This is just what I got from the book. Mount Olympus is on the 600th floor of the Empire State building.

Yeah that series is really good. By the way, send me a link when it is open, I want to join. ^_^ Anyway, he has some excellent points. I think he was saying, think of christians. How would a devoted christian feel if they found out their parent was a god of Greek mythology? Their religion was wrong and they had been beleiving a lie? Just thought I would try to make that more clear just in case you didn't fully understand...Anyway, you also need a conflict. It would be boring to just run around playing "The Sims" with demigods. There needs to be some conflict and once you figure that out then I think you are on a good start.

I'm re-reading it sweatdrop from The Lightning Thief through The Last Olympian (I just re-started so I'm only back on the first one)
I know what you mean about the Christianity. Devout, my neigbor's mom definitely qualifies.
I'm not very good with thinking up problems... maybe a small list of vauge conflicts to help get me started?

Vague problems? Um...
Some pissed off entity wants them dead, some terrible beastie is going to kill everyone, you could make it a romance thing and have people fighting for one another, some sort of contest going on...there are a million things really.

Alie Valens Hades is another name for the Underworld in which Hades, Greek god of Death rules. The main entrance to the Styx is under a recording studio. Okay, I'm sorry, but I'm a great fan of greek mythology and have to correct this,or in case I'm out of context give the backstory. Hades is indeed the ruler of the underworld, but the underworld itself is not called Hades, I believe it's Tartaraus, those who have comitted acts against the gods are sent and tortured for all enternity. Such as one guy(I forget the name) is tasked with pushing a boulder up a steep hill, but everytime it nears the top, it fall back down. If your just a normal person, then you just wander some smokey fields boringly for eternity.

But it could be refered to as both... The guy's name Sisyphus.

I don't believe so, but then again, I've not heard that tale yet.I'm a little rusty... And I'm not trying to be a know it all here, I just seldom get to use my mythology knowledge and jump at the chance to.
And thanks, that was bugging me.

Conflict: Secret organization (mostly or all humans) wants to manipulate the demi gods for some purpose.
To make the RP really interesting, the purpose could be to fix the world. I suppose that the group would have to look somewhat evil to give the demigods a reason to resist joining.
Another purpose could be to destroy the gods because they failed.

The domain which Hades rules is indeed sometimes referred to as Hades, usually no, but sometimes, yes. Most people call it the Underworld. Those who are particularly evil go to a part called Tartaraus, those who live normal lives go to some empty field; forgot what it's name was..., and those who died a hero's death go to some special part of the Underworld. Yes, Cronus/Cronos/Kronos was sent down there after being chopped up, along with several other titans. Other titans were given other punishments though...
