Faye smiled back, then stopped. Her father, and the minestry of magic said that she might accidentally entrance someone if she smiled. But Sammie was a girl...surely she couldn't do anything to a girl...
"Ummm...thanks...I was wondering...how many boys are in this school...?"

Sammie stopped in midstep. "How many?...a lot...quiter a few actually...I-I never really bothered to count." she said.

"Is there not a spell that could be used to prevent guys from being enchanted?" she asked, more to herself than faye. She was willing to help. She made her way to her bed and dug into her trunk. "There must be a book here on spells..."

She looked at Faye rather admiringly. "I've yet to make up my own spells. But maybe I can help you...let's see..." she flipped through her book. "If we could just find a spell that makes things last longer...then we'd have it."
