Slavic could hear her speaking to them but could not pull himself from the opponent at that moment but he knew she was right. It would be smarter to back off and run away, avoiding enemies than stand here and be distracted and get eatten. He gave the prince the hardest shove he could muster, staggering back quickly to Kupala's side.
"S-s-s-she's right." He said panting. "I v-v-v-very well won't bb-b-b-b-be killed by a lion or cheetah w-w-w-w-while distracted." He said, his chest heaving up and down, sweat falling off from him. He kept his stance strong though, in case the prince attacked again. He would keep defending but he very well wasn't going to cause any injuries.

Kupala did not give Adhimu a chance to speak. With Slavic by her side, it was good enough for her to run away. With all her might, she bounded off toward the southern grove.
Adhimu was lost to her, she had a new prince in her heart. Though, she knew this wasn't going to be her last encounter with the bold Adhimu.
Adhimu watched in surprise as the female he was fighting for sprinted off. If they were distracted, they would have likely been picked off in their exhausted state and with Kupala gone, it would be pointless! He gave Slavic a glare before scoffing at him.
"You won't have for her long, just you wait, I'll settle this."
Without waiting for that response, he headed off in the opposite direction.

Slavic took the que and was quick after her, his ears swiveled back to hear what the prince had to shout to them. He didn't care. He was not going to care. As long as he had Kupala safe at his side-he wouldn't care.
And he had an idea. One thing that the prince did not know, was that Slavic had a friend who may not be so friendly in appearance. If he had too, he'd beg Machu to let them stay beside them. At least until it was safe again.
