Oni happened to walk by as she saw the young man officially open shop. It only took a half of a minute to decide to go in. She had had quite a day: registering to a new school, setting up her dorm room, and exploring the campus, So she decides to go in to take a breather. She opens the door and takes a seat in the middle of the cafe...

Van watched as the lady came in and grabed his little tablet for orders and a blue pen. He gave her a few moments to read the sighn and walked over to her table. "What can I intrest you in today?" he asked her, hoping he didnt mess up on his first customer.

Oni looked up slowly and smiled at the young man. "I'd like Hot Chocolate with a squirt of whipped cream, and a bagel with cream cheese, please."
She watched as he jotted down the order and prepared a 5 dollar bill for the order...

Chanmi was preparing everything on the counter. A tray full of bite-sized samples of Bagles with Cream Cheese. (Now I want a bagle! -Gonkage.-) She looked up as she heard a customer enter. But, seeing as Van already had it, she looked down again at the tray. Setting it near the cash register, she sighed and looked around the Cafe.

Van recited her order back to her as he read it, "Hot chocolate with whipped cream and bagel with cream cheese..." he said to her. "Thats 3.25 out of 5..." he paused as he got her her change from his pouch. "1.75 is your change and I'll be right back with your order Ma'm." He walked back over to the main counter, nodding as Chanmi as he walked by. He grabed a bagel with cream cheese already on it from the try Chanmi had already prepared. Van grabed a lid as he poured the hot chocolate in to it and placed the lid with a straw through it on it. van grabed th erecit and walked back over to Oni. 'This wasnt that hard....' Van thought to himself as he placed her order on her plate infront of her. "There you go," he said to her wipping his hands on his apron. "Enjoy and let me know if theres anything I can do for you." Van walked back over behind the counter, humming once again.

Chanmi smiled at Van and leaned against the counter. She began fiddling with a small golden heart locket that hung from her neck. There wasn't anything inside...except maybe a little dust. Chanmi was waiting to put something inside. She sighed and ran a hand through her long hair. "I wonder if we get to eat the samples..." She said, reaching for a small piece of bagel and cream cheese. Withdrawing her hand she shook her head. "Probably not."

Oni thoughfully took her change and waited patiently for her snack. While she waited, she took a moment to look around the cafe. It didnt really look like much now, but she saw a lot of potential in the room, and her imagination started to unwind. She snapped out of her little dream world as the young man brought her the order. She thanked him and carefully took a small sip from the cup. It was then that she realized the lack of whipped cream. Not wanting to make a big deal out of something small, she slowly made her way to the counter. "Um, excuse me, she smiled as she talked to the young man. but there seems to be no whipped cream in my hot chocolate....

Vans face wen red instantly. "Im sorry Ma'm, Ill fix that right away..." He hurridly picked up the cup and wen tack to the counter. He looked at Chanmi, "Heh, forgot the whiped cream..." he said sheepishly. Once he had gotten the whipped cream in the Hot chocolate, he walked back to his customer. "Sorry for that," He said as he set it down. "If theres any thing else else, just let me know." he said to as he turned and went back. He looked up at Chanmi, "I like your necklace, is there anything in the locket?" he asked her.

Oni carefully took back her cup after thanking the young man for the drink. She again took her seat in the middle of the cafe and began to eat her bagels. It was then that she started to think about her new school. In a few minutes, she would return to the dorm and take a quick look around, maybe even meet some people....or maybe just go to sleep...

"Nope." She said, with a small smile. She opened it to show him. Snapping it shut again, she sighed. "I'm waiting to put something special inside." She straightened up and looked around the Cafe. "Kind of...empty, isn't it?" She said, directing the question towards Van.

Ramia was walking through the town by the school, totally in awe at the new things that she saw. Where she came from, there wasn't such thing as 'antiques', it was just old stuff that people reguarly used, not art that sat on a shelf.
Lost in her thoughts, she almost passed by a cute little cafe nestled inbetween two other shops, as if it was hiding from the outside world. Ramia took a few steps backward and peered through the painted glass to look inside with her pale blue eyes, and saw that there were three other people inside, two baristas and one customer. Her heart jumped in happiness as she glimpsed a bookcase with a sign of tea on top of it. Ramia pushed a loose strand of wavy black hair back behind her ear and checked her hair absentmindedly with both of her hands.
She readjusted her messenger bag on her shoulder, pulled her grey unzipped hoodie right, her tight turquoise shirt down and her faded and ripped jeans up with a polka dot belt and opened the cafe door, a little bell jingling at her entrance.
Ramia made a beeline for the bookcase at the back of the medium sized room, her converse sneakers making a soft slapping noise as she walked the tiled floor, her face spreading into a smile as she saw many different selections of tea. Her throat ached to test out each and every flavor. She grabbed a chair and sat down, facing the bookcase and began to grab teabags, reading their flavors, smelling them and the replacing them, the decision to pick just one extremely difficult.

His first instinct was to go over there but he decided he would let Chanmi. "You want this one?" he asked her. Chanmi shrugged and made her way over to Ramia. "Hello, do you need any help?" She asked, a small smile on her face. 'My first customer...' She thought, she hoped she did it right.

Broken from her happy thoughts about tea, Ramia looked up to see a girl with an apron draped on her body, showing that she was a barista in the cafe. Ramia smiled nicely, and shook her head.
"I'm fine, thanks." she said, the smile not leaving her face. "It's just that I've never seen such a wide variety of teas, and it's so hard to pick just one to drink." she motioned at the bookcase, a pink colored tea bag clutched in her other hand. "I'll let you know when I need your help." She smiled again at the girl, and then turned back to her wonderland of spices.

Oni quietly finished her bagel and hot chocolate and prepared to leave the little cafe. (I'll have to remember this place for another time, I enjoyed myself...) She thought to herself as she pulled out two dollars for a tip. It was then that she noticed some movement coming from her panda-shaped backpack. She froze for a minute, trying to see if her assumption was true; she felt nothing. (Probably just my imagination.....) She put the tip on the table, gathered her belongings, and stood. She took a moment to readjust her skirt before waving to everyone and leaving the cafe...
