Suzu seemed to think before pointing off on another direction that seemed a bit more 'safer' "What about that way? It looks like there's a large tree that might have some hidden treasure.

Tahki tilted her head, Suzu was right. The little mud cub gave a nod before she even thought anything else, Tahki was plowing through the mud. She was a cub of action... to a fault.
But treasure ahoy~
That kept her plowing... hard work... it took its tole on the little cub. She had to stop and pant. Tahki looked back and shot the other a hopeless look.

Suzu was walking on the logs again. She chuckled, "You're doing it the hard way! This way is much easier in the long run and you don't get worn out."
She stopped and held out a paw offering to help Tahki up on the log. "It might be a bit longer. Besides when we get older we can travel in the mud and muck and make it a lot easier to get around than having to use these stupid logs."
She nodded of course as a cub she was convinced she was right. And that the logs would keep them from ending up in a mess and a half.

Tahki just grinned at that. Now she was excited to grow and have big strong legs that would work great with mud traveling. Would make adventuring much easier. Yeah, perfect logic.
The blue cub excepted the help offered, after all , Suzu was onto something here with the logs. Mud was fun but it was tiring. Ah well.
"You really are smart Suzu," Tahki grinned. The blue and white cub was now a dripping mess of mud. Tahki couldn't care less though.

Suzu chuckled, "Eh it just takes some thought."
She stretched grinning at Tahki, "So lets go~!" She chuckled and grinned widely. As she started heading back off in their direction occasionally sniffing around. "What type of treasure do you think we'll find?"

Tahki shook a bit of the mud off her fur. Not that she didnt like mud, but it was a bit slippery on the logs when you were dripping mud here and there.
"Hmm?" The young cub looked up and tilted her head. Her huge ears flopped long side as she tilted her head. "I suppose I don't know. Maybe its a really pretty stone or a tastey snack. " Tahki smacked her lips. She was hoping for the snack.
The little blue cub continued on her way being very careful where she set her paws down. Didn't want to slip , nope. Every now and then the cub sniffed the air as well. There just had to be some treasure right?

Suzu chuckled as Tahki shook her fur out. She continued on her path her tail flickered. As she hopped along.
"Mmmm tastey snacks. I hope so. Mice are really nice." She said before nodding. Her pace quickening with the prospect of food.

Mice, mmmm that sounded really good right now. Tahki's tummy agreed audibly too with her with a loud gurgle. Yep the cub was hungry. The little blue lioness stopped and blushed a bit.
"G-guess I'm pretty hungry." She looked up at the leaves over head and started forth again. "Lets see if we can find some mice soon," The blue cub gave a playful wink to Suzu as her pace quickened some.
Maybe they'd find something even bigger then that. Tahki smacked her chops.

Suzu chuckled right before her tummy made the same sound Tahki's did. "Oh...." She laughed again.
"I think both our tummies want us to hurry up." She shook her head, "I wonder what we'll find." she started looking for sign of mice or other small prey that would be easy for the pair to catch.
It hopefully wouldn't be long before they hit a patch of dry ground with grasses and stuff growing on it. She'd learned mice loved hanging around there. "Maybe we'll find some mice once we get to a dry patch with some grass. I don't think they like the mud."

Tahki tilted her head at that. Of course mice wouldn't be in the mud. Why hadn't she thought of that before? Tahki would have smacked her for head right about now if a lion cub was capable of that.
Mice were smaller then her, they probably drown in the mud if they ever attempted.
"Well lets go see what treasure we can fine then~" Tahki giggled and dove face first into the mud, emerging and pushing her way toward the little grassy bar. Mice ahoy~
Hopefully. The cubs tummy grumbled again.

Suzu chuckled as she continued on her way. Her tail flickered. "Yes treasure!"
She kept to the trees though. She was already hungry and wading in mud didn't help none. Bouncing along she hummed a quite little mouse catching song.

Tahki dragged her self onto the little grassy patch of land. She could have just laid there on her tummy for hours but no, adventure awaited. That and mice. Mice were good , yes.
Tahki got up and also bounced a bit, mimicking the tune being hummed badly.
Yeah... obviously Tahki knew nothing about hunting. She was still a cub after all and her mom usually brought back food.

Suzu followed shortly after Tahki reaching the grassy bank. She paused and looked around wondering how they were going to catch the mice.
"Soo.... now what do we do?" She asked curiously sorta sniffing around for mice.
"... I've not really hunted before.... though I'd think mice were easy enough to catch..... they're tiny right? So they can't move as fast......" She wrinkled her nose not sure if that sounded right or not.

Tahki shook her head, "That sounds pretty right to me," The cub smiled, "Unless they're part lizard or something. Those lizards move FAST I tell ya." Tahki made a fast motion with her paw to demonstrate how a lizard moved.
While she was busy showing Suzu how a mouse moved, one perched it self right next to Tahki. The little things nose moved along with its whiskers as its beady little eyes looked from one cub to the other.
Tahki still hadn't noticed and was still going on about lizards while the mouse stayed right next to her.

Suzu watched nodding softly however the second movement caught the corner of her eye and she glanced just barely at the mouse.
Her tail flickered, "I'm sure lizards wouldn't taste well either." She swayed side to side for a second trying to catch Tahki's attention before nodding towards the mouse trying to get her friend to look in that particular direction.
"I wonder if it's any different than catching bugs..... Mom showed me and my bother how to catch bugs." She nodded softly something moving not far from the first mouse caught her attention. It seemed there were at least two mice.
