Pick one and say what you mean. Don't play games with it" He hated words that had so many means. They got in the way of things constantly.

"You asked what it had to do with distance as if what I was saying had anything in the world to do with distance of space. It's not exactly anything new that there's travel time between us and everyone else." She snorted, wondering why she'd even bothered approaching him in the first place, let alone trying to talk to him.
"It's like trying to talk to a rock." She muttered to herself, shaking her head before speaking out loud again. "Once again, I'll tell you that I said exactly what I meant. You said that you noticed it so I don't see why I'm still trying to explain it."

"If you would actually say what you mean instead of speaking in metaphors perhaps i would be more inclined to pretend i know what you meant" He wasn't good at wordy things and he didn't have any idea what she meant. There were too many distances she could be speaking of and to him none of htem had anything to do with the coming times.
"Perhaps it is because i'm no mroe useful than a rock." He snarled as he got up. He could go pick brambles out of his fur alone and not have to deal with being scolded about being who he was.

"If you were no more useful than a rock I doubt you would be able to count yourself amongst the Ushujaa." She snorted softly as she turned once more, tail ticking back. "You're male. I'm sure you have uses even beyond that, you're just harder than hell to talk to."

"Rocks make the best defenses." It was obvious from their home in the mountains. SO as a rock he was rather useful as one of the guards. It was hard to move him from whatever position he was in, be it mental or physical.
At her late comment he snorted. "The temper makes me far more useless as a male than most"

Her brow lofted slightly as a smirk curved the corners of her muzzle, eyes gleaming. "... Here I might have thought it would have made you more useful; strength, determination... But if you'd rather put yourself forward as being impotent." She shrugged, a grin replacing her smirk as she turned back, heading in her own direction once more.

"I didn't say anything about being impotent." He snarled slightly. "I just said no one wants to put up with my tempter that long." he had fully expected that his family line would die with him. No female in their right mind wound want to deal with his attitude long enough to have his cubs.

The sound of her laughter lingered even as she disappeared down the path, leaving his last words without a response, convinced that she couldn't have made more of an impact by saying anything else anyways.
