The young red head sat Indian style with a book in her lap, her blue grey eyes scanned the page soaking up every word. She took a sharp intake of air once she realized she had been left off again with another cliff hanger. She closed her eyes and snapped the book shut, taking a deep breath to calm herself.
"Abby?" Her little brother poked his head into her room. The young four year old knew this position. Abby was trying to calm herself, resisting the urge to dart out of the house and buy another book. He looked around seeing his sister had been caught up in another one of her fantasy again. Her room was practically a library, bookshelves lined the three of the four wall. The fourth was dedicated to sketches of what she believed the characters or scenes in her books looked like, is was clear she didn't have much company.
Abby opened one eye as she looked at her younger brother, "Don't worry Caleb I'm not going to go to the bookstore." She said standing up and ruffling the younger ones hair. "I'm broke anyways, but I do need fresh air..." She said slipping on her boots and laced them up. She paused on her way out the door seeing herself in the mirror.
Chin length red hair was spiked up in random directions. A grey tank that read Super Real in shiny silver lettering and baggy grey pajama bottoms. She walked over to the closet and pulled out a jacket zipping it up halfway. She then smoothed down her hair so it just spiked out at the bottom. Opening the door she took a deep breath of fresh air and began walking.
She had been daydreaming as she walked when she heard voices, glancing over her shoulder she noticed a young girl and a young man following her by car. This brought her back to a mystery book she had just read, she stopped walking and kinda just stared at the two with her head tilted to the side.

Momy slowed, until she was completely stopped. She studied the man and paused, considering his option. It was a rather interesting offer, but where would Momy ask to go? Not home. And if not there, where? Momy sighed, feeling her quietness a bit rude she decided to answer. "I guess I'm really going anywhere, if you're willing to take me." She spoke with a softness, that covered her true feelings deep down. 'But I guess if he saw me running.. He must think I'm pretty crazy.. And just wants to be nice.." She thought, frowning inside her head. She couldn't help but act stupid and ruin everything for herself. It was rather sad.
The man was pretty handsome looking, sort of like a nice rich snob. But most fancy men were. Sure they were classy, but Momy was into 'Different.' She had to chuckle at that, but she would do it later, as if not to add to the craziness she had already displayed. Momy sighed, she was always such a nervous nelly around guys.

Steven smiled, "Hop in. I had no destination in mind either really. Probably just drive for a bit." As he opened up the passenger door, he noticed yet another girl. Man, they're coming from everywhere. I am one lucky son-of-a-b***h. When he saw this other girl, he recognized her. Probably from school, or if not, from the neighborhood. He drove through this one all the time to get to his house, so he probably saw her while he was driving through.
Steven looked to the other girl and called out, "Hey! You going anywhere? Want to join? I'm sure it'd make this girl more comfortable to be with another girl in the car with an attractive stranger like me." He laughed playfully, and added,"I know the car only has two seats, but, it is a convertible, so you can fit. We could all hang out, get to know each other. Sounds like fun right?" Steven didn't know what to expect after all of that. Either he would've scared them all away, or he'd be riding with two ladies. He did have some ideas of where to go. He was rather hungry, and he wouldn't mind treating the ladies to some breakfast this late.

Being noticed was something new for Abby. She grinned and jogged up to the car. She recognized this boy from school, he was the star of the football team. Thats all she knew, she never cared to learn the rest. She hadn't even bother knowing his name. As she jogged she didn't even think of all the horrible possibilities that might happen like she usually did. They could get in wreck, this could be a prank, there was a whole list of possibilities. None that seemed to matter at the moment. Abby just thought it would be a good change of scenery. Not as wonderful as the scenes in her lovely books but still it was a change.
Once she reached the car she smiled at the nervous looking girl. She seemed familiar as well. "Hi." She said with a small short nod. She then looked at Steven, "I have no destination in mind, but a drive sounds pleasant." She looked at Momy, "You can have the seat." She offered. She wasn't sure where she would ride though as she looked at the car. Did she just sit on the car? She had no clue, which was evident with how she stared at the car as if waiting for the answer to appear. Cars weren't exactly her thing, sure she read about a few but she preferred taking the bus to a from school every day.

