"I hope life is as kind to you as you were to that fish" he beamed and bowed before backing up a few steps and taking to the air with a last nod goodbye.

"I will!" she called after him, her smile still in place as she watched him leap up and drift away into the distance on his feathered wings.
She lingered for a moment, looking around her, before leaning down to gingerly pick up the bunch of honeysuckle he had gotten for her. Though her smile was hidden by the pleasant smelling blossoms, it was still there, and was no doubt evident by the way she turned and began to happily trot back the way she had come before.
