"Wha... no! Father Renault!" Sue yelled out... all she'd seen as she entered inside was the bishop go right over the edge. He stood no chance, none at all! And it was all so fast...
"What do we do... what do we do?!" The nomad trooper started to panic. "How do we even think... of going against him..?"
And to see Rei, the one she searched for turned to stone... it horrified the nomad even more.

The display was terrifying.
Ed ducked down, her hackles high as she observed the spell that destroyed Renault's Luce and sent him sailing into the abyss. She was too terrified to even growl, her eyes reflecting the horrible scene that proved her friend's death. The one who used to hang around her all the time when she was normally a kitty...
He went down. Way, way down into a darkness her wolf eyes could not penetrate, and he was gone, gone, gone, just like Rei, but at least she could see Rei. They'd probably never see Renault again.
Ed backed away. She realized just then that this really was a dark god. What were they thinking, trying to take on him? Renault, probably one of the strongest magic-users among them, was taken out in less than a minute against this guy! The wolf's ears flattened, tucking her tail fearfully at what she had just witnessed.
What there they thinking?

It... hadn't worked. How... how had it not worked? He had poured his soul into that attack... and it had been pierced through like it was nothing. The demonic creatures burst from the darkness, rushing towards his body and slamming into it with a rough impact. The pain was incredible, feeling as if he was being ripped apart. Luce flew from his hand, landing with a thump on the ground close to Rei, as the saint was slammed back into the wall.
More than the physical pain, was the mental pain... His daughter would cry. He'd broken his promise to her... that hurt so much, it felt like his heart was breaking as well. He fell then, into the dark and the flames and the smoke. His head turned slowly as he fell, gaze sweeping over the group gathered there. Tears fell softly from his golden eyes as he mouthed two simple words:
I'm sorry...

Victoria too saw Renault's fall into the abyss. Why didn't he wait for any of them?! If he would have only waited, then it wouldn't have happened! He more than anyone should have known better than to decrease their numbers!
She gripped the Aura tome nervously. Was she to be... next? And Rei.
The statue of that idiotic boy whom once again let his magic take him.
Her restore wouldn't react to him... so ... there was going to be no freeing him from petrification. "Just... wonderful..." she muttered with slight sarcasm.
Noticing the Luce hanging by a thread, she gripped it instead... putting away the Aura for later. She'd use this tome... in her fellow bishop's honor.

As Loki had begun to prepare his spell, Octavio screamed out to try to warn the bishop.
He knew it was inevitable. He shrunk backwards, turning himself away and curling his legs up towards his chest... He didn't want to see it again... It would only intensify his pain... Watching Loki do that again...
He heard Renault hit the wall.. He cringed, but made himself look. He watched him slide down into the abyss...
"No!" He yelled. It was disturbing. It was a terrible display of power from someone whom has clearly displayed he has no intent to show mercy or remorse... Octavio closed his eyes...
"No..."

Amelia's eyes never left Loki on the far side of the land bridge. He had threatened them at Christmas. He had to have been involved at Easter; she saw no other way for evil and chaos to suddenly overwhelm so many different people. She still remembered the end of his warning, memory of that voice enough to send a chill down her spine: "Mark thy days, thy time is short."
No, your time is short...
No words left her lips. She would have continued to stare, had Renault not suddenly approached. Amelia turned her gaze, reaching out with one hand towards his sleeve, only for him to move just out of her reach as he moved around Nino and towards Loki.
"Dark god!" Amelia stared at his back as he shouted. "I am Renault, a Saint of the church of Elimine. You are a blasphemous being, who has committed heinous crimes against the Goddess and against the life of this world itself. For these crimes, I sentence you to death, the sentence to be carried out by myself. Be ready, demon. Your time has come."
Amelia stared. Was he... going to attack alone? Before she could wonder any farther, the light that formed before him nearly blinded her, forcing arm over her eyes to shield her gaze.
"Vesa yun misurun.... LUCE!"
"Dad...!" Amelia called, lowering her arm to see. Where were the others? Renault couldn't fight alone, and she had no idea if her Iron arrows would travel far enough. "Dad!"
But there was no time to react, help, anything. Loki was moving before anyone could reach him, not even the Hawk King, and Amelia shuddered as his arms moved in ways she didn't think possible. Before she could register what the runes looked like, his spell activated, and Amelia's scream came out of her mouth before she could hold it down. The terror was naked in her gaze as she was helpless to watch Loki's magic knock her father around like he was nothing better than a rag doll, lacerating and searing his flesh with dark magic.
Amelia's wounded cry stuck in her throat as the spell ended with a mighty explosion, sending Renault against the cavern wall. "D-Dad..." she managed out in a bare whisper. Her hands were shaking, knuckles white as her grip on the naginata tightened. She couldn't drop it, not here, not now...
He seemed to fall so very slowly, blood and fire filtering behind him as his body plummeted. Amelia desperately wanted to reach out for him, grab his hand before he could disappear, save him, no you can't die, you can't... She could see his lips move, find the message within, and she opened her mouth to speak, tell him something, anything...
But then he was gone.
"Dad..." Amelia whispered. The tears came without warning, blurring her vision and cascading down her face, hitting her breastplate. "DAD!"
Her upper body shuddered as she struggled to breathe, color draining out of her face. No... no, no, no, this couldn't happen... She tore her eyes away from the slick of blood left upon the wall--her father's blood, Loki drew that blood--and stared at the dark god himself. Rage burned in her eyes, still marred with agonized tears.
Bring judgment upon the wicked.