"Hello.." She replied, her voice quiet and gentle. Momy stared at the girl. It seemed the more she studied the two, the more familar they looked. But then again, Momy never really paid much attention to anything other than herself, her friends, and a boy. So it was hard to tell, but that was pretty much the whole thing in detail. "If you don't want it..
Momy replied to Abby's comment. She didn't like feeling like she had to choose something, though she did do it on occasions. But seeing as the two were strangers she might as well go with the flow for now. The more she continued to stare at their faces, the more reconizable the two became. Then it hit her. The girl was Abby. She usually had her nose in a book while sitting in the library. As for the boy, he was Steven. Captain of the football team or something like that. But never the less he was a jock. Momy wasn't too fond of them, but she didn't completely dispise them either.
She wondered if they also reconized one another. Just as she began to figure things out, her phone vibrated in her hand. Momy jumped, and glanced down at the electronic. It was Amy. She sighed, and read the message; You should ccccoooommmmeeee!!! There are soo many hawt guys! 8P Momy chuckled, and typed a simple response; NO THANKS. Seeing as Momy was pocketless she just continued to hold her phone.

Steven smiled at this other girl as he lowered the top of his convertible Viper. he then added, "See, you can just sit between us. It's not a stick shift." Steven then asked the two girls, "Oh, my name's Steven by the way, and yours?" He looked the two over and smiled, Yes they were both cute. He wondered if the two of them were hungry at all. He was thinking about taking the two of them to Denny's. He really couldn't make a move on either of them when they both were there, but he could always use more friends. Even though the wholed school was pretty much friends with him, a few more would never hurt.
He then looked at the other girl as she recieved a text, "Who's texting you at this hour?" He laughed, her wasn't the one to talk, since he had people text him all night normally

Momy slid into shotgun, but made sure to leave enough room. The car was quite large so there really was no need to cramp up, but she just felt like she was being polite. Momy was shocked that she had guessed right on him being the Steven. "Momy." She responded quickly, being one of those people that tried to be cool when they first met someone. She glanced into his eyes. They were hyponotizing in a way. Momy could now understand why so many women went crazy for the guy.
Her gaze soon drifted to Abby, when Steven had asked about her being texted. Momy laughed quietly. "Just a friend. She needed to inform me of some apprently really hot guys at a party." She said, running a hand through her hair. Momy really couldn't care is her hair looked messy. Everytime she saw one of the popular girls in her school complain about nothing being wrong with their hair, she had to laugh and point at them. Then later on she usually would make an inside joke about them.

"Momy," Steven repeated, "That's a cute name." He smiled as he looked to the other girl, waiting for her to hop in. He then looked back to Momy and asked, "A party? Why aren't you at the party? It sounds more fun than getting a ride with a total stranger." Steven shrugged, he was surprised he didn't know about this party, he usually was invited to every party but seeing this girl's style he could only assume her friends were the same, and he didn't go to many raves and rocker-style parties often, since he only had a few good friends that were into that kind of stuff.
He then added, "Though, I am happy you're not at that party, or we would never have bumped into each other, and I probably would've been stuck all alone, all night." He smiled at both of the girls, he was happy he wouldn't be alone, not that he couldn't handle being alone a little, he just would rather have company than drive around by himself at night. Who knew, he could run into trouble or get abducted, that would be bad. The whole football team would fail without him there to guide them to victory.

Her face turned a rosey pink as he complemented her name. It was more of a shock if anything. No one had ever really said it before, and it caughter her well off guard. "Uhh.. Thank you." She said, before tackling his next question. "Actually, I've been to enough parties like hers, to know that I would probably get abducted by some crazy old man that lives in her basement or something." Momy chuckled, sure it was bad dissing her best friend like that, in such a mean manner, but it was true. Amy's father was very questionable. Always trying to be sneaky, and scope out girls at parties. Momy nodded in agreement with Steven's words. "Me to. My house is pretty crazy, so this way it's a win win type of thing."
Momy began to warm up to Steven. If Amy knew that Momy was talking with Steven, probably the most well-knowed teen in town, she would bust two guts laughing. But it's not like she needed to know anything. Secrets were dangerous to tell anyone. You could never know if someone would take your secret and share it. Momy frowned, she couldn't figure out why she had such pessimistic thoughts. Either way they put a huge damper on her mood.

