Ratchet nodded at Jay and the others. "I'm Ratchet, Ratchet Nasmyth. Or E. I have a real first name, but I'm not exactly fond of it. So Ratchet works, even though it might seem a little dorky." Everybody looked so cool, especially Jay and the girl with the blue streaks in her hair. She was suddenly aware of her patchy clothes- while she was proud of them, what would they think? But she shook her head, knowing that if she fixed things up a bit in here, nobody would care how she dressed. "If nobody objects, I'm gonna take this bunk here, in the corner; I don't really care who's up top." She smiled as nicely as she could at the girl who'd thrown up; after everybody saw her get sick, she figured the poor little girl might be a bit of a pariah, and she felt bad for her. Maybe she'd want to bunk with her; if not, she might be able to convince Noel to be her bunkmate. She paused for a moment, wondering what to say next. "Also... it might be a good idea if you told me if you're having any problems with your bed. I mean... I don't think that they care too much about maintenance here. A lot of the equipment I've seen actually looks really dangerous. Whereas... I mean, I don't want to brag or anything, it's just that I've fixed a lot of things in my time. And I have a lot of tools with me." With a shy smile and a blush, she lugged her toolbag over to the bed she'd chosen and pried out a few loose staples with the screwdriver on her belt. "If I'm gonna be a Beaver, I'm gonna be the best Beaver I can be. We're a team, I guess, and I don't want my teammates gettin' hurt from broken beds!"

"Nice to meet you, Helena." She was about to introduce herself as well when another girl came in. She waved a paw over to the girl with the tools. Well wouldn't this girl be useful huh? "Hi Ratchet. I'm Serena." she said, finally completing her introduction. She smiled up at Annabel's words and laid back on her bed. "Don't know about you guys, but I like the mix of people we have so far." Everyone here had their own reasons for being here from what she could see. And with enough tough people, she knew her team was going to be a challenge for the others. Hearing Jay's words, she smiled. "Goodnight Jay." Ears flicking, she picked up Ratchet's words and smiled. "Thanks Ratchet! And if you guys don't want to eat what the chef makes, I can get us edible things from the forest. I was told I was going to a camp to learn survival in the wilderness so I studied all that stuff before I was kidnapped. Heck, I could even make a small fire to cook things over." A yawn escaped her. "Think I'm gonna follow Jay's lead there. Night everyone." Although her eyes closed, she remained alert enough to listen for any reason to spring up from slumber.

Ratchet smiled at the other girls as they began to drift off. "I think that if we work together, we'll all be just fine. I'll build, you cook, and somebody can bum a lighter off that pyro boy. G'night, Serena! G'night, Jay! G'night, everybody else who's going to bed! I think I'm gonna unpack a little first; I want my toothbrush and pajamas. And my ratchet, she thought to herself. Normal Audio children had teddy bears or security blankets. Ratchet had, well, a ratchet. She'd been fascinated with it as a pup, loved the noise it made and the way it spun, and it only made sense that her grandfather had surrendered the tool to her. She'd carried it around ever since; knowing that it was there had kept her sane so far. So long as she had her tools, she'd be absolutely fine. Ab-so-lute-ly. On top of her tools was a large roll of leather with straps; this she would hang from the top bunk. At one time it had been a tie rack of sorts, but she'd appropriated it to hang her tools when she went places or was doing a job outside and couldn't hang onto a tool box. Grinning, she hung it from the bunk above her as she removed the plastic bag underneath it containing her toothbrush and toothpaste. Her clothes were all under her tools; she'd unpack and sort the tools first to see what would need to be the most useful here. But as she dug around in the bag for the familiar feel of cool metal blades and dull resin shafts, a strange texture met her questing paw. What...

What were these things and where were her tools?

...a plastic hammer?

...a wooden screwdriver?

...was that a Transformer?

