Margarette backed down. The fire dispersed, but she continued to glare at Charolais. "You..." She cast her eyes downward.
Am I loyal enough to Loki to accept that? Can I accept this woman's existence for his sake? I wish I could just... kill her! Her attitude is more annoying than a zit! ... So I will regard her as so. Just a zit on my relationship with my master.
"Augh... I won't gratify you with a response..." She turned back to Loki. "Is there anywhere you'd like me to be, master? Any tasks you'd like to bestow upon me, or would you rather I stay here?" She asked.

Váli chittered with displeasure at all the magic and shouting. His little ears flattened to his head and he shivered as Loki picked him up and put the little rodent on his shoulder.
"There, there," he said. "That's enough, ladies, thank you very much." He stood up in one smooth motion, appearing to be much taller than he actually was until he approached the both of them. "My lovely assistants," he said to them, smiling, "What would I ever do without you? Baroness, I will go to survey the lands now. Please, have someone search your libraries for anything you feel I might enjoy." He nodded and turned, quickly, to face Margarette. "Please go prepare me a room at the top of the highest tower. I will finish doing the things you cannot, do not fret if it seems too small."
He stepped back, smiling, and bowed. "My will," he said, "be done." And in a swirl of flame, he was gone.
A moment later, there was another snap of flame by the table, out of which Loki stuck his arm and grabbed his wine glass before he pulled it back through the fire.
