AP writing and composition class i cant even begin to think of writing a novel -shudders- im like sworn off writing for a while lol too many hours of back to back essays kind of took the writing energy out of me sweatdrop

That is one of the reasons I never took classes like that, I didn't want the fun sucked out of writing. They have so many rules and restrictions, I want my stories to be free. ^_^
