PREVIOUSLY, on GTB! A GUST OF WIND SEPARATES BOTH FIGHTERS! From his new position, Damon quickly glanced up at the sky and then back down towards wherever it was Rachel was now. "Something is definately out to get me today." Never before had Damon experienced such a violent, and yet, extraordinarily precise gust of wind. Judging by the gap between them, they were about 5 to 6 feet apart now - breathing room. Damon did not like giving Rachel any breathing room. However, with the new space between them, he did have the seconds he needed to refocus his energy evenly throughout his body. His kinetic sword flickered out of existence, and he brought his hands up to chest level, fingers splayed. Unlike the stereotypical "closing of the eyes" in order to focus, Damon kept his open and firmly locked onto his opponent. He was watching everything she did. Whether or not she would attempt to pull another weapon or some secret, or try and charge him. Nothing would escape his attention. If Rachel was still seething from her rage and frustration, that was one more advantage Damon would have. Invisible to the naked eye, an 'aura' like distortion rapidly forming around him. All energy had some kind of physical presence when it was brought into the physical world. Damon was just glad that his was always a secret until it was ripping straight through his enemies. Time was wasting - hopefully she would start attacking soon, if she wasn't already.

What an unexpected turn of events, a gust of wind had separated the two pretty much evenly for a distance of about six feet. The wind managed to turn Rachel's body in a direction to directly face her opponent, which was a fair bit better than the open position she was just previously in. She could now actively watch him while she was pushed back while at the same time was suited to react. Having a general knowledge of her opponent's abilities allowed her to plan accordingly, and based on the aggressive attitude she's witnessed from him in the past and now, she could safely assume that he was going to use this brief period of time to prepare another attack.
All that she really needed was for her opponent to have the opportunity to build enough energy to unleash an accurate and devastating blow like in the first round. That wasn't something she was going to let happen again. But just blindly rushing in after gaining her footing, that was bound to lead into some form of trouble. And so as she was pushed back, the bat switched hands and rotated direction. Her right fingers wrapped around the barrel, she was going to prepare for a long shot. Her opponent fell for her first feint, if she were to prepare another, especially one that was more threatening, there was a possibility he would be baited again.
Finally Rachel had gained stable footing in the grass, about the same time her opponent should have. But she wouldn't just stand there and wait. Practically immediately with her right foot sliding back and balancing on the ball, her body leaned back, the bat held at the side of her head. And like a spring being released, she forced t the right side of her body forward. And as she arched downwards, her arm moved in the same direction. She released her grip from the bat, her impressive level of strength launching the bat at her opponent.
The distance between them was short, and the force that she applied behind the throw was quite large. The speed, combined with the length should lead to an impact with the cup of the bat to the psion's face in the time of a simple blink, or a term he seemed to like to use, quarters of a second. And moments after completing the throw she caught her balance and was able to recover before falling flat on her face. Her eyes following the path of the bat. And as she began to pick her body up from the position, she began to move forward. Not a full charge, but she followed the path, quick enough to follow up the speeding bat was to hit him in the face or if he managed to evade it in some way. Either way, she wasn't going to give him any amount of time to focus an attack. She was going to keep the pressure on him, because chances are beating the snot out of this bum was the best solution.

Of all the things to throw at the psion... a bat? Well poor throwing mechanics aside, that was a horrible idea as Damon would have no problem spotting the motions of the throw. And why couldn't he? She was practically throwing her full weight into thing, while he was looking directly at her the entire time.
A split moment before the bat even left her grip, Damon began his move, shifting his body out and away from the path of that weapon to the left as it came whizzing by. He didn't even see it, seeing as it was appearently moving at the blink of an eye. But Damon wouldn't be content with a simple, easy dodge, he had his own plan in mind. With Rachel putting all her steam into covering the distance, she had inadvertently left herself open to one thing - falling. Without even moving from his position, Damon sent a jolt of psychokinetic energy right into her gimp leg.
Tripping her up on wet grass while it was raining was going to be far too easy thanks to the very limited traction on soggy ground. Maybe she'd even break an arm or some fingers if she tried to brace herself in the fall? He certainly hoped so, it would make his job all the easier.
With Rachel possibly on the ground trying to shake the 'cob-webs' out of her head, the psion would have an opening to exploit. Damon could easily close in and drop his right knee down onto her left shoulder and then bury his right fist into the base of her skull - an extremely painful attack that could deal serious damage, potentially knocking her unconscious.
Of course, that was just one possible outcome, depending on her landing or whether she tried to attack him while he was approaching. These were things he kept in his mind at all times, always leaving himself a back door to go through just encase his opponent tried something clever. Personally, after the bat, Damon wondered if she even had any common sense.

