Haze nodded understanding. "Perhaps we could get closer to the forest and cover, it'll certainly reasure our guards here," she laughed indicating Darius and Shadow. She gave Darius a nudge toward the approaching mare, "Tell her hello from me too," she said before moving away toward the trees where Harper perched.
"Will do," Darius replied. The green stallion turned and returned the knicker in a welcoming tone. He stepped forward to meet the approaching mare part way.
Shadow remained on guard, more so now since both his kirin friends were going to be distracted. He huffed to himself silly creatures. What would they do without him?

Gemini sighed to herself when only one of the strangers head over to her, the other two retreating. Maybe they saw her beauty from there and felt unworthy? Whatever the cause, she walked slowly and allowed the green stallion to come mostly to her. She couldn't tell much what the other two looked like from this distance, but the approaching male seemed clean enough.
"Hello." She greeted, inclining her head in a small bow.

"Good evening," Darius replied with a grin. It seemed the proper way of things that the mare allowed him to do the most walking. He studied her, his admiration probably quite clearly showing in his eyes. The moonlight really did emphasis her markings and accessories. "The stream's water is quite nice if you're after a drink," he offered with a companionable tone.

Gemini cocked her head, peeking once more at the others before looking back at Darius. "Actually, the stream is how I got here. I wouldn't mind some company though." She caught his eye and smiled, approving of his admiration. It reminded her of another stallion she knew. "My name is Gemini. And you are?"

"Yes that does sound like a good idea," Lu agreed softly. His ears flicked a bit as he turned himself towards the forest. He turned his head over his shoulder and glanced at Shadow for a few moments, within those few moments he had run face first into a tree trunk, knocking himself over with the impact.

"A pleasure to meet you Gemini," the stallion replied. "I'm Darius. My friend that stepped to the forest is Hazalinia. The other stallion we just met here as well and he seems a bit nervous around others so they took their conversation to one side. She did ask me to say hello on her behalf."
Hazalinia jumped back and whinnied in surprise at Lucius impact with the tree. The leaves rustled above and Haz glanced warningly up in case this was the tree in which Harper, Darius's benu was perched. Please don't come down, she tried to convey with that look. Luc was nervous enough about Shadow; he didn't need the benu bird suddenly coming down from his perch.
That hopefully taken care of she approached and nuzzled the stallion. "Are you alright?" she asked voice full of concern.

Gemini inclined her head in a small bow. "And you as well." Then she nodded. "I understand. Strangers can sometimes be a little intimidating depending on how they look and act." She smiled softly. "Darius. What are you doing out this late. Most kirin should be in bed by now." After her meeting with the intriuging Than, she now knew that a bed here was not the same as what she once considered a bed. She wondered what Darius thought when she said the word.

Darius was a little confused by her wording but from context figured she meant "asleep." "Haze has a keshi as a familiar so she got used to traveling in the evenings with him able to guide her as it grew darker. Since the moon was so bright tonight we traveled even later than usual," he explained. "I'll admit I'm not quite comfortable with the idea of coming out to such an open spot at night, but Shadow is on watch." He nodded in the direction of the keshi who gave a friendly bark of acknowledgement.

Gemini cocked her head. "A familiar?" She looked where Darius had indicated and blinked in surprise at the little keshi. "That's a shadow? Or, the familiar? It's so cute!" She giggled. "I've never seen one of those before. Do you have one too?"

He shook himself off a bit, wondering where the heck the tree had come from. It seemed to have come out of no where. "Yeah...Yeah I think I'm fine. Though the thing just seemed to come out of no where..."

OOC: I havn't been keeping up with this very well and was wondering if you wanted to continue in here or let this thread be archived and perhaps move to PRPs? Haze is definately curious about Lucius and would like to get to know him better and Darius, well he certainly wouldn't object to learning more about Gemini and maybe introducing her to Harper when daylight rolls around. I'm game either way and will try to put in a better effort to keep the tags rolling in.

(( If you're really busy, I don't mind holding off for a little while until you're comfortable starting another one. Gemini has never seen a familiar before, other than Shadow now, so I think that would be fun. I don't know if she'll meet one at all since her plot doesn't have one at the moment. ))
