Zaine blocked the kick with the hilt of his Zanpakutoh and returns with a blast of reiatsu aimed towards his left ribs.

Genji shifted his body out of the way of the blast. He could feel the reiatsu ruffle he robes. Genji then sent a punch for Zaine's cheek.

Zaine saw the hit coming towards his face, deciding to not dodge it but instead to intercept the punch with his forehead, the thickest part of his skull, at the very least Genji would break some fingers if not the whole hand.

Genji made sure to pad his hand with reiatsu right before impact because he knew the Zaine would be up to something. Nonetheless, it still really hurt. Genji then sent a knee kick into Zaine's stomach.

Zaine grinned at the kick, "So predictable my friend." he said with a glint in his eye, curling his body he cushioned the attack and caught Genji's leg, landing Zaine stood hlding the shinigami's leg, with a wink he attempted to send a massive reiatsu burst into Genji's body, this would cause some major damage and most likely paralyze the leg for a good while, and seeing as it was so close Zaine expected something miraculous was in order to avoide any damage whatsoever.

Genji was grateful that Zaine wasn't paying too much attention to his free hand.
"Bakudo 1 Restrain!"
The spell would force Zaine's arms be locked behind his back. However, he was damaged by Zaine's reiatsu attack.

(You may have bound my arms but you didnt stop the reiatsu pulse I sent through your body, so you need to edit that a little lol.)

(Sorry if this is a weak post. btw the pulse can burst blood vessles, cause nerve damage . only occasionally though. IT usually causes broken bones or severe bruising )
Zaine jumped back, though his arms were bound he still had some fight in him "You cant keep this up forever." he said wryly, trying to figure out how to escape the spells effects.

Zaine, with his hands behind his back, looked like a punching bag. Though Genji felt a bit crass for having such a thought, it didn't stop him from attacking Zaine in such a manner. He sent a round house kick into the center of Zaine's chest.
