MINI-QUEST!
It was late one afternoon, the sun was setting and displaying a beautiful array of colors in the sky. Dimi was just strolling along, basking in the glow of the setting sun. As she began to close her eyes and let the warmth seep into her fur, she heard an almost inaudible noise. Wondering what it was, Dimi held her head up, ears pricked forward, and waited untill it sounded again.
Strange, it sounds like something that's dying.
Realizing exactly what just ran through her head Dimi started toward the location of the dying thing. Upon reaching it, Dimi stopped, and with a confused look on her face she watched it for a moment. It looked nothign like any normal creature she had seen. It looked mostly like an oni, but it had much thicker fur with fluffy little bits on it's ankles and cheeks.
I guess it must be all special and stuff because it lives in Hokkaido and must stay warm.
That was the best reasoning Dimi could come up with in that moment of astonishment. It truly was an adorable little thing. If Dimi wasn't aware of what oni were like, and wasn't cautious around them she probably would've grabbed this little one and cuddled it to death.
"Do you need help? Your leg appears to be broken." she said quietly, not sure of whether the little oni knew she had been standing there for the past few minutes. At the sound of her voice, the little oni jumped up and growled at her while holding his injured leg up. He wobbled as he stood. THis nearly made Dimi giggle, just because hte sight of this was too cute. Dimi figured that unless this little guy got treatment from one of the local villages, he would probably die. She also knew that there was no chance of him letting her touch him... unless he was asleep.
Oh, this is going to look sooo bad, but i know i must!
Dimi grabbed a thick stick in her mouth from off the ground nearby. With it firmly gripped, she knocked the little oni upside the head. Brutal, but it worked to knock him unconscious. With a sigh Dimi prodded the bundle of evil to make sure he was not gonna spring up and get her. Finding him unresponsive, but still breathing, Dimi heaved him up and headed towards the nearest village.
Finally reaching the village, Dimi went ot the doctor's door. She clawed at the door until the man came and opened it. She saw the shock on his face, follwed by the sympathy for the young pup. They both understood eachother. The docot would put a simple splint on hte oni, that way once it was healed it would pretty much just fall off. Dimi would carry the oni back to where she had found him, that way when he woke up he would know exactly where he was, and not feel stressed or be volatile.
