"I thought we cleared up that silly thing issue?" she laughed, shaking her head in feigned disappointment. But his next statement was a challenge, and she looked at him in surprise. Pleased surprise.
"I guess you must be right. Something's gotta be keeping me here. I haven't even thought about escaping yet. How weird is that? You're definitely not boring. I don't think I've met someone like you before."
She nodded, affirming that statement in short order. She was certain she had never met anyone like him before. Afterall, if she had, she never would have left him. Not for the wide open rogue lands, anyway, where there were so many creatures who were less interesting, or even volatile.
"Though, maybe I should go, huh? What would you do if I just left right now?"

"I'm glad you like me, darling." Mauja swished his tail back and forth as he grew even more excited. "I'd just hate to bore you." He tilted his head to the side, with an obviously satisfied expression.
"Now, I would just cry if you left me here, all alone and defenseless." he pushed his lower lip out, a teasing tone in his voice. He knew what she wanted to hear, but drawing it out like this was just so much more fun.
Leaning in, Mauja let his mouth gently touch the edge of her ear. "I'd chase you." his whisper was deep, and when he finished, he decided to run his tongue over the soft fur in her ear.

Poro laughed, then purred a bit.
"Well, I certainly wouldn't want to leave you crying. How shameful and pitiful you would b-" her teasing was cut off when she saw him leaning in and she let her ear twitch when she felt him speaking into it. She inclined her head toward him slightly, on instinct, and she closed her eyes when he licked her.
"I wonder if I'd out run you," she replied easily, turning her head so that she could rub her cheek to his as she spoke as close to his ear as she could, "or if I would just let you catch me?"
She grinned then, pulling back and padding around him teasingly, rubbing her long body against his and flicking her tail into his face, "I like you a lot, cuddles."

"Aw, wouldn't you miss me?" He winked, replying to her comment about out running him. He had to admit, he wasn't the fastest cheetah around, but he wouldn't give up on someone as interesting as this. Not that easily, of course. When Mauja found something he liked, he stuck with it, if only for a little while.
"You do, do you?" He closed his eyes when her tail ran past his face, savoring the scent and feel of her fur. It had been a long time since a female told him that outright, but it felt good to hear the words. "Well, aren't I the lucky guy." He rose to his feet, steadily nearing the female. "So, what now, my dear?" He tilted his head at her, a wicked smirk emerging.

"I think," she looked up at the sky. The sun was still high, "it's getting late. We should find a place to rest."
She grinned at him, purring dangerously and swishing her tail as she sauntered languidly away from him. Looking back over her shoulder coyly, she canted her head to one side, one ear perk up as the other folded back as if she were trying to be daring and shy at the same time.
"I think there's a little den this way. Just big enough for two. How oddly convenient."
And with that she padded off, absolutely certain he would follow her.

Mauja's eyes flicked up to the sky; that little liar. He liked it, though. Very much so. "I suppose we should." he trotted up behind her, resting his head on her back. "It'll be dark so soon, then we'd be completely lost." He felt like a child, playing fun games with this girl who he didn't even know her name.
"I love odd conveniences."
He watched her for a moment as she trotted away, admiring her curves. With a brisk shake, he quickly trotted up behind her, following her to the little den she spoke of.