Frantically, she dug through her bag, waiting to meet her tools. The joke was becoming increasingly unfunny, and, when she hit the bottom and came across her clothes, she'd found none of her original tools. From her carefully selected supply of gadgets, gizmos, a good sturdy hammer, three varieties of specalized screwdriver, her entire driving and trimming set, her woodworking knives, her files, her rasps, her miniature power drill... only her one good monkey wrench remained, along with the indispensible ball peen hammer and flathead screwdriver on her belt. Even her maglite had been replaced with a plastic tiger that shot light out of its mouth and roared comically when a button on its tail was pressed. She scattered toys all over the floor near her bed. Where was it? It was at the very bottom, right on top of her clothes. Her ratchet. They couldn't have gotten that. It was hidden! But aside from her clothes, there was nothing at the bottom, save for two bricks; she assumed they were to make up the weight. She stared at her ruined toolkit in horror. She was damn sure those tools were in her bag before she left for camp; she'd spent three hours packing them! And she'd NEVER forgotten her ratchet before. Her siblings would never do such a thing, and they didn't even have toys like this at her house. There was only thing that could possibly have happened. Somebody must have done this on the boat or in the mess hall when she was either unconscious or not paying attention. But who would do that? Who had such a sick sense of humor that they'd take away her defining feature? Who was that much of an utter b*****d that they'd take her tools? Her ratchet for Chrissakes! This was... she saw how they tricked them, saw how they split up friendships. But this was beyond the pale here. Ratchet was too outraged to do anything other than curl up fully clothed on the scratchy sheets, the stupid toys scattered near her bed, and whimper quietly, clutching her wrench. Gone were all thoughts of the other campers; she didn't care what she looked like to them. All she knew was that she'd been robbed and... from the look of it, she'd never be able to get them back again. She didn't even know who had taken them, didn't have any suspects, and certainly didn't have any enemies yet. And if the camp staff took them... Suddenly, Ratchet didn't want to be at camp at all any more.

Billy carefully opened the camp door. Looking around he saw... all girls. He blushed and quickly found a bottom bed that he hopped into. He wasn't sure if he should be scared or not. He had gone into the girls space *at least so far* and wasn't sure if he would be attacked or not. He had been told by one of his friends who had a big sister that girls could be scary. He quickly used a cover to hide himself with.

Another tell-tale creaaaak, though hushed, woke Jay. Woke her. She wasn't quite ready to get up. Not a morning person, hah! If this was a real camp, she knew she wouldn't be able to savor sleeping-in as much these days.

Man, was she right. Loud static sounded in the central speakers. LOUD. STATIC. Jay jammed the pillow atop her head but this barely helped as Chris' oh-so-mocking voice came on. To tell them... What? No challenge today. That a-hole! He woke them up for nothing!

Grumbling, Jay tossed her feet over the edge of her bed, grateful that she chose a bottom bunk, and got up, groggy as she was last morning. How many hours of sleep was that? Definitely not enough.

Her stomach protested against unfueled motion and Jay decided that, hell, might as well go and have some breakfast. She waved to the boy - one of the geekier campers, and slipped outside, heading towards the Messhall, purposefully oblivious to her appearance.

The moment that she had heard the door open, Serena opened an eye and smiled to the boy, waving a quiet paw to him before yawning and going back to bed. Her head would normally be filled with questions; however, she was too tired right now. She jumped from the loud sound and listened. Ugh, she muttered quietly so to not wake anyone else, "Thanks." She sounded tired. A yawn escaped passed her lips, and encouraged her to stand up and stretch. Oh man how long had she been out?

Well, seeing that Jay was awake, but not many others, Serena grabbed her supplies and hurried out to the showers so that she could freshen up. She had gotten her time down to getting ready in 3 minutes. Lets see if it still was in work. A competitive smirk came to her lips the minute she stepped outside the cabin, and then raced off. In four minutes flat she had come back, changed, and washed up and looking refreshed. She seemed sad. FOUR minutes? Oh man she was too tired to even beat her old score! She came back in as quietly as she could with the the squeaky door and put away her dirty clothing and supplies. Maybe she should check out the Mess Hall. After all, the food wasn't as bad as it could have been yesterday. It was cold, but she dealt with it. Serena made hr way out of the cabin and towards the Mess Hall.

Jennifer had snuck in while everyone else was sleeping, and just -Couldn't- sleep. So, she sat on an availible top bunk and listened to her music, swinging a glowstick around. She wasn't noticed as Serena and another girl left the cabin, but she shrugged it off.
She'd wait to get to know more than one person on the team before heading out to breakfast though, so she just waited~

Noel walked in and found ALL GIRLS ... and one boy. He grinned feeling like a rooster walking into a hen house. He gave a knowing grin to Helena. He was A - Okay with co-ed sleeping conditions. The brit mod walked across the space between the bunks and chose a top one in the far back.