"Father Renault!!!!!" Fa yelled as he was killed infront of everyones eyes. "Theres no way we can beat something like that..." Fa thought in her mind.

Nino looked up, her eyes filled with panicked, confused tears. She watched Loki... destroy Renault. Her eyes widened... "NO! He can't! Renault!" She shook her head.
"Loki!"
Her expression turned to that of rage. "You did this to my son! And you... Just now... You...!" She screamed. "There's no way out of this now, monster! You'll die here!"

The moment Ephraim stepped in, peple were already shouting. Confused at everyone's reaction. Ephraim turned toward the source in time to see Renault fall. His eyes widened at the image. Granted, Renault was actually one of the first person he befriended when he arrived to Learania. Just that image alone, the shot hitting Renault and him falling to his death. Ephraim was appauled, speechless...the anger was already welling up inside of the prince. He held it in as long as he could "...You..." Ephraim growled, mustering up the most devious glare he could. "You b*****d!" he snarled. A person such as himself usually never loses temper, but anger them in the right spot and they will snap.
"This shall not go unpunished.." No, it will not. If anybody had a say in this it was those who were here. No way were they going to sit back and watch someone they care about die in front of them. Especially Amelia, if Ephraim recalled, Renault was her adopted father. She definlently would not sit back.

"Noo!" John yelled as renault prematurely went up against Loki. "This Has to End now! No more of us can die against the Dark God Loki! We shall Fight We shall win!" John yelled looking to his allies seeing if their moral would rise any. "Problem is...How..." John though second guessing himself.

Everyone was charging, everyone was about to fight. Sue drew out Myulgre, deciding not to dwell on the fear. It would slow her down, and slowing down would kill her. She whipped Andre forward. "This... Loki! This is for Learania! This is for FEF, my new tribe! This is for... my new home that you dared tried and take from all of us! Prepare yourself for the might of the Sacaen birthright, the Bow of Winds, Myulgre!"
She charged forward with Nino, and again didn't look back. When he was in range, she fired.

Victoria opened the Luce tome, and muttered the Sacred words that she'd only seen Renault do a few minutes ago. "This is for my brother of Elmine... but also... for my new Order! This is... goodbye for you, Loki!" she declared as she fired off the spell in conjunction with the others' charging attacks. She would not fail, would not falter... until he was dead.

Ed flicked her head left and right, receiving the reactions that the others made. She saw fear, but she too saw indignity and rage. She held onto that rage, allowed it to fester in her paws; she needed it to fight. She needed a wolf's anger to even approach this damnable god before them. Realizing that a pack member had fallen, a fellow was gone — two even— Ed bared her teeth and bristled, lifting her tail.
She had to help Nino avenge her son. She had to help Amelia avenge her father.
Fueled now by purpose and vengeance, Ed stepped up beside Nino, ready to lend her full strength to the inevitable assault.

John stepped forward and took out his Silver bow and took an arrow out and aimed at the head of the dark god. "You have our support Nino." John assured waiting to attack.

Fa walked forward and charged a light ball in between her hands and waited for the attack signal to go off even though Fa was shaking in her small little boots Fa had controlled what Fear she could and charged the light some more.
