It all just seemed too unreal for Uzuri. Her dreams and wishes were coming true, and she felt like nothing bad had ever happened in her life. She knew that this was right, that this moment, this dog....it was all right.
Flustered and embarrassed, Uzuri burried her face in Ade's chest, afraid to look him in the eye. Her own eyes had started to water from happiness, but she kept her face embedded in the fur on his neck.

Adejola felt the same way. This moment was perfect and it was everything he'd dreamed about but had never realized it. When he felt wetness on his neck, the dog frowned and nuzzled Uzuri again. "Please tell me those are happy tears and not sad ones." He stated softly, a tinge of a smile in his words.

Realizing she had been caught, Uzuri started to laugh and smile, turning away in embarassment. "Of course they're happy ones, silly." She looked back at him, her eyes glimmering now with wetness. Leaning in quickly, she licked his cheeck, then turned to try and change the subject.
"So, uh, do you think your family would mind?" although she was turned away, her face was hot and red, and her heart was still pounding.

He chuckled softly and nuzzed her, moving closer to her so that their furry bodies were pressed against one another. "I'm glad you're happy. I am too." He stated before blushing as she licked his cheek. "I don't know if they will, Uzuri... I'll ask Jua at aleast. I don't think he'll really care, and my parents might not... I just don't know... I at least need to tell them good bye though." The wild dog sighed softly and nuzzled the other again before he paused and frowned in thought. "Uzuri.... does this mean we're mates? Cause, I really like you and that would make me really happy." He stated with a smile.

"I'll stay until you say goodbye, then." Uzuri paused, a little frozen by his words. She hadn't heard anyone say such a thing to her; she was never thought highly of by the opposite sex.
"I....I-I guess so." she turned and came in close to Ade, pressing her nose against his. "I'd do anything to make you happy." she slid her head down, returning it to its former place burried in his chest.

Ade smiled and snuggled against Uzuri, giving her a loving lick on the cheek. "I love you, Uzuri." He stated seriously before he hesitantly pulled away. "I'll be right back, alright?"
With that, the wilddog ran back toward his den to ask his family to join him in the trip to this new pride that Uzuri had started. And if they didn't want to come, then he'd just have to say goodbye to them all.