Quicker then anyone could blink he was set up with a british flag comfitter and matching pillows and posters of various icons. Home sweet home.

She watched the other late walker-in-er with a smile. She was usually fascinated with the British and wondered HOW she could have missed this guy. But she also felt sorry for him and the other guy...the only ones in a cabin full of girls. Well, She'd make the best of it and make friends.

Jumping down off of her bunk (Which was now completely decked out in neon colors and glowy shiny things) she headed towards the back to where he was and smiled eagerly. "Hi there!"

Jay walked stomped back into the cabin, though being careful enough to muffle the door's creak. She was pissed, but not pissed enough to make her teammates suffer along with her. They needed to stick together. Jay was never one for TV, but from watching scarce reality TV shows she knew that when there was drama (hah, it was in the name of the show) in the team they usually lost.

Her top bunk was finally occupied by... That Brit guy that was talking to Axl yesterday. Jay managed a smile and walked up to her bed, waving to Noel and that other girl, "hey guys, guess we're on the same team."

Great. There wasn't an overlap of lace on her top bunk, but it was decked out with British crap. England pride, much? She titled an eyebrow up, eyes wandering to Jennifer's bunk, which glowed familiarity of rave clubs. Mmm, she almost envied whoever her bunkmate was.

ADD. She had it.
Switching her attention to the girl who'd just walked back in, she grinned. She liked her just for being so...-shiny- (Best word she could come up with). But the way she had arrived worried her a bit.

"Is somethin' wrong?" She asked delicately, pushing some of her hair behind her ears and tilting her head to the side. She -usually- wasn't one to pry, but hey, the better she started knowing everyone, the easier it would be to survive, right?

Jay rolled her eyes and shone a sarcastic grin at Jennifer, "oh, no. That sweetheart of a host does everything perfectly! My day's made!" Her nose scrunched up and she sighed, "even if it were, my food wasn't, geez."

Her paws cradled her stomach which was now making unnaturally loud noises. "I thought we were gonna eat here, so I didn't eat at home before leaving... And then yesterday's food was.... It wasn't food at all..."

Another sigh sent Jay plopping down on her bed, "by the way, I like what you did with your "place"." She grinned best she could at the fellow raver, "you sure I've never seen you at a club before?"

Noel smiled down, charmingly, at the new girl he had failed to see earlier. She was nice enough to approach him, that was a good character trait.

"'Ello," He purposely put an extra effort into his accent.

His attention was quickly adverted when the green girl from earlier stomped in. Man she didn't seem happy about something...

"Hey, your that gal that was talking to Axl," He gave her a nod but seemingly said nothing more just listened. Honestly, he couldn't believe his luck still being in a cabin with mostly girls and some other guy. It was still so surreal. What luck~!

"I know whatcha mean." Sitting down on the floor, she yet again brushed some hair aside. Curses for not getting a haircut before she came.

"Actually, i found those pancakes to be pretty good...Then again -ANYTHING- is better than my dad's cooking. We have the fire department and hospital on speed dial for when he cooks." She giggled madly, remembering the french toast incident. The poor cat never recovered.

She almost let the compliment fly over her head, but thankfully she caught on before she overlooked it. "Ah! Thank you! I tried to make it look like my room at home but i forgot my Disco ball." Producing a lime-Green glowstick from her magic pants of wonder (Or so she thought, the pokects were just really deep), she offered it to Jay. "Annnddd..I'm not sure! I don't really pay attention to the people around me~...I'm Jen-..." AGAIN she almost gave away her real name! Mentally smacking herself, she went ahead with the correction. "...Sparkle McFluffers The Pwns of Fish Sticks."

Again, she nearly jumped out of her skin at being spoke to...in a British accent. Grinning up at him, she fished around in her MPOW and offered him a blue glowstick.

Jay accepted the glowstick, smiling. They could use these for sure. Well, Jay could use them to sneak out into the forest and hang with some "rival" friends. She chuckled at the thought, stashing the glowstick away unlit into her pants.

"Name's Jay, Sparkie. And, yeah, all my raver stuff got confiscated... Let's see... They took most of my... Erm... Medicine... And my glowsticks (don't know why they let you keep 'em)."

Wow, this cabin was getting pretty cozy. For the most part, it was full of pretty cool people! The mechanic, the raver, the brit, the DnD geek, the frilly cutesy girl... And there were more that didn't even show up yet!
