Ink chuckled at her outburst of happiness, which she seemed to put on a minimum as to not startle Daemon. It seemed alright for this woman to get close to the boy, she after all, already knew the history behind Daemon and she seemed capable. Ink was quite a good judge when it came to character and he got a good feeling from her. He knew he could trust her.
He nodded "Please, visit as much as you like, the library is open at anytime. Besides, I think the children, despite the fact they tend to be a bit evasive, like the company." He replied before looking over at the new book character who seemed intrigued by their conversation "Would you like to go home with her?"
The boy did not reply, in fact, he was still as stone, as if he were thinking rather hard on the matter. With a perplexed expression on his face, he turned towards the woman and nodded slowly. It seemed he didn't mind.
"Well, it seems to be alright." He stood up, the children jumping off his back as he did so "I still haven't gotten your name however... what was it again?"

"Oh!" she whispered, hands flying to her mouth, cheeks going rosy red in embarrassment. "I am so sorry!" she practically wailed, though she still was trying to keep from being too emotive - she didn't want to scare Daemon, or make Ink realize she'd be a poor guardian after all. "Sometimes I forget. I'm Cerri - Cerridwyn Isra." she smiled crookedly and shrugged a shoulder. "It's a long name, but I'm rather fond of it." The mints were tucked back into her purse, and then she looked to the boy, holding out her hand.
"Come on, Daemon. Let's get you to our temporary home, hm? I think... I'll have you sleep on the pullout couch for now." After all, he'd always hated the smell of a woman in his bed; she didn't want to make him uncomfortable from the get go by forcing him into hers! "I think you'll like the TV that's in the same room." she added with a wink. "We'll start looking for an apartment tomorrow... goodness! There's so much to be done!" She lifted her other hand to her mouth, one finger resting on her lips as she thought a moment. Would the money last? Would it be enough to support two people instead of one? She rather hoped it would... and if it turned out it wasn't enough, well, she just might have to make some sacrifices, get a real job. But thoughts like that could wait for later.
"Thanks for everything, Mr. Ink." she told the man, sending him a warm, grateful smile. "I'm sure we'll both be back soon." It would do the boy good to interact with others like him, after all. Maybe, just maybe, he could make a friend or two. "But for now, I think we'd best be going. I just hope the rain has stopped."

Ink smiled at Cerri and he surprise at the fact she had forgotten to introduce herself. She was interesting person, indeed, and would, without a doubt, make a good guardian. "It's alright, even I tend to forget sometimes." He said, reassuringly. He did forget a lot of things, he was, after all, rather absent-minded. There was only so much he could fill in that head of his.
He watched the one-sided exchange between Cerri and Daemon as she continued to ramble while the new arrival simply stood and listened. Despite Daemon's lack of reaction, it seemed as if he had come to accept the woman, already, and didn't seem to have any qualms about her. He wouldn't open up so easily as of yet but it was a nice, quick first step.
"It's my pleasure, Ms. Isra." He said with a slight bow "Please, come again. If you need any help, I will gladly offer it to you. Don't worry about the rain, the Library has told me that it's stopped, so it should be a fine walk home. It was wonderful to meet the both of you, I hope you have a safe trip on your way back."

"Please. Ms. Isra's my father." she told the man with a wink, then looked to Daemon, shrugging when he didn't take her hand to show it was of no consequence to her either way. "Call me Cerri or Cerr, Ink. I'd much prefer it. Now we'll just be toddling along. So very much to do! I'll be back soon to look up human sacrifices, and I'll be sure to bring Daemon along so he can interact with the other children."
She gave the librarian one last, bright smile, then turned and began to walk away, making sure that the boy stayed nearby. She didn't want to lose him so soon after getting him, after all. That would be terrible. Soon, they were out of the library itself and on their way to their temporary home, Cerridwyn chatting all the while at a silent, solemn Daemon.