The Jedi seemed to have all the blessings of the force with him today. His relatively weak force jolt would manage to connect with her leg in some fashion, enough to unearth the adolescent. And as her body was moving forward from the throw, she would continue to move forward. But not to fall flat on her face, she was able to realize what was happening to her fairly quickly. And she was able to pull her arms in and tuck her head, and she would roll forward on the ground. Somewhere across the planet in a pizza parlor a young boy was getting quite frustrated. On the second stage of Street Fighter 2, he was having much trouble getting past Chun-Li as Ryu. He was furious, looking at the button combinations plastered for the shotokan warrior on the cabinet. His HP bar was almost fully depleted, and in an effort consisting of him banging the stick around in a futile attempt to perform a hadouken, he managed to perform a combination he had never fathomed possible. The scrub managed to enter... ..And the rest was history. A similar occurrence would be happening on this battle field due to the command entered by the unknowing frustrated scrub. From out of the roll Rachel would push upwards, and then her right fist would form. Her arm would thrust out upwards, and off of the ground she would push. And in the air she would spin, her flaming(figurative) fist soaring to the underside of the psion's face. With the strength to sink the Titanic, the speed to surpass the Flash, she performed the flying uppercut while Damon was preparing to do whatever knee drop attack. And just like the Ryu who managed to sneak a win against the Stage 2 AI Chun-Li, Rachel would gain several invincibility frames. The power of the shoryuken.

The attack had worked well enough, falling on her face or tucking and rolling, it didn't make a difference to Damon. He readied himself for when Rachel got close, not wasting the energy to move - but instead prepare. The psion intended to end this in a single attack, right here, right now. And he felt fairly confident in his ability to do so! Quote: From out of the roll Rachel would push upwards, and then her right fist would form. Her arm would thrust out upwards, and off of the ground she would push-- THERE! As Rachel's vision fixated back on Damon and she launched into her upward decent, a single thing would fill her entire vision for but a quarter of a second, as they say. Black. Just all encompassing black. The exact color of Damon's pants leg. The wet, crunchy sound of her nose shattering and her front teeth caving in would follow in tandem with the blackness. What had Damon done? Well, a knee attack. A left knee strike, that Rachel would be running her face directly into no less. Turning to the left had turned his right shoulder to her, essentially chambering his left side for a counter attack - be it for a punch or a kick. Whichever he needed at the exact moment. The sheer impact would likely send the girl flat to her back, her right fist losing all it's energy as it just barely made contact on the left side of Damon's torso. If that didn't knock the girl out, well, she would be in no condition to get back up for a round two anytime soon. If everything happened according to plan, as Damon hoped, the end result would be him standing above a chick with a crushed in face. Should she decide to try and continue, Damon would walk towards her and speak in a serious tone, "You should quit, while you can still save yourself a trip to the emergency room. "

Apparently her opponent wasn't too well versed with the shoryuken attack, and the properties that came with all shoryuken type attacks in almost every fighting game to ever exist. To repeat it for him and why his knee attempt his futile during the shoryuken, Quote: And just like the Ryu who managed to sneak a win against the Stage 2 AI Chun-Li, Rachel would gain several invincibility frames.

It was inevitable that the shoryuken would land its mark. And that connection would rock the world. The sheer magnitude of the shoryuken was so great that Philippines would be engulfed in the fiery boundaries that trapped it. New mountain chains would form in sub-Sahara Africa. The power, the might, it was so great that miracles could happen. And as the world gazed on at the pillar of flames that had formed in the middle of this very ring, to break apart the clouds of the rain storm and connect the heavens to the Earth, they were about to be graced with the ultimate performance. And Rachel was high with in the air, suspended there by some unknown means. Her eyes focused on the ant that was her opponent below. And then to the heavens her gaze shifted. Her arms upwards, palms opened to the sky. And loudly she shouted, her voice echoing through out the valleys and the plans, through out the canyons and the cold tundra of the Gaia. She called out in a plea to all things living. "Lend me your power...!" And all the rabbits, deers and even the Clint Eastwood defending his lawn from hoodlums could not refuse her call. And the energy, it began to flow freely. And above her hands it was focused through her concentration, and it quickly manifested into a blue ball of light. Rachel was able to do this so quickly because of her training, and because of her pure heart. Even though she had been a misguided youth, she was still of a pure heart. And because of that, she was free. A fighting spirit and unlimited potential. She was a child of prophesy. And this attack that she was forming, it was going to defeat the vile foe below her. And the ball of energy reach its capacity, the energy lent to her from all things was ready to simply explode. Its good heart righteousness, it was going to deliver justice to all of those who had been wronged. And Rachel moved her arm, directing it to the arena below, the big blue ball following its course and sitting just in front of her hand. She could feel its soothing warmth radiate against her flesh. It instilled hope into her. It brought confidence. And a sincere smile crossed her lips. The clouds had passed light showered her figure, it was a spectacle to see. As if she were divine, she held this ball and aimed it, focused it on the negativeness that formed her opponent. It was going to be a sure thing. This was his requiem. And she was ready, her lips parted, and she shouted. Her voice causing the earth to quake, the glaciers to tremble beneath her mightiness. It was time. "GENKI DAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
And then she released the giant ball of blue energy. It appeared to move fairly slow, simply because of its sheer size. But in reality, it traveled very quickly. It was going to consume her opponent, it was going to break every bond that formed his being. And it was a deserving blow, it was justice.

I'm locking the thread due to both fighters not getting along. Judging will be done up to this point.
