Ryu looked to Meag, who seemed to be the only one in the class. "Very nice but it can be perfected". Ryu walked over to her. "Have a firm grip on your Zanpaktou, and don't shake your knees, that is a dead give away that your nervous...".
Ryu drew, Negai, his Zanpaktou. "Now that you have a basic stance down, show me a basic slash or Offensive move."

She smiled up at him and a burst of confidence came forth. Her muscles tightened and her hands found a comfortable grip. She double slashed the air in front of her. Her back foot slid back, and she positioned her zanpakto above her head, then held the pose.

Ryu looked at Meag, "A double slash...?, original but still good, and now that your back foot is in a good place, and your Zanpaktou is stationed above your head, what would your next move be?"

Meag looked at him blankly, "Swing down and block?" she asked, unsure.
Her cheeks were turning red from embarrassment.

"Wrong, but no need to be embarrassed. All you need to do from there is drop low, reposition your foot behind you and push off for a stab. Cause after that Double slash they would have to block, and by positioning your foot behind you you set yourself up for a push-off from the ground."

She listened to him, nodded once, and performed his directions flawlessly. She continued to move, pushing off the ground then shooting forward with her zanpaktou aimed for Ryu. "Raaaaaaaah!"

Ryu's eyes widened as Meag flew straight for him. Cause after all, she started out attacking air, now she was headed straight for Ryu. Catching him off-guard, Ryu did something of a Matrix-move and did the limbo to dodge Meag's attack. He leaned down low as Meag soared right over him. Ryu regained his balance and stood back up, he he stood a wire thin cut made its way across Ryu's cheek. Ryu wiped his hand across his cheek to check for blood. Blood dripped off his hand as he pulled away from the cut, Ryu licked his hand clean and said. "Very nice, small attack and a lot of damage".

She huffed and struggled to stop her momentum before crashing in midair. Looking up at him, she wiped her mouth with her sleeve and grinned impishly.
"Want a band-aid?" she asked being a smart-a**. "I-I mean, thank you sir." she said, correcting herself. Oh I did not just say that...

Ryu smirked, "Is that a challenge?". Ryu pointed his Zanpaktou at Meag.

"Well if you like to beat up girls, then yes," she replied. That one cut had boosted her confidence ten-fold.
I know I can touch him...so I should be able to win...ha! who am I kidding, yah right, but I don't wanna look weak...
Meag positioned her zanpakto at Ryu, ready. She glared at him, focusing all her attention on his movements.

"Hahahahahaha...", Ryu's maniacal laughter echoed all throughout the gym. "I don't see myself as beating up a girl...I see myself beating up an opponent." Ryu slung his sword down and Shunpo'd. More maniacal laughter echoed around the gym. Ryu soon reappeared behind Meag and whispered, "Peek-a-boo", in her ear.

She didn't even see him move once; His voice behind her sent shivers down her spine. She turned but he was gone again. Sweat began to form on her forehead.

Ryu's voice echoed throughout the Gym once again, saying, "They didn't make me a Captain for nothing.". Ryu reappeared and his body began to flash in a zig-zag motion toward Meag. His menacing laughter growing louder. Ryu, eyes wide with a smirk on his face, Swung his sword close to Meag. The Sword barely missed, but cut off some hair from Meag's bangs. Ryu Shunpo'd beside her and caught the hair as it fell.

She stared at him in awe as he caught her hair.
"You must like showing off huh?" she said. "I don't blame you. All that power must be inflating your head."
She shunpo'd next to him and cut his wrist right before he moved again.
(Sorry for the lack of imagination. It's superrrr late where I'm at, and I'm running on the dinner I ate 6 hours ago.)

Ryu appeared in the air, and began to lick the blood off his wrist. "Yes, i do love showing off. But I still don't want to hurt you." Ryu sealed up his Zanpaktou from its Shikai state.
