Polette: "You see, that's not the best thing to say." Mauja laughed a little, as he was never wanting to tell others things about himself. But if they asked, he felt obligated to respond, even if he knew they wouldn't like the answer.
"Instead, you should come outright with what you want to know about me. You must have some burning questions you want to ask me?" He fidgeted with his paws. Normally, others wanted to know more about him just because of how he acted, how he talked. Their mouths were usually pouring with questions.

Seaki: Mufasa tilted his head to the side and pondered for a moment. He supposed nothing would be said without prompting on his part. He wasn't very solicable after the Tononeka - a small group that loved the idea of torture. His foster mother, Katavi, was the 'princess'.
"Burning Questions?" He wasn't really one to pry. "Not really. I'm just curious why you came up to me? Not that I'm not enjoying your company."

Polette: "It's because I'm not terribly fond of being alone." Mauja turned his head to the side, looking out at the savannah. It was true, he did hate being left to his own devices. Even if he didn't show it, he valued every encounter, even if it wasn't a great one.
"Besides, a big handsome fluffball like you? Who could resist?" Mauja flicked his eyes back towards Mufasa, a small grin now on his maw. He was glad that this lion wasn't 'offended' by the way he spoke.

Seaki: "Well then, you're welcome to stay a while, then, Mauja," Mufasa commented lowering his head and relaxing his stance further. "And your welcome to that, too. I had no plans eating it," He told him. Frustration, boredum and memories often made him want to kill - hence the now cold mass next to him.
"I'm afraid it isn't too fresh anymore."

Polette: "You've seen right through my ruse, then?" Mauja laughed, shifting over more towards the dead animal. He saw the sky beginning to darken, and he knew that he had to return to his cubs soon.
Lifting his body, he tried to grab hold of the carcass, pulling it a little towards him. "I thank you for your kindness, love. But the sky is darkening, and I have little ones that I must feed." He closed his eyes, preparing himself to carry the heavy load.

Seaki: Mufasa gave a nod. The ruse... he wanted the meal. Mufasa found himself not minding. It's not like he was going to eat it - and he had little ones to feed. Mufasa gave a quirky smirk. "Need help?" He asked faintly, prepared to help if needed. He stayed in his laying position, white tail flicking slightly.

Polette: "Ehh...." Mauja stopped, a limp leg fastened in his jaws. "I think I'll be all right. Thank you, darling, but I don't want to have to move you from your spot." He grinned past the carcass; he partially didn't want his cubs to see a lion, as he didn't want them to be friendly with them. Only one lion was deemed worthy of that, and his cubs would meet her soon enough. No matter how kind this lion was, he didn't want to implant the idea that all lions were kind in their small heads.

Seaki: "Alright," Mufasa watched the cheetah for a moment, then closed his eyes. He gave a frown, slightly. A nap would be good. The coverstation helped ebb away his angry, and curb it for a bit, but the sadness lingered with his abndonment of his father. "See ya around, Mauja," he said, without re-opening his eyes.
