Hola everyone from BYU! First week of classes is over! I think we need to all find each other (for everyone who's here). We could have a party. smile

In writing that sounds like a great idea, but the problem is that we're all scattered through out campus (on and off) and trying to align everyone's schedules could prove difficult

We could just pick a Saturday and whoever could come would, and whoever couldn't, we'd miss them. I just think it'd be fun. smile

I think that could be fun.

Haha, I'm down at Dixie State in St. George right now - though I hope once I get back from my mission and finish off my GED's, I can transfer up the Y and get into the animation program there.

Kasi: Yeah, basically. Or meet up for one of the events. Which reminds me... FALL FEST TONIGHT! smile
Mormon: Ooh, animation? Art school is hard to get into. (As is music, which I'm in) I wish you the best of luck!

@Mormon Pioneer The animation program at BYU is very hard to get into, but I've heard that it is amazing. Pixar gets some of its first picks form BYU. My teacher said about 100 kids will apply and they'll accept 25.
So make sure your figure drawing skills are up to par (and beyond smile )
@ AoitSakura - yeah maybe, but I think it would be easier for us to find one another if we did it on a night when it wasn't a big activity. "I'm wearing a pink shirt" -at the party- "well, so-and-so said their wearing a pink shirt . . . a fundraiser to help raise money for breast cancer was probably not the best place to meet . . ."

Kasi, that's a good one. xD I actually meant meet up before an event, by, say, the south doors of the HFAC or something. Get very specific. smile

I hate that BYU kids and teachers keep using cardinal directions to find everything. Any idea which side is south without looking at a map?

Of course. I have an excellent internal compass. Almost always can say which way's north. Plus East is always the closest mountains. That's easy to remember. smile

yeah my friends and I had a debate if the mountains were east or west . . . that was interesting.

Mountains to the east, lake to the west, and point of the mountain to the north. South is the only one that doesn't have a reference. When someone asks me "How can you tell south?" I go.... "Find Saint George." ... but only if they won't get mad at me.
But yuuussss... Party! Is a good plan. If anyone wanted we could probably do something at my apartment. I'm at the south of campus. (There's that tricky south again! Sorry! XD ) Oh, and if anyone remembers Toys, I could probably get him to come too. jaja