After Abby climbed into the car probably in the most complicated way possible she was finally able to sit down. What was even better was that she hadn't damaged anything, yet. She was such a klutz. She could trip over nothing and somehow find someway to hurt some one, something, or herself.
Looking back and fourth at the two she decided to make herself noticed before she was forgotten. She cleared her throat,"I'm Abby by the way." She stated making herself noticed once more. This was a first she had actually talked to anyone outside of her very tiny group of acquaintances.

Steven laughed when she suggested an old man in a basement abducting her, "Sounds like one odd party to me. Are you sure that's a party?" Steven then put the car in gear once more as the other girl joined them, having parked when he stopped to pick the two girls up by chance. He was lucky, he could now try to win over two girls in one night; if not getting them both, he'd at least get one. Though, he did like parties, they only got him in trouble half the time, with coach that is; so instead of finding some party, this was a nice substitute.
Steven then looked to the other girl, who introduced herself, "Abby is it? Is it short for something?" He assumed Abigail or something, then again, it might just be Abby. He then asked, "Do you both go to my school by any chance? I didn't think so, since you didn't seem to know me, but now that I think of it, I think I've seen you two around. In the hallways or something." He assumed everyone at his school would know him and recognize him.

Abby just shook her head. "Nope just Abby." She said with a small nod. She listened to him as she looked around the car. It was really nice, his parents must be rich. When asked if they went to the same school she nodded again. "Yep we go to the same school." She had seen Steven practicing on the football field, Her bus had to drive right past it everyday.
"I recognized you though, just couldn't put a name to your face at the time." She had still been in her little fantasy world when she first saw the two. When she was off in her own world she forgot almost everything. "You've probably seen me in the library or in the courtyard. It might be a bit easier to recognize me if I had a book." She said with a small laugh.

Steven smiled as he repeated her name, "Abby." Maybe he repeated the name to further associate the name with the face or maybe he just liked to hear himself talk. When she suggested her being more recognizable with a book, he paused for a moment, imagining her with a book, and it clicked, "Oh yes! I do believe I have seen you in the library. I think I had detention one day and saw you in the library." He then nodded, and a look of great accomplishment was smacked onto his face.
Steven then gave teh car a little gas and the vehicle began to move. The gentle pur of the engine was music to his ears, he loved this car. He then asked both of them, "So, what do you two think of me taking you out to grab something to eat?" He was thinking Denny's or something. Unless they had anything else in mind, that was his destination; for the time being anyways.

"I have no clue." She replied to the party comment. Steven actually seemed like a decent guy alone, but when he was in the halls he was like a terrorizer, at least to some people. She couldn't quite figure out why people acted like they did.
And her other guess of the girl being Abby, was right. Her eyes stared at all the houses that passed by. The colors seemed to merge into one, which facisnated Momy very much. She wasn't very tired anymore either, just sort of waiting on someone to suggest something.
Steven did just that, with suggesting that they grab a bite to eat. That sounded nice, but Momy didn't have any money on her. She didn't show if she should accept the request or deny it. Momy shrugged. "If you want to.. Though I'd probably have to pay you back, or we could just stop at my house and I could get some money." She replied honestly. Momy felt better when she was being honest, rather than wait at the last minute. She didn't like having to reply on other people for anything. Momy probably would of brought cash, had she known she would of been getting in a car with the most popular boy in school. But no one could see the future.

Steven smiled at Momy when she suggested she pay him back or grab some money, "Don't be silly Momy, I am more than happy to pay for you two lovely ladies. My treat, so don't sweat it." He smiled as he continued to drive, and soon enough pulled into the parking lot of Denny's. He took the key out and the engine came to a hault. He unlocked the doors, and quicly got out, leaving his door open if Abby chose to go out that way, and then ran over to the passenger side and opened Momy's door as well.
"Alright, c'mon, time's a wasting," He told them with a grin; He wasn't extremely hungry or anything, he was just saying that. "You both have been to a Denny's before, right?" He couldn't imagine someone who had yet to eat at a Denny's but, there were always those few that never tried it.
